There were definitely some positives and negatives about this hotel. First off, I will say the staff was very friendly. They would greet you with a smile wherever they saw you on property. I ate dinner at the poolside restaurant a few times and I enjoyed my food as well. Some negatives were that the hallway itself smelt moldy and nasty. Could be due to the carpeting, which was in bad condition, or all the old wood decor or a combo of both. My room smelt the same. The shower smelt like urine and some of the wood in the bathroom was rotting. I guess due to continuous exposure to water. I also didn’t like the fact that there was little accessibility for a stroller. Maybe I didn’t see it, but, to get down to the pool and most of the restaurants I only saw a staircase which was inconvenient to take my baby around. I did like the fact that it was right across the road from the beach, but, also somewhat far from the airport. Another positive is that they had a nice play area for the kids. My baby loved playing there. Everyone is different. Maybe you will enjoy this hotel. That is just a bit of my honest review.

I booked this hotel temporarily because the heated swimming pool of another hotel was closed for maintenance, so I chose this hotel. Let me talk about the advantages. 1. The room is very good, the facilities are good, especially the super large bathroom, and there is a big bathtub. 2. The reason for choosing this hotel is that there is a heated swimming pool and naughty castle. I think the water temperature and area of ​​the heated swimming pool are OK. By the way, I have to say that the heated swimming pool is 1.2 meters deep, which is very suitable for children and adults. Compared with several hotels, some swimming pools are only up to the knees of adults, and it is cold for children to play. Pullman in Sanya Bay also has a heated swimming pool, which is small... The heated swimming pool is a must-have for taking children to Sanya in winter. It is a very cost-effective experience. I originally booked it for one day, and then the child felt it was good, so I extended it for another day. 3. The hotel service is also very considerate. Children's toothbrushes and bathrobes are prepared for children to check in. The customer service contacted in advance and asked if there were any needs. Five-star praise makes you feel at home. 4. The location is amazing. It is connected to Baihua Valley. It is right outside the lobby. Haha. If you walk a road outside, you will reach the beach. There are also lounge chairs there. 5. There are rich breakfasts from 7 to 11 o'clock. Although it is not a first-line sea view, the price-performance ratio is really nothing to say. It has everything you need. I will come to it next time.

For me personally it was value for money for the following reasons. The room, bed linen and bathroom were clean. The ocean front view was picturesque. Most importantly the staff was very helpful and kind. The front desk was very helpful. The lady (name Kiki) helped us book a Christmas buffet dinner, Thanks a lot, it was valuable as the show and food were amazing. Other things: Breakfast was average. Facilities a little bit outdated, don't expect something special.

This hotel was perfect. A 10 minute taxi from Yalong Bay and a 10 minute taxi from the forest. We had a 4 night stay. There is a night market a 3 minute walk from the hotel which we spend most evenings trying Hainan delicacies. The hotel room is spacious with a nice shower, and pool which is actually open earlier and later than what was said on trip.com. Aircon worked very well, staff kept the room clean for us. Easy to deliver food to room. An unforgettable stay and experience in Sanya. Thank you ❤️

The first thing that attracted me to this hotel was the affordable prices compared to other nearby luxury hotels. It was definitely one of the better deals, and you get a very satisfactory stay in return. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful, including the front desk staff, bellhops, bartender, cleaning staff, waiters, and various other encountered staff (knowing a little Chinese helps). A staff member kept in contact with me through Wechat with its built-in translation tool, answering any questions, helping with any request, and making sure each day remained a satisfactory experience. I would like to give a special compliment to Zoey, the front desk staff member who was of great assistance; she deserves a promotion! Also, praise to the friendly and hardworking cleaning lady that is assigned to building 3, floor 5 (I don't know her name); she also deserves a bonus! The room itself is cozy, comfortable, and clean. Room service is smooth, it is very convenient to take care of any living necessities, and the pools and beach are a short walk away. There are no complaints that I have in regard to my stay. My biggest highlight is definitely the big bathtub! My only suggestion would be a single foldable lounge chair for the balcony, allowing for a person to lay down outside or for sunbathing, so it is not needed to always go to the public sunbathing areas.

The hotel is beautifully located, but getting there was a bit complicated. The taxi driver dropped us off at the entrance gate of Yalong Park, and we had difficulty reaching the hotel. Despite sending an email in advance asking for the WeChat contact, we received no response. We only managed to reach the hotel by phone with the help of a kind lady at the entrance, who arranged for our luggage to be picked up at the park gate. The room (Peacock villa nr. 5017) was truly beautiful and worth seeing, simply wonderful. It was also very clean, and the air conditioning was strong and effective. We dined at the Thai restaurant, but the dishes had a strong Chinese influence, which might not appeal to all Western guests. Unfortunately, the Western restaurant was closed during our stay. We were transported to the various attractions in the park by a VIP shuttle bus. Leo provided us with his WeChat contact, which made exploring the park possible despite our lack of Chinese language skills. English is not spoken at the hotel, which made communication challenging. Leo had to send us the tickets for the attractions via WeChat, which was a bit complicated. It would have been more convenient if the tickets were provided at check-in. Overall, the hotel is truly worth seeing, but one night is sufficient in our opinion. Checking out was also hassle-free, but the 1000 RMB deposit was only refunded upon request. We particularly want to thank Leo for his exceptional efforts in ensuring we had a wonderful stay. His assistance was invaluable and greatly enhanced our experience. In summary, a beautiful hotel with some logistical challenges, but definitely worth a visit.

This hotel was recommended by a friend who came to Sanya before, and it didn't disappoint me. When I arrived at the hotel front desk, the waiter introduced the room types to me. Their hygiene is very clean and there is no peculiar smell. The waiter will greet everyone when he sees them. The facilities are also very complete. There are refreshments in the lobby. When you order takeout, the robot will deliver the food to the room. There is a car rental service downstairs, as well as a small electric scooter. One of the best resorts I have ever stayed in. Initially, I was skeptical about visiting China due to some negative hotel reviews I had read. However, this trip completely changed my perspective. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Chelsey Yang was incredibly attentive when my daughter had a splinter in her foot, providing medical care right at the breakfast buffet. My daughter was in so much pain that she wouldn't let me near her, but Chelsey managed to calm her down and treat her effectively. Our butler, Fiona, was always responsive to our requests, making our stay even more enjoyable. The photographer captured beautiful photos of our family, creating memories we will cherish forever. The room was immaculate, and with only 200 units at the resort, we enjoyed the beach and restaurants almost entirely to ourselves. The privacy and lack of crowds were a significant plus for us. The kids had a fantastic time at Club Hyatt, participating in various activities such as oil painting, soap making, clay modeling, crab catching, tent making with coconut leaves, and even climbing coconut trees. This allowed us to have much-needed time to ourselves, knowing our children were well taken care of and entertained. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with this resort. The excellent service, clean facilities, and engaging activities for kids made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly vacation in China.

The hotel is a little bit old, but it's nice, clean and the staff is very friendly, although almost everybody didn't speak English. - The breakfast was quite appropriate for a foreigner: fried eggs, french fries, cereal, coffee from a coffee machine, some fried chicken with vegetables, some kinds of steamed and baked buns, watermelon and melon, cherry tomatoes and lettuce with some salad dressings. - The room is clean, the hotel provides shampoo, shower gel, and lotion, a hairdryer, two cups, two glasses, some teabags, bottled water, and fresh towels every day. There were two bathrobes and towels for the beach with a bag where you can put your towel. We have been living in three different rooms because at first, we came for 2 days and lived in a comfortable room with a garden view 2408 on the 4th floor, it was the best room. Then we decided to move to dadonghai and after 3 days we came back to this hotel again and lived in a room with a swimming pool and a lake view 2603 on the 6th floor for 4 more days. On the last evening, two small lizards appeared in the room and we asked the staff to change the room for 1 night, they were very nice and they agreed and gave us room 1107 on the first floor with a swimming pool view, the room was for a family with a child and had some toys inside. The first two rooms had a bathtub, the third one had a shower. All three rooms were with a balcony. - The swimming pool area is awesome, very beautiful, and clean. The deck chairs were very cozy, the swimming pool was quite clean. There are some hammocks and a swing with a lake view where you can enjoy the quietness and have a rest. - The beachside is near, just across the road, the beach is clean, the sand is white and beautiful, and the sea is quite clean, there were some deck chairs and sunshades. You can have fun with some water activities at the beach too if you want of course. There are not so many cafes and restaurants appropriate for foreign people except Subway, McDonald's, Starbucks, KFC, and Pizza Hut. If there were a little bit more western food cafes close to the beachside, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. If you want to have a lazy and quiet holiday you should go there and relax!
