WWidya AirlanggaWe stayed at this hotel during the Chinese New Year holiday and had a wonderful experience. The hotel feels new and modern, with a delightful fragrance throughout—especially in the hallways. Our favorite aspects were the spacious room and the stunning bathtub overlooking the ocean. The kids absolutely loved it!
The hotel's beachfront location is a major plus. Even though we visited in winter, we were lucky enough to experience snowfall on the beach, which felt surreal and added a magical touch to our stay.
The indoor swimming pool on the top floor is decent, offering great views, while breakfast was plentiful and varied. We particularly enjoyed the pastries section. The Chinese restaurant next to the swimming pool is highly recommended—perfect for when you don’t feel like going out, and the food was delicious. The in-room dining service was also excellent.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I’m already looking forward to returning in the summer to try their outdoor swimming pool, which was closed during winter.

Hygiene: We are also satisfied
Environment: It is very close to the ancient town. It is convenient to go to the surrounding area for dinner and breakfast. There are fried rice, noodles, spicy hot pot, night market, KFC, and bakery.
Take a taxi (choose a ride) to Jiaoshan Great Wall, which is about 11 yuan for about 5 kilometers. It is difficult to take a taxi without adding a fare on the return trip, so we walked back.
Going to Lao Ma Tou is in the opposite direction of Jiaoshan Great Wall, so this hotel is probably between these two attractions.
Service: very good.

I am very satisfied with this trip. I highly recommend it. [Love] The only drawback is that the mattress in the room needs to be improved.

RRichterA true 5 Star experience. The room is top notch with a large window overlooking the sea. Service is outstanding in all categories. Breakfast is full and rich. The hotel dinner buffet is so extraordinary that I say you must try it at least once! We were amazed at the variety of dishes and the quality. Hotel location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk and you can have your feet in the sand or water. The Qinhuang Alley Food Street is also within walking distance or very short cab ride. This food street is very lively and fun to visit especially in the evening. Two other recommendations for things to do are Lao Long Tou (Old Dragon Head) which you can get to by cab. And if you are a fan of the Olympics you really should visit Olympic Avenue Park. Amazing relief sculpture wall over 300 meters long portraying Olympic history. Must be seen to be believed. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff and chefs at Grand Hotel Qinhuang for making our 4 night stay so enjoyable. Qinhuangdao is a wonderful city with so many different things to do and experience we hope we can return again.

You can watch the sea quietly, play bumper cars on pirate ships, go to the sea to pick up saliva, and the front desk lady and brother of the resort hotel provide attentive service. Except for this May Day, there are more people and less food, everything else is perfect

GGuest UserThe experience is very good. There are not only beaches but also hot springs. It is very suitable for the elderly and children to travel. The service is also super good, especially Feng Ting at the front desk, who is very enthusiastic. She also took the initiative to inform the activity time. If there is a problem, it will be solved immediately. The service is superb. I will go again next time.

GGuest UserThis trip to Tangshan was a temporary stop. I didn't expect it to bring me so many surprises. The hotel I chose didn't have much of a premium even during holidays. All the service staff were warm and caring. The hotel was well soundproofed and the light sleep was not affected. There are parking spaces in the front and back yards, and there are plenty of parking spaces. The breakfast buffet was so rich. When we booked the room, we chose to bring our own breakfast. If we bought it alone, it would be 68 yuan per person. Mineral water was placed at each elevator entrance for the convenience of passengers to take when going out. It was so considerate. When checking in, I saw that there were children and they would take the initiative to provide children's slippers and toothbrushes. The sour plum soup sent to the guests after check-out was so delicious. In short, it was a good experience. I will choose Fenghuangyuan to stay next time I come to Tangshan!

But the hotel has very little understanding of privacy of their guests. A hotel personal entered our room without an invite while I was dressing up, another hotel worker took our picture without asking, front desk manager keeps all foreigner passport pictures in her personal phone. Should not hotel provide working phone to its personnels if it’s required to keep personal information from guests on phones?k
Also hotel price does not match the service they are providing. The hotel room surfaces was in dust, and they do not clean after each visitor, we found pair of shoes from previous visitors.
