SyazwanHWe had a fantastic stay at Sunway GRID! The room was very nice, clean, and well-designed, making our stay super comfortable.
Our kid absolutely loved the built-in playground. It was a huge highlight for us and kept the little one entertained throughout! Getting complimentary snacks and drinks was a lovely extra touch that made us feel right at home.
On top of that, parking was super easy and stress-free. The location is ideal if you're planning a trip to Legoland, as it's just a short drive away. Highly recommended for families looking for a convenient and fun getaway!

HazirahHalimLocation: Near Legoland and not too far from CIQ. Best if you’re driving, but Grab is available (just fewer drivers around, so book in advance). No shops or eateries nearby. You’ll need to head to Mall of Medini or order via Grab.
Cleanliness: Cleaner than many other apartments I’ve stayed in. Just minor dust on the diffuser and bedsheet, but nothing that affected comfort.
Service: Excellent service, with fast replies on WhatsApp (except after 10pm). Would be great if there was a drying rack, but amenities like iron, hairdryer, hangers, and even a water dispenser were provided, which was really thoughtful.
Facilities: Gym and pool were clean and well-maintained. Vending machines in the lobby were also convenient for quick snacks and drinks.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay with great service and facilities. Very convenient for those visiting Legoland.

MelissaStepping out of the elevator, a strange odor immediately hit me, and it lingered all the way into the room. It wasn't exactly a bad smell, but it was unpleasant and made the air feel stuffy. The room wasn't large, with one double bed and three single beds, making it look quite cluttered. I could have overlooked the mess if it were just about making do, but what I absolutely couldn't stand was the cleanliness. The toilet bowl had yellow stains, clearly unscrubbed, and the shower floor was also grimy. There were bits of debris and hair on the carpet, and even the glass was dirty. It was disgusting; all I wanted was to get through the night and leave as soon as possible. On a positive note, my eight-year-old loved the bunk beds, which offered some emotional value, I suppose.

Nurul OsmanFirst time staying at this hotel. Away from the busyness of the town area. It's a quiet town and nothing much can be done except for those that having plans to Legoland. They have a mini Medini Mall. Full with eateries and a supermarket.
Smooth check in and grateful to be given a late check out. A little bit rub down cause it's residence but for a night stay, no complains. Rooms comes with kitchen, microwave, big fridge and utensils.
Will definetly come again for a short stay.

Guest UserSpacious, family‑friendly layouts: Suites with 2 bedrooms, full kitchens, washer/dryer—great for extended families or staycations. Convenience of location (Hard Rock Café downstairs, close to Legoland).
But the sofa really needs an upgrade for better comfort and cleanliness. A newer or firmer set would really improve the guest experience.

Guest UserCheck-in was a breeze, and they held our luggage, which was super convenient. The room itself was comfortable. The rooftop infinity pool and sky garden were an amazing surprise! The only downside is that dining options in the immediate area are limited, with just one mall nearby for food.

Lam BaiFirst off, the location is quite remote for Johor as a whole, mainly because the Persiaran Laksamana area is newly developed. However, it's very close to Puteri Harbour International Ferry Terminal, which makes it ideal for travelers arriving by ferry.
Note that the detailed map location on Trip.com is incorrect. The correct address should be Almas Suites, Persiaran Laksamana, 79100 Iskandar Puteri, Johor Darul Ta'zim.
Due to this location, if you plan on frequently traveling to and from JB, you'll need to factor in potentially high transportation costs (more travel time and higher Grab fares).
If you opt for a high-floor room, you'll generally have a good experience with a nice view from the open balcony. However, the balconies are quite close to each other, so you might catch a glimpse of what your neighbors are up to! 😉
No rooms provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, and you'll need to bring your own shampoo and shower gel.
If you choose to eat in the room, you'll quickly discover it attracts tiny ants. It's best to dine at restaurants outside and then return to the room to relax.
During your stay, no room service is provided as it operates as a self-service apartment.

Anonymous UserThe place isn't new, and the interior isn't particularly beautiful. It looked decent in the evening, but less so during the day. There was a smell of cigarettes, but thankfully the fan and air conditioning helped to get rid of it. The view was splendid. Downstairs, there are cafes and shops. Nearby, there's a very pleasant spot, the port, which you'll need to take a taxi to reach. The hot plate for cooking wasn't working.

McainI had a really pleasant and comfortable stay at Ramada Hotel Johor Bahru, especially in the East Wing room. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a cozy and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day. Everything was neatly arranged, and the bed was very comfortable, giving me a good night’s rest throughout my stay.
What I appreciated the most was the overall cleanliness and attention to detail in the room. The facilities were in good condition, and everything felt well taken care of. The hotel environment itself was calm and welcoming, which added to the whole experience.
The staff were also friendly, polite, and helpful whenever needed, making the stay even more enjoyable. Service was smooth from check-in to check-out, which I really value when staying at a hotel.
Overall, I would say Ramada Hotel Johor Bahru is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Johor Bahru. The East Wing room in particular is definitely worth it. I would happily come back again and recommend it to others.
