Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at GH Hotel Monzoni, which is well located for exploring the Dolomites, close to Passo Pordoi and Canazei. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the mountains. Although there was no kettle in the room, the male waiter in the restaurant was very helpful and was happy to help us every time we asked for hot water. The only minor drawback was that the water pressure in the bathroom was very low, which made it a bit difficult to take a shower. But overall, it is a good mountain hotel for a short stay.

We had a literally last minute booking at Monzoni in July for 7 days because of a mix up by our travel agent at another hotel. Our tiny room was right next to the noisy lift. It was incredibly basic - no drawers, no cupboards and no shelves, just open hanging space and a view from the window (see photos) of a tired play area which seems now be a building site. Dinner was very poor - unseasoned barley soup and a kebab of poor quality meat for me and inedible, poorly cooked pasta for our son. Breakfast was slightly better. We found a much better hotel and checked out after one night. Our travel agent was refused any refund from Monzoni for the following days. Given that, and the very poor accommodation, I really cannot recommend this hotel at all.

The hotel is located on the main road, only if you are lucky you can park in front, otherwise you can leave, the nearest parking is only 500m away. The interior renovation is neither good nor bad, but it aspires more to 2 stars than 3. If you are lucky you can have a room with a lift, otherwise dragging your luggage along, finally after a tortuous path and two flights of stairs, you will arrive in the room. The one assigned to us is small, I recommend you go into the bathroom alone because two people risk getting stuck, and it is probably forbidden to bring a beauty case because there is no surface to put it on. If you use the shower from above, frozen drops fall. All in all, however, the bed is comfortable and you sleep well, the cleaning is thorough, but do not pay attention to the stained bedspread which, according to the receptionist, has just been washed. If the room is saved, you will have a nasty surprise at dinner: tired and hungry, you can't wait to taste the excellent Trentino cuisine but the nightmare has just begun... pre-cooked pasta that arrives undone in a soupy sauce, dumplings in cold broth still frozen inside, fish fritters with an unappealing smell and so on. Maybe I'm not the best person to comment on the food because I have a limited amount of food, but there were 10 of us and one evening part of the group preferred to dine out rather than repeat the experience. It's a real shame because the staff is really kind and goes out of their way to make up for the disaster in the kitchen, where there are certainly staff problems but also poor quality of raw materials. Sufficient breakfast (but what happened to the scrambled eggs that turned green?). Oh, I forgot: the property's policy requires, despite the deposit, the advance payment of the bill, I think because otherwise no one would ever pay the cost of half board.

Terrible experience! Never seen such a small room! Non-existent wardrobe, total lack of shelves or surfaces. The mattress was very uncomfortable, very hard and with springs that entered directly into the ribs, we could not sleep a wink, also because the rooms are not soundproofed at all, you can hear everything, conversations, neighbors' TV and much more. Blind bathroom with a fan that did not work. The staff proved to be indifferent and unfriendly.

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana dove il tempo non è stato clemente ma l’hotel Monzoni con il suo fantastico personale ci ha regalato una vacanza da sogno. Una camera meravigliosa con vista su montagne incredibili, la colazione eccellente e la cena di ogni sera un vero tributo al gusto e al sapore. Abbiamo soggiornato dal 9 settembre al 15 settembre per un totale di 6 notti, io e il mio compagno e i nostri 2 figli una di 2 anni, e l’altro di 3 mesi. Siamo partiti un po’ titubanti leggendo le recensioni dell’hotel che poi in realtà ci ha stupito in maniera totalmente positiva. Partiamo dalla camera nuova, totalmente ristrutturata spaziosissima e molto pulita, dove ci hanno fatto trovare anche il lettino per la bimba. Estrema flessibilità sugli orari sia per la colazione che per la cena quest’ultima disponibile fino alle 21 e 30 (una vera rarità nella zona). Cucina ottima, varia ed abbondante, ogni sera i nostri complimenti allo chef! Piscina nuova e ampia. Personale di sala, ricevimento e cucina estremamente cordiale e disponibile nel soddisfare le nostre richieste, tutti estremamente affettuosi soprattutto con i nostri bambini, tanto che ci sembrava di stare in famiglia. Serata Garibaldi pazzesca! Con piatti tipici e non, con buffet esagerato! Colazione variegata. Che dire? Speriamo di tornare prestissimo! Grazie a tutto lo staff ma veramente tutti tutti troppo gentili e disponibili anche le ragazze delle camere che ci lasciavano sempre tempo a disposizione per uscire dalla camera ( impresa non facile in 4 di cui 2 bambini piccoli). Grazie anche a Maria che si è affezionata tantissimo alla bambina che è stata trattata da tutti come una piccola principessa anche dal direttore super disponibile e attento. Torneremo sicuramente!

ESPERIENZA FANTASTICA!!! Ho trascorso con la famiglia 4 giorni in Val di Fassa, INDIMENTICABILI!!! Struttura totalmente ristrutturata, Camera ampia, spaziosa, luminosa , ma soprattutto MOLTO PULITA. Colazione a buffet, abbondante e varia. Le torte? BUONISSIME!!! Abbiamo cenato solo due sere perché abbiamo scelto la formula B&B. Ottima la cena, menu territoriale e con prodotti di qualità. Ma la differenza vera la fa Lo staff, competente, professionale e sempre disponibile. COMPLIMENTI. TORNEREMO!

Hotel molto bello e accogliente, ottima cucina, colazione ricca e gradevole. Questa sera al ristorante c'è stata la serata italiana, un tour culinario tra le regioni della nostra penisola con vari piatti tipici ben presentati e molto buoni. La posizione dell'hotel è al centro del paese ma al tempo stesso vicino agli impianti di risalita. Un plauso al personale, gentile e sempre disponibile.
