We liked the hotel, it's clean, good Chinese breakfasts, warm in the room, nice, helpful girls at the reception, especially Li Livi, really helped us figure everything out, told us where the shops, bathhouse, parks, linen change, tea-coffee-kettle are, very convenient location of the hotel! The location was very good. It was very close to Tiger Stone beach which was a beautiful place. The streets around this hotel are very cozy, lined with pines. The hotel management was very cooperative and welcoming. The room was very comfortable. I only missed one thing and that was a connection between the lobby and the room. There was a disconnection between the two and it felt like I was living in an apartment room. Else everything was perfect. I recommend this hotel at 北戴河。

The Shangri-La hotel is a beautiful hotel located in a prime spot next to the beach. There is a great buzz and range of facilities at the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, however, there were a few frustrating things. I arrived after the check-in time but my room was not yet ready. To compensate for this, I was taken to the executive lounge and my request for a late check out was accepted. At breakfast the next morning, many of the coffee machines had run out of milk and it took a little while for the milk to be topped up.

Hotel location is very good. Just near of the centre and great seafood restaurants. Hotel lobby and restaurant looks a bit worn but rooms are very modern and clean. Using AC is challenging for foreigners but with translator app and after 15 minutes of brainstorming it will start to work as it should be :). Breakfast was Chinese bit tasty and staff was friendly.
