I was told by a person in the reception that I can't "sleep" in the garden when other people are having breakfast. I merely asked if I could go and sit in the garden for a bit as I was tired and I was informed by email previously that I could do it. Anyway, I left, came back in the afternoon to check in and was greeted by a very kind man in the reception. You can't cook in the kitchen. The doors don't have locks. No ceiling fan, 1 standing fan for 4 beds. Clean property, beautiful garden.

Whilst the location is a wee bit outside the centre of the city, the management and layout more than compensated for this. The owner Claudio was unfailing friendly and obliging. I stayed there for two nights and I found the place well maintained and clean There is a nice garden and courtyard and the hotel was modest in size which meant it was never too loud or hectic.

The Lodi hotel is in an old two-storey building without a lift, with modest furnishings (there wasn't even a table for working in my room), small and uncomfortable rooms, and above all in poor conditions. The windows are in poor condition and in winter it is therefore difficult to have the rooms well heated; for the same reason, the acoustic insulation is very poor and the room is therefore noisy, despite being located in a fairly quiet street. In my bathroom, in modest conditions, there was no bidet and the sink plug was missing. Breakfast is served late, from 8am, which is a problem for those traveling on business. It is not a buffet and it is very scarce: no savory food, only basic drinks (coffee, tea or cappuccino served in paper cups), croissant and biscuits and nothing else. Possibly the worst hotel breakfast I've ever had. If the hotel had hostel prices I would have found the experience fun and not unpleasant. But it costs like a real hotel! So the experience was also the worst value for money I remember in my life as a traveler. The only positive factor is the staff, very friendly.

The judgment must be based on the category so I am satisfied. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood with 1930s buildings with gardens, it is a very quiet hotel and all in all well connected. It is clean and tidy although some aspects are certainly affected by time (especially the sockets). The garden is enchanting with the rich Mediterranean vegetation. Breakfast with hot drink, croissant, juice, jam and toast. There is wi fi and TV in the room, shower towels and single-dose shower shampoo. There is no hairdryer. Above all, I would like to point out the sincere helpfulness and hospitality of the managers who make you feel at home. If I was looking for accommodation in the area I would definitely return because everything was as expected.

Pleasant space with older lines in a typical and calm neighborhood. Central area close to the metro and buses. Spacious and clean room. Friendly and willing staff. Hotel with very pleasant garden. Very good restaurants nearby. La Villetta and Tira e mole.

Not so close to the center, but close to metro and bus. Excellent staff, available and helpful. Rooms not very well insulated from noise (neighborhood and other occupants) but comfortable and clean, private bathroom. Good and generous breakfast, but not very varied. Excellent value for money and very pleasant overall.

I stayed at the Lodi hotel for several days to study at the design university in the Pigneto district. Excellent location very close to the faculty, very quiet and clean room, very friendly reception staff, always available for any request. Overall it was an excellent stay, the only flaw, if you really want to find a flaw, was the lack of a bidet in the bathroom. Definitely recommended.

POSITION Hotel located in the San Giovanni area, near the Lodi metro about 5 minutes away, as are the Coop shops and restaurants. Quiet, residential area. PARKING on the street, or for a fee. Very simple ROOM with private bathroom, clean Others with shared bathroom. Only shower towels, not changed for 2 days, no towels, and there is no hairdryer in the bathroom. without mosquito net, and air conditioning, equipped with a simple ancient and very noisy fan. So in case of very hot weather in Rome I don't recommend it, you will spend sleepless nights due to the heat and mosquitoes. BREAKFAST excellent for us, cappuccino, orange brioche. Kind and helpful managers but Mr. Claudio's flaw was that he did not inform us that the rooms had no air conditioning before confirming, given the great heat in Rome and certainly not with the negligible cost of the room, 125 euros plus tourist tax. I recommend this hotel only to those who know how to adapt, do not expect luxury, to those who do not have walking problems, to climb stairs, the rooms are located on the first and second floors, and for a very short stay. It would be excellent if the managers implemented small renovations inside the rooms, the furniture, there are some nice ones at IKEA, more sockets, accessories in the bathroom, the more well-kept garden, a simple gazebo is enough and it would be a 5 star hotel to inform customers better.

The area is quiet and the Lodi metro is ten minutes away. The staff is helpful, the rooms are a little old and minimal, sometimes you could hear noises coming from other rooms. Breakfast is basic (croissants, fruit juice and coffee) and can be had in the garden or inside. A b&b without too many pretensions at a good price.

The room was small and dated. The hotel does not have an elevator. The staff is friendly and gives good tourist tips. For breakfast you can only eat croissants. The hotel and rooms are clean. There are two computers with internet and the wifi works well.

I stayed at the Lodi hotel with my family, there were three of us in a triple room, the hotel is in a strategic position in the Tuscolano district, 200 meters from the Lodi metro stop, also very close to the Tuscolana train station... We overall we had a very good time, the hotel is evidently a structure from the 60s-70s which should be updated, the bar has been fixed in some situations, you can see it, you can perceive it inside the structure in the rooms, you can see it from the wooden doors from the accessories everything brings back to that period. This is not a problem at all, the room, like the hotel, was very clean, all painted, excellent cleanliness also regarding sheets, covers and towels, we were on the second floor which can be reached without the lift but with comfortable stairs, an absolute note for the owner manager, an exquisite person, very polite and kind, always ready to advise us on different situations in Rome, on transport and so on... I thank him very much because he made a real difference, we had night and breakfast, the same is served in a room near the reception, when the weather permits you can eat in the beautiful outdoor garden, breakfast with fresh and unpackaged croissants, fruit juices, milk, cappuccino coffee, everything you could ask for from a traditional Italian breakfast, served by a couple of guys who support the owner and are also very kind and polite. For the rest, as mentioned, we had a very good time, the room was quiet compared to the outside, we couldn't hear cars or anything else... the only thing I heard were the words of the conversations that came from the room next door late in the evening but this does not depend on the hotel but depends on the education of the people. I can tell you that when I go to Rome often, the Lodi hotel will certainly be one of my first choices because, as mentioned, it is in a strategic position in a great neighbourhood, the subway is very close to the Tuscolana train station and also the bus stop which we have used several times to go to the center of Rome. You spend the right amount, very honest price, it's a 2 star hotel we can't think of going to a big 4 star hotel otherwise you'll spend another amount and it'll be another treatment, A note in the bathroom the phone is missing bring it with you after all, as said, everything works 100%, so from what was written, looking at everything at 360°, I felt good and will definitely come back
