There are several baths and you can enjoy it. The rental open-air bath that no one comes in is especially relaxing, but the large public bath and open-air bath are also comfortable as wide 々. The room was clean, the meal was delicious and the amount was too much. I thought that Nakai was a little too cheerful? But I was worried about the color 々. There is a little bit of a luxury inn in Hakone, but I feel that Fukiya is handmade but sophisticated hospitality. I thought I would go again.

At my parents' recommendation, I stayed in a room with a bed and an open-air bath. It's been a while since I've been to Yugawara, but I realized once again that it's easier to access than Hakone, especially the Gora area. The old kanji for camellia is written as ``umi pomegranate,'' and there are motifs of sea pomegranate flowers all over the hotel, and there are many types of sea pomegranate trees planted in the garden outside. If you go up the road outside the entrance of the inn, you will find a walking route along the river. It's a bit of a tough slope for people with bad legs, but I imagine it's spectacular during the season of sea pomegranates, autumn leaves, and cherry blossoms. The inn's gardener took care of such a large promenade, so I think it is well maintained. The room was spacious, and the koi pond and open-air bath in the garden were spacious and the temperature was just right. The bed was comfortable and I had a choice of pillows. Perhaps the head chef and I have the same tastes for the morning and evening meals, but overall the soup was light and elegant, and the food was as delicious as I expected. I wanted my American husband to understand how delicious this was. Nakai-san's service was also good. We made rice balls with the leftover rice from dinner. I was able to enjoy the sake tasting and Haggen-Dazs ice cream in the lounge near the public bath, which made me feel good. When I checked out, I forgot to pick up the item I bought at the souvenir shop, so I called to check on it after I got home, and they sent it to me along with a polite letter. This is a cute sea pomegranate coaster, and I will use it with care. thank you very much. At my parents' recommendation, I stayed in a room with beds and an open-air bath. As part of a tour organized by Club Med Découvertes, I spent one night (March 31, 2023) in this ryokan. I occupied room 242. The establishment seems at the end of the world. The hotel itself has no particular charm, it is a modern building located in a narrow valley. The reception is ordinary. It seems that there are not many people at reception and generally one wonders where the staff is. It is therefore impossible to get information or help. Signage is non-existent or very confusing and it is easy to get lost in a maze of corridors. Once you arrive, we give you some advice: dress up in a kimono. The one in my room is a child's kimono! So a good point for being ridiculous. The room in question, although it is large (a large room with coffee tables, where a tatami and a futon will be deployed for the night, another small room, a separate toilet, a bathroom) is totally uncomfortable. It's low in the ceiling and as I'm tall I bumped into it a lot of times, or you have to walk bent over. Impossible to open the windows or take advantage of a mini terrace. The equipment is minimal: safe, empty minibar, no wifi everywhere, air conditioner that must be unplugged to have an electrical outlet near where you have to sleep, no bedside lamp, nothing to hang your things on. , insufficient pillows, no large bath towel, ... The comfort is really very basic. The bathroom includes a sink, a shower whose shower head cannot be hung at eye level, a sort of tray for enjoying the thermal waters. There is only one small towel, which is very insufficient. The only positive point is that it's quiet. The dinner was very average, although I must admit that efforts had been made to satisfy us with a menu containing I don't know how many dishes. The breakfast is Japanese, so not suited to my tastes. There is no bar. I didn't try the onsen, not being at all ready to walk around naked in front of strangers. In summary, and as far as I am concerned (I understand very well that one could have a different opinion), this night is more folklore than hotel business. And I think the quality/price ratio is catastrophic, when you see the price of the night on online reservation sites. At this price you can find a 4 or 5* hotel without any problem. I will never try a similar experience when I return to Japan.

It felt like a vacation rental, and I was able to rent a room in a regular apartment. All tableware is available and you can use the kitchen. There was a refrigerator, chopsticks, electric kettle, knife, and everything we needed. I also had pajamas, or rather, loungewear. Since we had a hot plate, we bought some meat from a nearby supermarket and had Yakiniku. It feels like a vacation home and it's fun. It was convenient because there was a convenience store and a drug store that also sold alcohol nearby. It might be fun to stay with a large group.

Very Good
莫莫莉楊The location is quite remote. I walked there when I went there and almost gave up. Fortunately, there was a shuttle from the hotel to the station when I left.
But the overall experience was pretty good, and the people in the store were very friendly.
GGuest UserI always go to a fixed inn, but when I used the national travel support, I thought it was a different inn, and it was a high class, so I was a little disappointed, but it was disappointing. I intended to check it properly, but the open-air bath in the room smelled of chlorine due to circulation. The size of the room, facilities and amenities were substantial, and I was glad that there was a fan because it was hot after entering the hot spring even in the cold season. Dinner was an obanzai style, so it was a pity that even the warm items were cold. Atami Fuga was the same, but is the rice cooked with a siphon warmed with dashi soup? It was a performance, but the normal meal was good. The breakfast was served in a multi-tiered box style, and the tofu shop in the neighborhood had a piece of deep-fried tofu with no seasoning, no soy sauce, and it was cold. There was nothing left and most of it was left. The rice in the bowl was cold, and the miso soup with root vegetables wasn't cooked at all. . Is it a young staff who graduated from a cooking school without a head chef, or is it a form of warming and serving ready-made food? No matter which inn I went to, I never left a meal behind, but I'm sorry that there weren't many things that were made, but I lost the desire to eat. No repeats.
GGuest UserFirst of all, it is embarrassing to have been guided to the 3rd floor of the building only by stairs. It is inconvenient to go to the bath, and the handrail on the stairs from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor is not installed on the left side when going down, which is dangerous. refrigerator. Small items include alcohol and mineral water. In the freezer at the top of the same warehouse, there was leftover food from the ice cream monaka of a guest who had stayed there before (I clapped my hands and laughed). I wonder if you understand Japanese. When I was let through the room, I gave an elderly woman (Japanese woman) a gift, but the Chinese woman did not thank me until the next morning. The person at the counter must be Japanese, after all. I was whispering. I wondered if I should say that to the customer. In the morning, while I was waiting for breakfast at the table after raising the futon, a centipede started walking on the tatami mats. I exterminated it and left it on the tatami mat, but the Chinese waitress pretended not to see it. Way to go. Originally it is a dried fish shop, but it seems that the inn business is being forced. Even if you are guided to the parking lot, weeds grow as much as you want. I should have parked in the paid parking lot. About 3 hours after checking out, when I was on my way home, I received a call on my cell phone asking if the room key had been returned. Great phone call with. The young proprietress appears in the media and seems to be doing her best, but she doesn't come to the counter. . I don't know. Even if the food and bath (small and dirty) are good, it will have to be rated low.
