Every year, we go to Mallorca for my summer vacation, and we do a bit of "Hotel hopping" while we are there. This was the first time we stayed at Hipotels Bahia Cala Millor and, overall, it was worth the stay. We were lucky enough to get upgraded to a top-floor sea-view room, and the views are worth it (FYI, the pictures I am posting are for room 522). The rooms are a bit on the small size for a 4-star hotel, meaning that it may get a bit cramped if you carry along large baggage. Other than that, the room is perfectly fine, well decorated and functional, and either we had very quiet neighours or the rooms are well soundproofed. The shower is quite good! Breakfast is very good with a well assorted options and never too crowded (at least in June). The pool is great, but do note that sunbeds are packed together, and since the sun shades are bolted to the floor, we may have to switch sunbeds from time to time if you want a bit of shade. If you plan on going to the beach, then you can simply use the gate by the pool, and in 2 minutes, you are there. Activities are basic, such as aqua fitness, but the animator there is quite good at her job. Kudos to her! If you plan to have lunch or dinner elsewhere, then do note that there aren't many options close by, and most likely you will have to walk towards the center of Cala Millor to find more options, and that is a 10m/15m easy walk. Would I stay here again? The answer is "yes" but since I do a lot of hotel hopping, I usually repeat the experience if it is truly outstanding. But it was the first Hipotel I stayed at, and this hotel chain did leave me with a good impression. Let me also thank Pilar whom I had the pleasure of talking with before arriving, and she promptly assured me that everything would be OK since I had a small booking problem shortly before arriving in Mallorca Have fun and enjoy life!

Loved this hotel. Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms. The staff were really friendly and professional. The facilities were great, entertainment every night. We were bed and breakfast and the breakfast buffet was lovely. We were spoilt for choice. We payed for dinner one evening and that was also excellent. We were only there for 5 days but it was very enjoyable. A ten to fifteen minute walk into the centre of Cala Millor but a couple of shops and bars close to the hotel.

From the minute you walk through the door there’s a warm welcome, great service and first class staff. Rooms very comfortable. Modern and immaculately clean. Love that air con can be low and quiet at night. Food was delicious. Always lots of choice and variety. The nights we stayed in for entertainment we enjoyed it, as you’d expect! Always beds available in sun or shade which was welcomed as it was hot!! It is a reasonable walk into town that we did several times. Fab cycle routes and plenty of bars to choose from. Would return in a heartbeat. Thanks to all of the staff for a brilliant holiday experience.

We’ve just got back from a fantastic stay at the Hipotels Baia Cala Millor. Every staff member we encountered were so friendly and hardworking especially the bar and restaurant staff, shout out to Erica on the entertainment team she’s so friendly and enthusiastic to talk to. The hotel is very clean and well looked after our rooms were kept so clean and tidy. We stayed in sea view rooms on the 5th floor and the view was absolutely stunning. We always found something to eat in the buffet as there’s always lots of freshly cooked meats and fish on an evening and a good selection for breakfast including yummy crispy bacon. The pool area is always kept very clean and there was always plenty of beds and no mad rush in the morning to save beds. The pool was so lovely we went in multiple times a day. The hotel location is nice and quiet just a short walk from the beach too but it was easy to catch a local bus or taxi to Cala bona when we wanted somewhere a bit more lively. We would definitely return to this hotel again.

Firstly let me say the hotel itself is beautiful and the room was gorgeous, but the staff are disorganised and it’s chaotic at times. Our first experience of this was at check in where one receptionist started to check us in, before picking up the phone midway( very rude)and then the other receptionist took over, however the first receptionist then kept butting in again, so the information we received was totally confusing. When we got to our room it was lovely. The room was very bright and surprisingly large. Immediately on your left was the bathroom, which although not huge was perfectly functional, with a large rainfall shower, wc and single vanity unit. The toiletries provided were also very nice. To the right as you enter was the wardrobe, which has a sliding door and full length mirror. Inside was a safe, a couple of shelves, 3 drawers, plenty of coat hangers and a luggage rack. Moving into the room were two very comfortable single beds, two bedside tables, and a table and comfy chair. Down one side of the room was a long shelf and underneath at one end two cupboards, one housed the fridge. We had also pre arranged with the hotel to have a kettle and cups provided which they kindly did. The balcony had a lovely view over the pool and the ocean, and was really quite large and private. The restaurant is where most of the problems were . Firstly the food is ok, nothing special it is just the normal run of the mill buffet food, luke warm but edible. The biggest problem is the staff, I don’t think they have enough,as every time we went down the tables were dirty and un made.Twice I had to go and get cutlery and napkins and set the table myself, having had to remove dirty napkins prior. Also the food was not refilled quickly. This could be due to the fact that we could never get in before 8pm as it was always so busy any earlier. The restaurant is open until 9pm. Which brings me onto my next issue with the restaurant, breakfast starts at 8am, which is a problem if you have an early tour or like us an airport pick up at 8am, you have to miss out on your last breakfast. Entertainment is on every night which is good and the bar waiter serving drinks at night is excellent, as are the cocktails. The location of the hotel is also excellent at the quiet end of Calla Millor, but easily reached within 10 minutes walk. One of the main selling points for me on this hotel is the pool area, whilst it’s not big, it is well set out and perfectly adequate, also there is no mad rush for beds, with plenty available all day. I would definitely stay at this hotel again but would most definitely not have half board.

It was a quick short break, and it was an excellent choice, adult only which is great for some peace and relaxing time. Great memories with family to remember. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable Staff are great and always happy to help. Food is great, always freshly made. As a location it’s great for what ever you fancy doing. We rented 4 -bikes from reception deck which they sorted for us. We managed to cover some good distance and explore near by towns and local food. Highly recommend

Short trip here with my family . Loved it , clean and new . Great little break . Food and drinks very reasonable.great location by the beach. We rented scooters from hotel had a day on them. Definitely recommend . Adults only so nice and quiet if that’s what you like

From arriving to leaving, the location and the grounds of this hotel we couldn’t want for anything. On arrival we were greeted by two lovely ladies Kiara and Simoneta in reception they couldn’t been more helpful with all our queries through out our stay. Staff in the restaurant, pool bar, cleaners all very friendly and helpful. Excellent variety of buffet food service, it catered to all guests with dietary requirements. The pool area was small but there was always chairs available whenever you wanted a chair through out of the day. The beach access from the hotel is excellent, just a little walk away from the pool. We were abit worried in being a adults only hotel it was going to be a certain age group that would stay there, but no worries about that as the age group was mixed from all ages. There is entertainment at the hotel, but we found that it finished quite early. You can walk on the promenade by the beach from just outside the hotel , it is a lovely walk to the main town, lots of light in the evening so we felt quite safe. The town itself it’s very clean lively without being too crowded and noisy. We most definitely return and recommend this hotel. Muchas Gracias

Great location, 1min from the beach. Pool with warm water. Wonderful room, big and always clean. But the most amazing is the staff. They are incredible! Especially at the pool bar where they always make sure you are happy. Special thanks to David who prepares amazing cocktails. Breakfast was also delicious. Ill come back.

What a golden nugget! One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. Most definitely deserves 5/5 for quality and for customer experience. From the lovely welcome at reception which included free upgrades to pool &sea view for all three rooms, to the fun in the sun with Erica & Aju from the entertainment team, to the waiters David, Rafael, Jose who made us laugh every time we were served, to the delicious meals and the servers who reserved our table for us every time- all exceptional. The beds were very comfortable with ample storage space in the bedrooms and a very good sized seating area leading from the bedrooms. The pool was lovely - very very inviting, being able to exchange pool towels daily if needed. The hotel was exceptionally clean and smelt delicious, especially so in the reception and toilet areas upstairs. We walked into Cala Millor for several of the evenings to walk off our meals , taking approx 20-30 minutes and was beautiful looking out over the beach (although said to be quite rugged so please be careful underfoot). However, also please be mindful if walking in the heat as we had most days at 35degrees so be prepared to feel very hot! Lovely shops (open until very late), restaurants and bars with live acts within Cala Millor itself. We would most definitely recommend this beautiful hotel which is set in a pretty area and would most certainly return. Thank you to all of the staff who made it the very best for us.

On arrival at the Bahia Cala Millor, the exterior looked clean and modern, on a cul-de-sac with two other hotels at the southern end of Cala Millor. Check in was friendly, informative and pleasant. My room was on the first floor and on initial impression a little small, and seemed to be a part leftover space in the corner of the main two bodies of the building. As a solo traveller, the room was workable, with adequate storage space with on-suite bathroom with large shower. A staple kettle was not in situ, but I asked at reception if I could have one added, to which they kindly accommodated. The hotel is quite, and 30 mins walk to Sa Coma, and 15 mins into the centre of Cala Millor. Staying on a half board basis, with both meals served in the same restaurant brought the main critique of the hotel. The design was not very forgiving, one at peak times, the number of clients being accommodated seems pushed to breaking point, in terms of table layout, and self service. The overall layout of tables seemed to have been crammed in to too small a space, making it incredibly uncomfortable to move without knocking the individual sat behind or aside. The staff were completely over-run at peak time dinner, trying to gain drink orders and clear tables. Gaining access to the various self service stations was a free for all, again at peak times. The overall food quality was fine, nothing exceptional, although I did notice that on Thursday, a Gala Dinner at extra cost is held, including tapa's and drinks in reception, and dinner in the buffet restaurant thereafter, the quality of food increased markedly. Which leads the question, why wasn't the quality at this standard every day. The pool area is fine, sunbeds soon fill late morning. The pool bar offers drinks and food which has certain limitations. The hotel seems to hold a rigid structure of the set menu's on offer are what's on offer! If a cocktail to your requirement is not on the menu, this cannot be made if requested. The main bar inner seating area seems very underutilised, maybe this space could be used to lessen the strain on the restaurant. The main pluses are the staff whom are to each incredibly friendly, hardworking and efficient. Overall a pleasant stay, in a nice resort. Design floors though need to be addressed.

We do not usually book package holidays, preferring to book flights and hotels independently for more flexibility. However, we hit the jackpot with this great hotel. Everything about the hotel was excellent. The rooms, communal spaces, the staff, the breakfasts, the entertainment - all top notch. The only negative (for some) would be the location. The walk to the centre of Cala Millor might be off putting to older, less able, holidaymakers.

Lovely high spec hotel, good service and food. Only downside is it's location which is on the very outskirts of Cala Millor so a lot of long walks to reach bars, shops etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool area clean. Beaches are great with lock boxes on the parasols for your valuables.

Fabulous week stay. Cleanliness was spotless, cleaners work hard in all areas of the hotel. Natalia in the restaurant was lovely and Rafael in the pool bar was very funny and helpful always had a joke with you. Beach so close and sea was lovely and warm especially if you walk 10mins further down pass the rockier area. No sunbed wars here we were always able to get a bed at any time of day. Entertainment team were very friendly but not pushy to get you to join in. The food choices in the restaurant are amazing especially gala night when there are too many to chose from. Only points going forward would be more choice in the drinks menu, more ingredient labelling in the restaurant but was told that they could provide this if needed and the evening entertainment would be better if was on a fortnight rota so if staying there for longer than a week you are not seeing the same acts. Also, maybe some water in the fridge for when you arrive if very late like we were. Well done to all staff for making us feel welcome, and hope to be back soon.
