The Inn at Union Square Reviews

This is the best small hotel in Union Square. It's affordable, the rooms are very nice—especially the bathrooms—and it's a friendly and cozy environment. Staff is super nice too. Just don't expect a bar or a social scene or a pool or fancy amenities. You get a great room though!

The hotel is located in downtown, from San Francisco International Airport, we took BART and got off from Powell Street BART station, walk less than 10 minutes to the hotel. The hotel front desk is very small, but the staff is always friendly . The room is spacious and tidy, bed is comfortable. We could not hear much noise from outside. The breakfast area is super small, only have 2 seats there , only grab the simple breakfast and go. Overall experience is great.

So, I just have to say that you just can't beat the customer service you'll get at The Inn at Union Square. They are all friendly and beyond accommodating. The Inn is clean and perfect for what I was looking for. It's in a great location and it really doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms and staff really make up for it. I really appreciate the word class service they provided. Thanks team!

Boutique hotel but mighty, good location in the city for walk. The place is very quiet at night to enjoy a good comfortable sleep. Highly recommended.

Staff was very helpful, very responsive, great location and close to various transportation.

Reception was very friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and cozy - do not expect any window views however. Location is also very convenient and safe in Union Square, with quick access to the cable car. Though it can be quite close to the Tenderloin neighbourhood a couple streets away, for those who are more wary.

The breakfast is rich, the service staff is very attentive, and the key is hygiene. The stay is very comfortable and I want to stay here again next time. I didn't dare to come here because I heard there were many homeless people. When I came here, I found that it was much better than I thought. We found a cheap parking lot, which cost no more than 40 dollars a day.

This hotel is located in the city center, with convenient transportation. The hotel has a simple breakfast, suitable for tourists and business trips, quiet, good environment, and overall very convenient

The location is excellent, just 20 meters away from Union Square, very safe and quiet. Although there are occasional police car sounds, this is a California feature. The room is of a good size, with windows and two sofas, and the king-size room has a fireplace. There is a public area to rest on the left side of the elevator on each floor. The vending machine is on the third floor, and the second floor is a buffet breakfast, with bread, coffee, milk, hot water, apples, oranges and bananas, which basically meet your needs. The deposit will not be fully refunded, and each room will have a cleaning fee of $20 per night, which will be deducted and returned by the original route. The overall cost performance is not bad, in line with the standards of a three-star inn. The photos were not taken, as described, only a photo of the morning sun shining into the room was taken.

USB and power terminals were placed everywhere, and I was very impressed by the hotel's consideration of travelers. However, the $20 breakfast that is being taken as breakfast is too simple, and even if it is $20 for two people, $20 for one person is too expensive no matter how you look at it.

The room is quite comfortable. The soundproofing is not very good. It's okay if you're not particularly sensitive. Sanitation is handled every day. There are very few breakfast options, only desserts, fruits, and coffee. It's very close to China Town. Ding Ding Station is just a few meters away.

The hotel is very nice and clean. And even though we arrived very late, check-in was no problem and the reception was very nice. I can highly recommend the hotel.

Close to the BART station, the hotel is clean and tidy, and the breakfast is mainly bread and sweets. It is located north of Union Square, and there are no homeless people around when going out in the middle of the night. The price is reasonable, but the $20 facility fee is a bit uncomfortable.
