Walked out onto the balcony and we were met with these stunning views. The time that we visited (May) meant that it was slightly too cold to be out on the balcony for too long, but the views that we enjoyed out of the window were magnificent. When the first arrived the lady on the front desk was very friendly, and helpful. We had asked for a double bed and had been allocated two single beds. She quickly contacted the ladies from house keeping and they very kindly sprung into action to help rectify the situation. The housekeeping staff were nice and pleasant, and the location was just right for us to get out and about visiting some of the local attractions like the Kiwi birdlife park. The big plus about staying at the highview apartments was having a parking space. When you visit queenstown you'll soon find out that in some places finding a parking space is like gold dust.

Comfortable bed, pretty clean. No complaints to be honest.

The hotel is located about 15-20 minutes walk from queenstown.We had very few rooms and had to walk two flights of stairs with suitcases to reach the room. The hotel has no air conditioning and no windows so we can only open the sliding door of the terrace for ventilation. In the evening you will hear the voices of others talking. The only advantage is that there is a very little gym, so you can go to the gym on a rainy day without being so boring. Not recommended.

It was beyond my expectation. It was so beautiful. It faced the huge lake in Queenstown. The facilities were very good, including dishwasher, washing machine, bathroom, bedding, and the view. Most importantly, the price was much better than those hotels with direct beach access.

The hotel is clean, tidy and comfortable, with beautiful lake views, which makes people like it, but the price is not cheap. It is difficult to find staff after 5:00 pm, because they are off work! Please check the time to check in

It's about a 15-minute walk to the city center. Even if the reception is closed, you can check in by yourself, so there's no problem.

The room is comfortable and reasonably sized. It is on the edge of Lake Wakatipu with a nice view. There is a washing machine and dryer in the room. The room is clean, there is free parking, and you can walk to the town.

The hotel owner is very friendly and does not provide daily room cleaning service.
