Opposite is the sea (Pingshui Bridge) and Tiger Stone Beach. There are many delicious restaurants nearby. I recommend Chaopan Renjia (Figure 5). The seafood is relatively fresh. I also had lunch at the hotel which was not bad (Figure 4). Xiaoyu at the front desk was enthusiastic in service.

The newly opened resort hotel this year, the rooms are very clean and make people feel comfortable and relaxed. Those who come by car are worried that it is not easy to park nearby. I didn't expect the hotel parking lot to be so big, and the female driver has no pressure! The attitude of the lady at the front desk is also very friendly. Although there is no landline in the room, I added WeChat to contact the hotel and everything I asked for was delivered immediately, very positive. The hotel has its own swimming pool, and the water quality is good, but it only takes a few minutes to walk to the beach, so I still choose to swim at the beach.

The front desk was very welcoming. We stayed for two consecutive days. The hotel is very conveniently located. You can go to Liuzhuang Night Market right outside. It is close to the road and very convenient to various attractions. I will stay here again next time I come for vacation

The hotel service is very good. I called in advance to communicate the check-in time. Because it is not so convenient to travel with children, I booked a pick-up service with the hotel. The pick-up girl and the driver arrived early and were very enthusiastic to help with the luggage and introduce the dining! Because I booked early, the room was available and I gave priority to the room I liked. The price of breakfast is also quite reasonable, with many choices. The room was clean and the service was perfect. They gave our three children three sets of sand digging tools. They were very considerate and thoughtful. We chose three rooms facing each other so that it would be more convenient to take care of the children and the elderly. The parking lot downstairs was crowded, so we contacted the hotel in advance. They gave us detailed instructions on how to enter the underground parking lot and were very patient.

This is not the first time I've stayed at this B&B. Last summer I stayed in Shangyue, which has upstairs and downstairs and a small courtyard where you can have a barbecue. This year, there are only my husband and child, a family of three, so we booked a small two-bedroom apartment to meet our needs. The room is in Phase 5 and is relatively new, so the hygiene is okay. I haven't tried to use the appliances except the TV and refrigerator, but since it's a new house, there's still a slight smell. Opening the windows and doors for convection has made it much better. It's cost-effective and it's a good choice to bring the children to Beidaihe for a few days.

First, I wold like to thank the staff for their excellent service, in particular, I would like the management to recognize 我的名字是Meijiaxue for her help. Staff speak minimal English but worked very hard to understand us and give us extra care. I would recommend that the hotel have a wechat account available for foriegners to contact the front desk for easy translation. 我的名字是Meijiaxue connected with us this way, via our request. She went out of her way to help book us a car, order food and buy products.
The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The rooms are stunning and feel very high end, luxury. The building is new and well maintained. Shampoo, soap and conditioner is a lovely lavendar and mint, natural product.
Upon arrival you are given tickets for on site alpaca feeding and DIY drawing activity. We only did the alpaca feeding which only took 5 minutes but was immensely fun.
Breakfast buffet was well done and more than enough food for only 24 rooms, primarily chinese food but some western dishes.
Location was the only downfall. I thought being only 15 minutes from downtown and the beach would be no problem for a taxi. However, it was almost immposible to get a taxi or Didi. There is nothing else in the area so there are no cars in the area. One night we wanted to go to dinner and waited an hour trying to get a car, before eventually giving up. The staff then helped us to order in food instead. If you are able to get a car, its only around 20rmb to DT, when we were able to get a car.
Overall, I would absolutely visit again and recommend, Ideally with a car.

WWidya AirlanggaWe stayed at this hotel during the Chinese New Year holiday and had a wonderful experience. The hotel feels new and modern, with a delightful fragrance throughout—especially in the hallways. Our favorite aspects were the spacious room and the stunning bathtub overlooking the ocean. The kids absolutely loved it!
The hotel's beachfront location is a major plus. Even though we visited in winter, we were lucky enough to experience snowfall on the beach, which felt surreal and added a magical touch to our stay.
The indoor swimming pool on the top floor is decent, offering great views, while breakfast was plentiful and varied. We particularly enjoyed the pastries section. The Chinese restaurant next to the swimming pool is highly recommended—perfect for when you don’t feel like going out, and the food was delicious. The in-room dining service was also excellent.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I’m already looking forward to returning in the summer to try their outdoor swimming pool, which was closed during winter.

AAditGreat location and great rooms including the fitness center. However, the staff were terrible. On the first day they gave us a room which had dirty tissue paper at the toilet area still there. After complaining they changed our room and while one of us were in the shower they mistanenly gave our room key to another guest who then tried to enter our room. They compensated us with free breakfast but such an error was not expected at a Marriott hotel in the first place. Very disappointing. It also felt like the staff didn't really care the whole time with a very emotionless style of talking. Unfortunate.

Environment: It is very close to the ancient town. It is convenient to go to the surrounding area for dinner and breakfast. There are fried rice, noodles, spicy hot pot, night market, KFC, and bakery.
Take a taxi (choose a ride) to Jiaoshan Great Wall, which is about 11 yuan for about 5 kilometers. It is difficult to take a taxi without adding a fare on the return trip, so we walked back.
Going to Lao Ma Tou is in the opposite direction of Jiaoshan Great Wall, so this hotel is probably between these two attractions.
Service: very good.

RRichterA true 5 Star experience. The room is top notch with a large window overlooking the sea. Service is outstanding in all categories. Breakfast is full and rich. The hotel dinner buffet is so extraordinary that I say you must try it at least once! We were amazed at the variety of dishes and the quality. Hotel location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk and you can have your feet in the sand or water. The Qinhuang Alley Food Street is also within walking distance or very short cab ride. This food street is very lively and fun to visit especially in the evening. Two other recommendations for things to do are Lao Long Tou (Old Dragon Head) which you can get to by cab. And if you are a fan of the Olympics you really should visit Olympic Avenue Park. Amazing relief sculpture wall over 300 meters long portraying Olympic history. Must be seen to be believed. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff and chefs at Grand Hotel Qinhuang for making our 4 night stay so enjoyable. Qinhuangdao is a wonderful city with so many different things to do and experience we hope we can return again.

The only aspect we feel needs to improve is the breakfast. The menu was always the same which made a longer stay experience a bit boring, not always looking forward to dining. Perhaps changing a few items in the menu every morning will make that exceptional experience. Otherwise, an amazing hotel-keep it up!

First, there was a receptionist at the first station. He was rude in giving instructions to the taxi driver. Second, the room was not so clean. The carpet is not tidy and the room smells cigarette. In general, Fisher Island Resort Hotel has good amenities. Good for the children who like playgrounds and activities. Swimming pools are plenty for young and old to enjoy. But they need to be careful because it's so slippery. This hotel.has a lot of activities to do. I will recommend this to the whole family.

MMLS755What an amazing place!!! We stayed at the Senzeyuan Hotel which is nicer than the other two hotels in my opinion. Service and cleanliness was excellent and the ladies at the front desk were so helpful and kind. Feng Ting patiently gave us information and quickly responded to any requests we had during our stay. We were very close to the beach and hot spring / water park. There are so many things to do! I went with my daughters and they had a great time. The show and beach party was their favorite! We enjoyed our dinners at the western cafe by the beach. I wish there were more restaurants and things opened but I understand not many people come to the beach in October.
I also want to thank the staff at the hot spring/ water park for being so caring. My daughter had a minor emergency and they were very concerned and even walked us back to our room. We felt very taken care of and will definitely be back!

GGuest UserThe hotel is indeed a bit old, but it can be seen that it was also a high-end hotel in those days. After all, the price-performance ratio is there. It is separated from the neighboring Aranya by a bridge and enjoys the same beach, but in the off-season, the whole beach is yours. The service staff is still very enthusiastic, and the housekeeper Chu Ting is very considerate ~ The breakfast is also very rich. This time I came to Aranya to watch a show. Next time, I will find a warm weather to come back and enjoy the sea breeze ~
