The hotel is located in the Guangdong-Macao Cooperation Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park, covering an area of about 62,000 square meters. It is adjacent to Macau and only one stop away from Hong Kong. The construction of the hotel integrates the local natural environment and the concept of travel and repair, and creates a private physical and mental retreat with an urban oasis. The park is surrounded by green plants, and various medicinal plants are planted for appreciation. The hotel has guest rooms and villas, including 120 standard rooms, 76 two-bedroom suites, and 18 villas; it is equipped with two restaurants, a full-time restaurant with delicious food - Shiji restaurant, and a Chinese restaurant with local characteristics - Chunfeng and Sanfeng meeting rooms; the prestigious Angsana Spa and exciting events.
"This time I chose to stay at this hotel because the price was cheaper than usual, costing about HKD 530 per night after cashback. I wanted to sleep in, so I didn't opt for breakfast.
The hotel is located in Hengqin, which is a bit remote. There are no restaurants or shops nearby. However, getting around by taxi in Zhuhai is quite convenient; it only costs about 20 yuan to get to the Hengqin market, so the location wasn't a major concern.
The room was about 900 to 1,000 square feet. Upon entering, there was an entryway, a bathroom with an electronic toilet, and a bathtub. Further in was the bedroom, featuring a large double bed, a sofa, and a desk. There was also a balcony with a rattan chair outside. I only sat there for a short while due to the humid weather.
My room was on the 11th floor of Block 5, and golf carts provided shuttle service between the lobby and the building. The balcony overlooked other hotel buildings and a nearby construction site, so the view was mediocre.
The room was clean, and the air conditioning was excellent. The only minor issue was that the TV was positioned against the wall, so I had to turn sideways to watch it while in bed.
Even though the balcony window was closed, I was woken up by the noise from the nearby construction site around 8 AM. This is something to be aware of.
In summary, this hotel is designed like a resort, offering turn-down service. The rooms are spread across different buildings, connected by golf carts from the lobby. If this resort had sea views, the price would likely double. However, after experiencing the environment in Hengqin, next time I'll choose to go back to the Gongbei or Xiangzhou areas, where dining and entertainment options are more convenient.
