Supernova - Hostel & Café Reviews

This place is so relaxing to stay in! It’s a super nice little cafe with the rooms in the back through locking doors for easy access and security. The service is mostly seen outside your room as there isn’t much to be serviced inside, either way they were very friendly and helpful with menus in different languages and all that. The facilities for our room were all you needed, our “bunks” being cubby’s in the wall with lots of space and a locking compartment below for bags or valuables. The bathroom is tight compared to what I was used to in Canada, but it has your toilet, sink, and shower. What more do you need? Lastly the food was very very good, this was our first stay on our trip from Canada so maybe it’s normal here but it is so fresh and simply tasted awesome! Highly recommend!

Room is dirty, sleeping cave are disaster, no safety measurement . Danger to go up n come down. How the authorities approved the Beds. Highly not recommend. Thank you Regards

Very comfortable hotel, there is a large lounge area on the second floor for rest, the kitchen is also quite convenient with a water dispenser and all the equipment. Good location, highly recommended

Good but they don't have common spaces like kitchen or refrigerator

The location is not bad, not far from the subway station, it takes about 5-6 minutes to walk, but the road in Porto is more rugged. There is a cafe on the first floor, which supports visa cards, but I failed to swipe the international visa card issued by China, but fortunately Google Pay can be used. Coffee, croissants, etc. are provided in the morning. The room I booked has a toilet and shower, and a small balcony where you can sit and drink tea, watch the computer or chat with others, or enjoy the sky when the weather is good. I stayed in the room for 2 days, and I prepared eye masks and earplugs myself, otherwise it might affect the quality of sleep. There is also a toilet and a washbasin outside the off-season. Although it is a bunk bed, the bed is not high, and it is not too difficult to get on and off the upper bunk. It just seems not very strong, and the metal bed sometimes squeaks. There are many people who come to drink at night. If you travel together, the downstairs also serves as a bar.

The service attitude of the front desk is very good. The location of the hostel is also very good. It is very convenient to the attractions.

It was very good. And the hotel staff was very kind, so I enjoyed my stay, and I was very satisfied with the restaurants they recommended.

Very clean everywhere. It's a pity that there isn't even a kettle and a refrigerator. Their presence would have been a big plus.

Cheap

It's a 10-person dormitory, but the bathroom and sink are spacious, so it was comfortable to use. The price is also very good. There is occasional noise from the upper floors, but I can tolerate it for this price.
