I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Nikko San Francisco! From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The staff made me feel genuinely welcome—special thanks to the front desk team for their hospitality and efficiency during check-in and check-out. The room was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable, with a plush bed and thoughtful touches like soft robes and quality toiletries. I especially appreciated the quiet environment—it felt like a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. In Union Square, the street with Macy's and Hop on Hop off... on the other street there is the Cable Car stop, close to Sephora, Ross. There is no breakfast, but they provide us with a 20% Mason cafe discount voucher, which is divine and the best breakfast on the trip so much so that we didn't even want to try others. Hotels in SF are expensive and old. but it was very comfortable, practical and friendly staff

Recently had a fantastic 3 night stay at Stanford court. The staff and service was impeccable from the moment I arrived and I was able to check in an hour early. I was also, to my surprise, upgraded to a partial city view room. The room itself was huge with everything you would need and very clean. The big bed was super comfy. On my last night I ate in the bar/restaurant. I cannot recommend the burger highly enough. It was messy, but delicious!!! The location is perfect. It’s in a lovely area with lots of beautiful buildings and views down the crazy steep streets. Also the old style trolley car stops right by the hotel. All in all I highly recommend Stanford court.

Very good location. Fisherman wharf is 2 steps away with all its places. Very expensive parking - $75 per day for valet (only one option), in-n-out. The car is delivered quite fast, but both time I asked for it it was not within promised 10 minutes. Resort fee (there is a resort fee, pay attention while booking) includes $15 per day restaurant credit, coffee on the morning and free marshmallows in the evening (they have nice fireplaces in the courtyard, but pretty busy). Water refill station also present. Room (junior suit) was quite spacious. It was clean, only bathroom had small ”issues”. Safe and fridge in the room were very handy. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was a guard in the evening in front of the main door - nice option for San Francisco.

The management of this hotel is extremely arrogant and ruthless. Three weeks before our check-in date, we applied for a cancellation through the platform due to a possible trip rescheduling because of a physical injury. I prepared a hospital diagnosis of a fracture and a rest certificate, but despite multiple communications, the hotel still refused to cancel. Other hotels, however, helped us with the cancellation. Upon check-in, the hotel charges a parking fee of $45 per day, but you can only park until 2 PM the next day — no matter how late you arrive. In summary, we had to stay at this hotel, and the experience was as anticipated; perhaps their practices are legal, but they are heartless — showing no understanding, care, or service spirit towards guests.

Good location with bus stop next door and walking distance to a number of eateries. However the interior is looking a bit tired, the lift creaks and gets stuck and there is poor noise insulation between rooms and the corridor. Inconsistent with the supply of or lack of shower caps, soap, wipes etc. Back end of the hair dryer was a bit of a hazard. No fridge in room.

XXunxiangle 2024.10.08
This is the smallest Ritz-Carlton I have ever stayed in. The sensor setting of the refrigerator in the room of the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco is really too small. Location: The location is near the red line of the cable car, which is the place where the Internet celebrity punches in. Just turn right and climb a steep slope when you leave the hotel. Room facilities: This is the worst Ritz-Carlton I have ever stayed in. The room should be renovated. It is quite small. The overall layout is just average. And I was given a very far room. From the elevator to the room, you have to walk for a long time. If you push the box, it is very strenuous. The drinks and alcohol in the room are also set up with sensors one by one. The waiter also has to explain that if you take it out for more than a few minutes, you will have to charge money. Is this the layout of the Ritz-Carlton? ? ? The bathtub and shower area are not separated. They are together. Bad review. Breakfast: Breakfast is not self-service, but ordered. There are few choices and the price is amazing. Unexpected. Gym: The gym is still well-equipped and open 24 hours a day. Value for money: The overall value for money is average.

GGuest UserVery expensive for a B&B. Nice spot in the Castro/ Mission district near Dolores Park. Well-maintained & reasonable management. Lots of stairs to go up into main house lobby — wrought iron gates with intercom to buzz to get entry into property. Try to get a room in the older main house to minimize stairs! No AC. They have limited parking spots behind the two B&B houses (access from Dorland St) for US$35./day plus tax which is a steep price. Make sure u book a parking spot in advance. Beautiful garden courtyard in the back. Sadly we never got to use it. Try to get a room that faces the other “house” or the backyard - quieter. We had a front room Deluxe King Room 36 which looked nothing like the sample room photos (only one Room 24 w courtyard view, sofa, coffee table). We got a smaller room approx 290sf vs what we paid for 32sq.m, 344sf, no closet just small armoire to hang a couple of things, no sofa, no coffee table, no balcony. They were kind enough to give us a refund for the price difference between the Deluxe King we booked & the Standard King we got. Had to ask for them to vacuum room. Found tissue under headboard/bed, dusty. Not the kind of room you would want to spend much time in —teeny tiny TV, faced front noisy street with electric bus passing by. No screens in windows so had to close windows at night to keep critters out. Bed was ok. Pillows were synthetic & lumpy. View was of electric lines & school across the street. Beware some electric outlets. One was burnt out. Breakfast was repetitive but nice to eat in a lovely breakfast room or outdoor deck. Hard-boiled eggs, muesli, fruit, muffins/ carbs, American coffee, juices. Fortunately SPRO café was next door if you need a great cappuccino or chai latté! Didn’t get a chance to enjoy their wine & cheese. Contact them on WhatsApp +1 (415) 297-6891 to discuss rooms available.

MMaisonGBe sure to view the Hotel Caza website for the extensive list of additional fees associated with the booking (destination fee, parking, etc). The prices are very transparent on the site and aren’t as clear booking through third party. This hotel has incredible customer service! The front desk ambassadors are warm and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Vanessa and her colleague truly provide world class customer service. She provided 10-15% off coupons for restaurants on the pier. We had a fantastic time for my mother’s birthday in San Francisco and it would not have been the same with another hotel. The location of Hotel Caza is near Fishermans Wharf. It is walkable to many attractions such as the Coit Tower, Ghirardelli’s, the piers, etc. There are an abundance of great restaurants nearby. We had a delicious brunch next door at “Eight am” cafe. Other attractions are a bit further out and require transportation such as Golden Gate Park, Sausalito, and redwood forests. This is a very family oriented hotel. There are many games in the lobby for children and adults. Bicycles to peruse the city are provided on a first come first serve basis each morning. The swimming pool is on the smaller side and always has kids in it. The evening cookies are packaged and not freshly baked. The lobby has an overpowering smell of perfume. Overall, we had an amazing time at this hotel and highly recommend it for family vacations!

GGuest UserThe location is very good, the service is nice, and the staff is very polite. The breakfast is quite rich in the United States, with meat, milk, eggs, bread, fruits, and a wide variety of drinks. The only thing I am not satisfied with is the poor sound insulation. GGuest UserAll of the staff seemed really nice. From the moment we arrived and had a friendly greeting from the valet parking worker, to the ladies that we interacted with in reception. The room was nothing special, but by that I mean it had no outstanding features, or any distinguishable traits that would separate it from other hotels The concierge was friendly and helpful, and was very useful in helping us to plan our activities. And the hotel is in a good location to get to the pier or do the 'big bus' tour. But here's the downside. The gym is small, had no steriliser, or wipes, even though one of the rules stated in the gym is to wipe down the equipment after use. And the overall impression of the gym is that it could do with a really good clean from top to bottom. Added to that there's the washing machine and tumble dryer located in the gym. Yes that's right, in the actual gym. Now we were very happy when we read about the hotel having washing machine facilities, but we were slightly surprised at it's location. Another thing was the air con. We stayed in September and although the weather for the season was just starting to cool down after the summer, it was still fairly warm. The air con looked as if it had been fitted in the seventies and made a sound as if it had been running non stop ever since then. It was so noisy that we had to turn it off completely at night time and at different times during the day. On a final point we received news regarding the death of my partner's daughter, which meant that we had to cut our whole vacation short including this leg of the trip. We informed the front desk that we would be checking out one day early. We were not expecting a refund, for that day, but after being told by the member of staff that the 30 dollar a night 'destination fee' would be waived for the night that we were not going to be there, we later found out that this fee had still been added to the final bill. We still have no idea what a 'destination fee' is, but to be charged it when we weren't even at the hotel was extra galling. And what was also strange was the fact they didn't even ask why it was that we had decided to cut our stay short? Would you not be interested to know whether something was wrong with your customers stay, and to know why they had cut their visit short?? A bit of a poor end to a otherwise 'ok' stay at the hotel.
