Clean and comfortable stay. Overall satisfactory and inline with expectation. Very central location. Enough pockets of space to lay out gifts and stuff I bought.

Located at walkable distance from Powell Station. The queen bed room is smaller than expected. However, the stay was great. Will be great if the hotel can provide certain amenity suck as tooth brush , shaver etc for business traveller. Coffee and tea bags are not refill daily even I have stayed for 2 nights. Gym is great for workout and open for 24 hours. Breakfast is simple Japanese style and open only after 7am.

Very bad experience, the attitude of front desk sucks. Especially you have to pay extra Amenity Fee $40 per night and this is not INCLUDED when you book the hotel online. This fee WILL BE charged no matter what. NOT RECOMMEND!!!

We stayed at Hotel Nikko for two nights and had a wonderful experience overall. The service was excellent — staff were consistently friendly and helpful, even providing us with detailed instructions for our trip to Yosemite, which we really appreciated. The hotel amenities were great too — the pool and gym were clean, well-maintained, and a nice bonus for winding down after a long day of sightseeing. The location is central and convenient for getting around San Francisco. One thing to note: while the hotel itself feels safe and upscale, it’s located quite close to the Tenderloin district, which has a visible presence of homelessness and can feel a bit uncomfortable, especially at night. It's worth being aware of your surroundings when walking in the area. Overall, Hotel Nikko is a solid choice if you're looking for comfort, good service, and great facilities in the heart of the city.

Everything was above what we were thinking. The exterior of the building should be refreshed to match the wonderful interior.

Despite being in the US, the hotel staffs gave the very Japanese care feeling which was very nice. The hotel is quite old but properly maintained. The room is great with everything working. Comfy bed. Totally happy we booked this hotel

Loved it loved it loved it. The fact that you get the gym pool and sauna included in the resort fee is stellar. A great place for a 24 hour romantic rendezvous.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Nikko San Francisco! From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. I especially appreciated the quiet environment—it felt like a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. The location is fantastic—just steps away from Union Square and public transport, which made exploring San Francisco very convenient. The room is beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious. Located in a convenient spot only 5 minute walk from the underground train station that can get to the airport, and 5 minute walk to the street trams to Fisherman wharf and Pier 39. Staff are super friendly and gave us two free drink vouchers for my husband’s birthday celebration.

Room is clean but on the smaller size compared to other US hotels. Location is good with lots of eateries and restaurants within easy walking distance from the hotel.

Central location downtown close to Union Square. Nevertheless the neighborhood is slightly rough. Good service, but only 1 bottle of complimentary water for the whole stay. Rooms are clean, but a little small. Good views of the skyline in the higher floors. Staff very friendly.
