Posted onAug 11, 2026|Club Twin Room
Anonymous UserStayed at Renaissance Permas Jaya and overall had a good experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the pasar malam and there are plenty of eating places nearby, which makes it easy to find food without travelling far.
The twin beds were a highlight â they were very big and comfortable, with plenty of space for two people.
One downside is that the lounge can get very crowded, especially during peak hours. We arrived just about 5 minutes late and there were already no seats available, which was quite disappointing.

JesslynNgWe booked a Premium King Room for one night. The room was clean and came with basic amenities such as disposable slippers, toiletries, TV, small desk for work, dining / coffee table for two, safety box and mini fridge. Thereâs also plenty of parking space just outside the hotel, and a nice western food store within walking distance.
Check-in was at 3 PM and check-out at 12 PM. The front desk operates 24/7, and the staff were friendly and able to speak both Malay and English, which made communication easy. Thereâs also cctv installed along the walkway outside the room.
However, there was no hair dryer provided in the room.
The biggest downside was the room location. We were given the last room facing the main road , and it was extremely noisy. We could clearly hear cars and motorcycles passing by throughout the night. I only managed to fall asleep around 4â5 AM due to the constant noise.
Overall, the room was clean and comfortable, but the road noise seriously affected our rest. If you're a light sleeper, we recommend requesting a room away from the roadside.

RachellseOverall, my 3-night stay was pleasant. I especially enjoyed the family suiteâthe king-size bed and pillows were very comfortable. However, I expected a basic standard, which is why I couldnât give a full rating.
Cleanliness:
There were a few issues that needed attention. I encountered a small lizard, a baby cockroach (which I had to handle), and a spider. The bedsheets and rug had visible stainsâwhile these may be hard to remove, it's not acceptable even for a 3-star hotel. Additionally, a used, damp (but dried) toilet paper roll was left alongside a new one, which should not happen. Iâm not particularly fussy, but others might have rated this much lower. The toilet seat was loose and misaligned. The towel hanger was loose as well, so we were careful not to hang all our towels there. The basin tap was also loose.
Service:
Requests for a writing chair and a hairdryer took quite a while and were only resolved after I spoke to a housekeeper the next morning. Although the room accommodates four guests, we were a group of three and only received two cups, so we had to take turns. There are also only two non-standard, unprofessional hangers provided. They should supply four. I did not use the shampoo or shower gel, so I cannot comment on those. Maybe a brief note should check on our day since we are staying for three nights. This is a suggestion to improve.
Location & Amenities:
There is a laundry shop conveniently located directly across from the hotel. Parking is available on site, though you may need to park behind the building. It would be helpful to have a designated drop-off slope at the front of the hotel.
Food:
The café serves a good chicken nasi lemak. The curry gravy is rich and flavorful, though it would be better if there were more side dishes to complement the rice.
The overall experience helped offset the shortcomings.
Value for Money: 3/5
Until another review for the shortcomings are rectified, I will consider other accommodation

Anonymous UserThe room is clean and big. The location is close to many good foods and near the aeon supermarket. Although it is right beside a busy road, the soundproofing is superb! Will visit this hotel again when i visit permas jaya again.

Nur HudaLast minute booking due to the jam at causeway. Randomly tried to find a place to stay the night. The front desk staff an Indian lady is very helpful and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a care pack that consisted of mask, nice scented candle, bath bomb, and some others essentials. It wasn't a fancy pack but I was impressed by their service. I was also very impressed that they actually had a bathtub! It was too late to utilize it as we were there at 11pm. But good effort! Hotel room was also very clean, bedsheets were super clean and frgamy too! However I didn't feel safe with the location. This is not the fault of the hotel at all of course. Just that while we arrived, there were a few motorbikes who kept revving past and they were shouting and creating a ruckus. So I felt a big unsafe to leave the car there. There is option to park the car within the hotel premises but comes with a strange request to leave the car keys with them đ
so I just parked in the public carpark which felt...a bit risky. So if you are very worried then this hotel may not be for u.

Guest UserBest! Very clean and comfortable. Even though the room had no window, it didn't feel stuffy. Breakfast was good, even if the menu was standard. I especially liked the sandwiches. Parking was easy and a guard was nearby. God willing, I will stay here again when needed.

Anonymous UserHotel air con is just cool not very cold type. Bed is so so only. Hotel provide toothbrush kit, coffee, tea and bottled mineral water. Towels ok. Bed cleanliness can be improved cos I had an allergic reaction to the bedsheets. Lips became swollen after contact the sheets đ. Also the pub nearby is very noisy till around 3 to 4am in the morning so quite difficult to sleep. Breakfast was good though. The food although small serving but tasty and front desk staff is friendly and helpful.

Ash AzrinHappy to have found this hotel/apartment for a staycation. Itâs within walking distance to popular seafood place in Senibong
The room is spacious and tastefully designed. Living room has a big tv and generally the place is windy.
Rooms are clean, bed is comfortable. Bath tub is big.
Unfortunately since itâs a staycation, didnât really has the chance to use the bath tub.
I will be happy to return to this hotel/apartment if I plan to eat seafood at Senibong again
Thank you
