I stayed at Bubu Villa for my family trip - with my wife and 2 teenagers. Bubu Villa is well located at the end of Long Beach and it is one of the best places to stay in Pulau Perhentian. The staffs were very friendly, facilities were well maintained, the food (both the breakfast and grill-dinner) were great as well. I would surely stay here again and I do recommend Bubu Villa to others who are looking for a premium place to stay in Pulau Perhentian.

Nice hotel , perfect location and friendly staff , the breakfast is amazing and the kitchen staff prepare whatever you want . The furniture of the rooms is old.

I wanna give some information about the garden villa and ocean villa, garden villa is way better than ocean villa , it has private yard, it’s a little far from the lobby for more privacy and peace, but ocean villa is near the restaurant and it’s not private, the residence of gardens villa should pass by ocean villas to get to their room and it’s not even beach front, it doesn’t have private yard so the guests couldn’t open the curtains and use the view 🫣it should be half price of garden villa but it’s more expensive 😑 the toilet and bathroom doesn’t have door but has view to garden. The stuff are great. 👍🏼 The food is the best in the island but totally is average. Snorkeling with firus was amazing.😝 Everything is perfect, I highly recommend this villa.🫶🏻

Superb hospitality from ALL the employees. They are all super friendly and helpful! Booked a Garden View room and it’s just perfect. Room and surrounding compound is spacious, quiet and peaceful. Though the food prices are quite expensive compared to the other stays. Location is located at the end of Long Beach and the crowd is lesser here too.

Really cool little holiday villas different to just a regular hotel, very relaxing and economical friendly

Location wise good as it is located at the long beach. Tourist area. The most accessible to night attraction. This is among the best resort in Perhentian. However, it is quite over price compared to another hotel, resort or places. Other places with.the same rate, you can get a tip top facilities, view or services. Overall, this also an awesome place to spend your vacation. Enjoy!! C ya.. ;)

The room is large, with a courtyard, and a little bit of a Maldivian feel, but no hair dryer was found. The food is good, the taste is OK, the ingredients are fresh, and it is slightly more expensive than other nearby restaurants. The service is still quite enthusiastic, especially the on-demand food service staff for breakfast, who are very enthusiastic and proactively ask if there are any dishes that need to be ordered. Proactive service is precious and feels very good. However, the front desk service is perfunctory, seemingly enthusiastic but not solving the problem. After waiting for a long time, no one took the initiative to tell us that we can check in. We went to the front desk to ask, and a few chatty waitresses smiled and said that it was ok now. When we left, we missed the boat because the front desk arranged to wait for the water taxi. Obviously, we were very anxious and asked many times, but the front desk told us that there was no problem. The boat is often late. I asked them to call the shipping company to inform us that we have not boarded the boat yet, and I guess there was no communication. I was speechless. The service to customers should not be just superficial enthusiasm. I hope to really solve problems for guests instead of creating problems.

Wonderful Stay at Bubu Villa – Highly Recommended! I stayed at Bubu Villa on Perhentian Kecil Island for 4 nights and had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. shout out to Ryan, Emma, Ashik and the rest of Bubu Villa team. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety that made every meal something to look forward to. Thank you to the Chef. The villa is right on a beautiful beach, with clean sand and crystal-clear water—perfect for relaxing or swimming. The atmosphere was peaceful, casual and welcoming throughout the stay. If you're looking for a serene island getaway with excellent service and great food, I highly recommend Bubu Villa!

Breakfast is the best! We had tasty pancakes and french toast, there's a buffet with everything, sweet and savoury, and freshly made juices. Coffee was very good too. The staff is very kind and friendly, especially Waqar, the chef. The views are beautiful, you eat with the sea and white sand right in front of you. Totally recommended!

Am not a in house guest but The world cafe @ Bubu Villa always be my first priority to go for food whenever I’m in Perhentian island but I’m quite disappointed with the bad and unprofessional experience that I had encountered during my latest visit which is on 1/5/2025 dinner time. I had ordered a gnocchi prawn and Gin&Tonic. Everything was fine but yet until I received my Gin&Tonic . The Gin&Tonic served in a whisky glass which is not same as I ordered before whenever I having my meals at The WorldCafe. So I tried to reach out this matter to the floor staff because its not worth it with the price “RM45.00/glass” but the answer Mr Peter gave me is so unacceptable and doesn’t make sense at all. Mr Peter told me “ We used this glass because of ice?! If use the rock glass, the taste will faded when the ice melted” I tried to argue with him and finally he agreed to change it back to normal glass as before. BUT when he send the Gin&Tonic back to me, HE LEFT A WORDS. “YOU WILL KNOW WHY WE USE THE WHISKY GLASS” . So unprofessional the staff was . A big minus for me .

Charming, private villas close to the beach. Simple rooms kept very clean. Small gardens well tended. Direct access to the beach. Comfortable, if a little worn, sun loungers under rustic parasols. Dining and bar area overlooking Long beach. Staff always on hand, smiling and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Bubu Villas is a better choice than Bubu Resort for privacy, space and appearance.

We had 4 wonderful nights here in a family villa with our 2 teenage children. The resort was stunning and at the quieter end of Long Beach. Communication before we arrived was great organising our transfer from the airport out to the Island. The villa was well appointed and with 2 bedrooms worked well for our family. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. At breakfast the chef couldn't have been more obliging and I think would have cooked everything on the menu if we had let him. The French Toast was divine as was the coffee and the view straight over the beach was a great way to start the day. There were always plenty of lounges and umbrellas on the beach for villa guests. We ate one night at World Cafe and the food was really nice. The complimentary cocktail and canapés late afternoon were a lovely touch and the kids really enjoyed their mocktails. However we also liked to wander along the beach on the other nights and choose one of the local restaurant's where you literally dine on the beach. The two snorkel trips we did were fabulous and we saw so much marine life. A truly great stay for our family and hopefully we will make it back one day

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the beach villa which was really nice and clean. The outdoor bathroom is a nice detail. The breakfast is great. The chef makes perfect omelette and pancakes. We had a wonderful time. Ps. They make spritz for the complimentary evening cocktail even though it’s not on the menu.
