Hotels with Parking in Yugawara

Tucked into the foothills of Hakone, in a quiet village along Yugawara Parkway, we found this small villa surrounded by greenery and the sound of a nearby stream. But what stayed with me wasn’t the villa—it was us. The kids ran straight to the deck, reaching out to catch the falling cherry blossom petals as they drifted onto the water, arguing over who caught the most before they slipped through their fingers. Someone left the door open, letting the cool air drift in. By evening, we were all gathered upstairs, half-talking, half-listening to the steady rhythm of the stream below. No one reached for their phones. Later that night, we slept with the windows open. You could hear the water, constant and calming, like it had always been there. It’s strange—places fade, but moments like this don’t. The quiet, the laughter, the feeling of having nowhere else to be. That’s what I’ll remember. 

Excellent experience at Fujiya Ryoukan in Yugawara! Please update the following on trips.com: Address is wrong. It took me up the mountain 10 miniutes away from the Ryoukan. Please use address as seen on google maps: Japan, 〒259-0314 Kanagawa, Ashigarashimo District, Yugawara, Miyakami, 字橋上557. Otherwise you should be able to find it by searching ”Fujiya Ryoukan Yugawara”. Also please edit check out time. Check is not 10am but 11am.

The meals are exquisite, the room is quiet and the service is intimate. The red leaf room is just raining. Listening to the rain lying flat + drizzling in the hot spring = floating life stealing half a day.

This is my first time to experience this kind of pure Japanese-style hotel. Although I only stayed there for one night in a hurry, the experience was very rich and colorful. The service staff was warm and considerate. Although we relied almost entirely on translation machines and body language, it did not affect our communication. The aunt who was responsible for taking care of us would patiently help us change our clothes, remind us to appreciate the cherry blossoms, and ask us where to go. It felt like my own relatives were taking care of the children who came to travel. This is probably the meaning of a family hotel. Dinner and breakfast were very delicious and sufficient! The girls really couldn't finish it! When I learned that someone of us had a birthday, I got a handwritten blessing card, which was very touching! Our friends agreed to stay more time to come here next time!

The hotel is owned by the same group as Hakone Gora Shirotan Ryokan. As for Hakone Gora Shirotan Ryokan, it ranks first among hot spring hotels. However, this hotel is very remote and is basically difficult to reach if you are not traveling by car. The characteristics of the hotel are the same as those of Shirotan Inn. Very similar, the public space is smaller overall, there is no lobby restaurant, the public hot spring is very small, the catering is also divided into several centralized rooms according to the guest areas of different rooms, the hotel has almost no recreational facilities, the main focus is tranquility, beauty and health.

Very comfortable, quiet, attentive service, the family is very satisfied

The waiters were very friendly, whether they were checking in or eating, there was a good English waiter. We arrived early to put our luggage first, inquired about where we could walk back and forth for an hour, and we went to five shrines, which seemed to have a thousand years of history. This hotel is suitable for meditation. Unfortunately, I don't know Japanese. There are at least thousands of books in the hotel, and they are very in-depth works from the title. We also booked dinner. This hotel provides vegetarian food and there are no eggs for breakfast. The food ingredients are very fresh and delicious, although there is less oil, the dinner is particularly delicious. But my friend is delicious meat, a vegetarian food is OK, the next day at noon before we get on the train to eat 20 ancient fried dumplings in Tangheyuan :) The quality of the hot springs is good. In Japan, hot springs are almost all alone, no matter how big their pool is. My friend and I are impressed that Beijing hot springs are not always low consumption like dumplings. We can't soak in hot springs in Japan after the third day. Still have to hurry, buy a ticket to Japan. The price of this hotel is not low, especially after dinner. Our room is very large, I don't know if there is an upgrade. The space for two people is very spacious and I think the family is not bad. I saw a room with 5 big men. After asking, they said that they were invited by company colleagues to travel together. So there may be a bigger room. Tang Heyuan and this hotel are places that may come back again.
