BBoganThis hotel boasts a wonderful location in a picturesque part of the city, right next to Glover Garden. It's the only hotel here, and it's truly magnificent. Housed in a meticulously restored historic building, it features modern amenities and offers stunning bay views. Everything you need for a comfortable stay and pleasant strolls around the area is here. The rooms are spacious with luxurious interiors and comfortable beds. Every detail has been thought of, from the coffee machine and bathrobes to all the toiletries. Getting here might be a bit of a trek, as the hotel is on a hill, about a 10-15 minute uphill walk from public transport stops. However, this is more than compensated for by its incredibly quiet location, free from bustling traffic and crowds. I'd like to give a special shout-out to one of the hotel staff, Peiyun Lin! She is an exceptional professional with excellent English (she's from Taiwan), gracious, and competent – an ideal employee. She responded instantly to our problem when we found a large cockroach in the bathroom! She arrived quickly with special products to treat the area. If only there were more employees like her! Thank you!

AAnonymous UserThe room was fantastic! The lobby was also very bright, and there's an outdoor area with a great view. The open-air onsen on the top floor was absolutely amazing, super clean, and incredibly relaxing! The hotel is right above Chinatown, making it very convenient for getting around.

There is a small but nice onsen on the 11th floor as well as a reading room containing a huge collection of mangas and even free ice cream! The hotel is located close to the train station and the tourist attractions can be reached by tram.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and decent but the shower smells like mould. Not sure what caused it but it seems like once you get the shower going it improves. There was a washing machine in the room, which was very nice as we didn’t have to go out to do laundry’s the hotel is close to the old Dutch street and there is a very nice place for dinner near by 五島うどんと酒と肴 椿屋. Highly recommended. We all enjoy the food, sake and price was very decent

GGuest UserThe air conditioning is individually adjustable and gets nice and cold. The shower pressure is good, and the bathroom was very clean. The mattress was comfortable, though the pillows could have been a bit higher. The quiet environment made it very easy to fall asleep. The room itself was spotless and had no unpleasant odors. The staff were exceptionally polite and always had bright, welcoming smiles. I would definitely choose to stay here again. The hotel's recreation room next to the sauna offers complimentary comic books. In terms of refreshments, they provide free cold lactic acid drinks in the morning, ice cream/popsicles from noon to afternoon, and freshly cooked ramen as a late-night supper. Conveniently, there's a convenience store and restaurants downstairs, and Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown is right across the street. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of major attractions: 14 minutes to the museum and 13 minutes to the pier.

--DHKI made a spontaneous trip around Kyushu, so I went also spontaneously to Nagasaki. I found the S Peria with great reviews and it's exactly what is written here and everywhere! It's a decent choice. Exactly what you expect from a hotel in Japan. The 5/5 for location is due to nice closeness to the train station - perfect! Please note that it's far from the Nagasaki Nuclear Bomb Museum, Monument and the one legged Tori! The 5/5 for Service is because it's Japan. The staff is amazing, but it's not like South East Asia in Service, but for Japan, this hotel is fulfilling exactly what you expect! You don't do something wrong booking this hotel, if you want a bit of a decent budget solution - this is your go-to hotel!

__M1355235****It's located on a pretty steep hill, and there isn't much commercial activity around. You'll need to take a bus to get into the city center. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, conveniently named after the hotel itself. Make sure you get off at that stop; getting off even one or two stops earlier will mean a steep climb. It's not far from the summit of Mount Inasa, and there's a direct bus. If you miss the bus after enjoying the night view, a taxi back to the hotel is only about a 5-minute ride and reasonably priced. The hotel's own free rooftop observation deck is absolutely amazing, and enjoying a drink and the night view in the lounge is also very pleasant. There's a shuttle bus service from the hotel to Nagasaki Station. There's also a hot spring (onsen).
