Hotels with Parking in Golmud

We chose this hotel for our trip to Chaka Salt Lake, and it was a pleasant surprise! They upgraded us to a family room, which my child absolutely loved. They even hugged the big goose, as if seeing a long-lost relative. By the way, even without the upgrade, the twin beds (1.35 meters) would have been spacious enough. The room was large, parking was free, and they helped us with our luggage during check-in. The service, especially from Song, was incredibly thoughtful. Once we confirmed our arrival time after visiting Chaka Salt Lake, delicious wonton noodles were promptly delivered. I had eye drops that needed freezing, and they had dedicated staff who quickly helped with ice and other requests. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich. I'm not sure if this hotel is four-star or five-star, but the breakfast definitely felt five-star. I particularly remember the impressive mixed noodles. The hotel also has its own laundry room, which some five-star hotels don't. It's a free laundry room with drying facilities. What's even more impressive is that the laundry room was comfortably air-conditioned and had a self-service beverage machine where I enjoyed a hot orange juice and a hot milk. Very impressive! Laundry bags were also conveniently available for self-service, and of course, they were also provided in the room (thanks to Song). In short, it was incredibly convenient and definitely not just a place to crash for a night. If you're not in a hurry, this hotel is truly a place where you can stay and slowly experience the Northwest. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the scenic area. If you specifically come here after visiting Chaka Salt Lake, you have to backtrack a bit to continue on G315 towards the desert. But experiencing Golmud, this western city, was also a wonderful experience. I have no regrets at all, thanks to our stay at the Golmud Yellow River International Hotel.

Located in the heart of Golmud, it's very convenient for dining and shopping, with a large mall nearby. The front desk and doorman service were very enthusiastic. The hotel has a complimentary underground parking garage. The doorman proactively helped with luggage and valet parking. Both parking and retrieving the car were handled by the hotel, which was very comforting. The amenities are comprehensive, including a laundry room and a gym. All rooms are equipped with complimentary humidifiers and oxygen concentrators. Breakfast was decent. I highly recommend the egg fried rice and homemade yogurt. The breakfast staff were very welcoming, and food was replenished promptly. One drawback, which seems to be a common issue throughout Golmud, is that the air conditioning doesn't cool. During my three-day stay in the Golmud region, I didn't encounter a single air conditioner that could cool the room. Friends from the south might find this particularly uncomfortable.

Great value for money, I'd definitely book this hotel again. Beyond the standard budget hotel offerings, there were some nice touches: plenty of space to put things, several comfortable chairs/sofas, a humidifier, a vanity table, a full-length mirror, a dedicated cabinet for bath and hand towels, sterilized plastic slippers, a smart speaker (Xiao Ai), and complimentary brewed tea at the front desk. Breakfast was decent, though the plain congee and fried rice could be improved. The parking lot is large, and there's a delicious boneless meat restaurant nearby.

The most delightful stop on my trip to the great Northwest! Staying at the Solitary Starry Sky Camp was an absolutely amazing experience ✨ I chose the Dome Starry Sky room, and at night, I could just lie in bed and gaze up at the Milky Way. The starry sky over the Gobi Desert is truly breathtaking. In the evening, there was a lively bonfire party where everyone gathered around to sing and dance – the atmosphere was fantastic! We also enjoyed a spectacular fireworks display, which really elevated the experience. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful; they responded quickly to any requests, making the entire stay hassle-free. The hotel is right next to the Yardang landforms, offering unparalleled views of the Gobi wilderness. The facilities are excellent for a desert camp. I highly recommend including this experience on your Qinghai-Gansu loop tour; it’s an unforgettable Gobi camping adventure!

Facilities: Excellent! The room was fully equipped, with air conditioning and a humidifier. Cleanliness: Good, clean and hygienic. Environment: Very close to the pedestrian street (5-minute walk), great location! Service: The front desk staff and other staff were very friendly! Airport shuttle service: Punctual and convenient, excellent! The lamb skewers downstairs were also delicious and reasonably priced. A small suggestion: the oxygen device in the room makes a ”popping” sound when it starts and stops at night, which slightly affects sleep. It would be helpful to turn it down a bit to prevent it from stopping. Overall, an excellent experience, definitely worth checking out! 👍

All hotel in Golmud is very expensive.This one is the cheapest one I can find with breakfast complementary. The hotel location is at the city center surrounding with a lot of restaurants and shopping stores.

From a distance, the white sailing tents are scattered, and the shape is chic and full of romance. Like the white sailing boat parked in nature, the face value is directly full. The twin room we stayed in was much more spacious than expected. There was no cramped feeling of traditional tents at all. The layout was reasonable and warm. The simple design style blended natural elements. It was stylish and comfortable. It was suitable for both friends and parent-child travel. The facilities inside the room are very complete, and the waiter also prepared earplugs and mosquito repellent for us. The details are full of care. The bedding of the twin bed is soft and tidy, and the zero-pressure mattress is used. The hardness is moderate, and the fatigue when lying on it will dissipate instantly. The quality of sleep at night is particularly good. The room is equipped with smart air conditioning, convenient temperature adjustment, no matter the weather can maintain a comfortable room temperature. The separate bathroom is designed to separate dry and wet, clean and tidy without odor, the bathroom facilities are complete, the hot water supply is stable and the water output is large, and the washing experience is very comfortable. In addition, the room is also equipped with basic daily necessities, neatly arranged, easy to use, really exquisite and practical. The most surprising thing is the view of the room. Open the tent door and the beautiful beach and lake water to drink tea in the sunset, watching the sun slowly fall, the stars and moon are really wonderful. The service is also impeccable, the staff is warm and intimate throughout the photo did not say back, by the way, turn around. Check-in is efficient and fast, and the staff will patiently explain the use of room facilities and surrounding play suggestions. There is any demand during the stay, the response is very timely, the service attitude is gentle and friendly, and people feel very kind. The daily cleaning work is done in place, the room is always clean and tidy, and the details are also handled well, making people feel at ease and comfortable.

Parking was extremely difficult; parking spaces were hard to find, and you had to drive quite far in to find one. The parking area was also rather narrow. The service didn't feel like that of a chain brand. When I went to check in, I had already booked two breakfasts on Ctrip, and my Ctrip order clearly included two breakfasts. There were two people at the front desk; one said there weren't any. I insisted that breakfast was included, and he asked the other person, who checked and said there weren't any. It was very awkward. I showed him my Ctrip order on my phone, saying that there were breakfasts included, and only then did he confirm and give me two vouchers. It was so embarrassing. I told my companion three times that breakfast was included and that we had booked it. On the first day, when I went to eat breakfast, no one checked the room card or voucher. On the second day, when I went around 9 AM, someone checked it. Also, around 4 or 5 AM, there was a loud noise outside the window, louder than the air conditioner's outdoor unit. I don't know what it was, but I was woken up by it both nights.

The owner was very nice and provided excellent service. They even upgraded my room since there was a vacancy. The hotel is very close to Golmud Station, right across the street. There's a supermarket downstairs, and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. The room was large and comfortable for me, and it felt quite safe. I'd love to come back to Golmud again; it's a city I really like!

Facilities: The ingredients are beautifully colored, a vibrant red, and the flavor is rich but not greasy—it's a very authentic restaurant. The ambiance is fantastic; it's the perfect choice for gatherings with family and friends or company team-building events. 💓 I absolutely love this hidden gem of a restaurant! I'll definitely be a regular customer. The staff are very professional, patiently explaining everything and answering many questions.
