"This hotel in Golmud was the best value for money we experienced during our week-long road trip in western China! š The facilities and services are quite comprehensive and very clean. The front desk kindly upgraded us to a spacious deluxe room, which was very comfortable. š
Since the hotel's central air conditioning wasn't on yet, a thoughtful staff member brought a portable air cooler to our room. We didn't really need it at night; opening the window was more comfortable for sleeping.
The only slight disappointment was the water temperature for a bath. Although the room had a bathtub and even disposable bath liners, the water was a bit too cool. The shower temperature, however, was just right.
This hotel offers a wide variety of breakfast options ā enough to fill you up and enjoy a good meal. Choosing this hotel in Golmud was definitely the right decision! š"

"This stay at Atour was such a pleasant surprise! I had originally booked a standard double room, but upon check-in, the front desk staff were incredibly kind and upgraded me to a suite for free ā I was instantly thrilled!
The suite was much larger than the double room, with a well-designed layout, spotless and odor-free. The bedding was soft and comfortable, with a wide selection of pillows, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the toiletries were of high quality. All the facilities were new and functional.
From arrival to check-in, the service was warm and attentive, with a gentle and patient attitude. The hotel environment was elegant and quiet, and it was very convenient for getting around. This unexpected room upgrade completely enhanced my experience, offering excellent value for money. "On June 28, 2026, at 7:00 AM, after a high-speed train and a slower 'green-skin' train journey, we finally arrived at the Golmud Huanghe International Hotel. The friendly front desk lady warmly welcomed us and quickly processed our check-in. She even thoughtfully gave us two breakfast vouchers and advised us to rest well at the hotel after eating to acclimatize to the high altitude, rather than engaging in strenuous activities right away.
The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for dining and shopping. It also has its own parking lot, which is very friendly for self-driving tourists. The guest rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and hygienic, and the housekeeping staff diligently cleaned them every day. The hotel breakfast was abundant, offering both Chinese and Western options, as well as ******* tsampa and milk tea. The freshly prepared beef noodles were particularly good. They delivered complimentary fruit and snacks every day. On two occasions when we left early for a day tour, they even prepared packed lunches for us.
The lobby manager, Xiaofang, was incredibly kind. She gave us a discount when we extended our stay and even added us on WeChat, checking in daily to see how we (being seniors in our sixties) were adapting to the high altitude. The Golmud Huanghe International Hotel truly felt like a warm and considerate temporary home for us in the highlands. We are very grateful for the efforts of every staff member at the hotel. Our trip to the Northwest highlands was delightful, and none of our initial worries materialized; we completed our high-altitude itinerary smoothly. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you visit Golmud. Five-star rating!"

"Although our stay was short, this was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our Qinghai-Gansu trip.
First, let's talk about the service. On the evening of July 7th, when we checked in, there was a dedicated security guard who helped guide us and park our car. Upon entering, the hotel staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to assist us with check-in. There were also staff members dedicated to helping us with our luggage and delivering it to our room. The next morning at breakfast, the chefs greeted every guest warmly, and the breakfast was delicious!

"The hotel isn't located in the city center, but there are plenty of restaurants downstairs. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the facilities were new. There's a parking lot in the backyard with two fast charging stations; a young man was there to guide us through parking and charging, and even helped with our luggage. The receptionist was beautiful and kind. There's also a laundry room and a printer; I needed to print a form, and the receptionist helped me with that too. The rooms were well-soundproofed and quiet. They even provided complimentary yogurt."

"Our hotel is excellent, great value for money, and the amenities are top-notch. It even has a gym, billiards room, and laundry room ā and surprisingly, it's equipped with the āQiao's Golden Legā brand, which is fantastic! The wet and dry areas are also separated. However, I have a few suggestions: 1. The laundry room should ideally have someone specifically assigned to supervise it, especially now during peak tourist season when there are many guests and a high demand for laundry. Otherwise, long queues can easily lead to disputes, and many people won't be able to wash their clothes. Or, some people will take a very long time to wash, causing delays for others and potentially causing conflict. Having someone specifically manage it would also improve service. 2. The gym equipment is excellent, but it feels like it's never been used. Some equipment makes unusual noises, and some is unstable, posing a risk of injury. I suggest having someone specifically check it weekly or monthly. Also, it would be good to have some water available in the gym. If you suspect someone is taking the water, you could add a access control system. 3. There aren't enough clothes racks in this room. To be honest, it's not necessary to put all the bathrobes on them. You could fold the bathrobes and add more racks. I feel the need for racks is greater than the need for bathrobes.
4. The telephone in the room is particularly hard to find. I think it would be best to put a label on it, because many people can't find this type of panel telephone. It would also be good to have instructions for the oxygen concentrator. Many people don't know how to use it.
5. The mini-fridge is in this cabinet. If the cabinet door isn't opened, its heat dissipation won't be good. When I open it, the area around the refrigerator gets very hot, which will cause the refrigerator to wear out very easily."

Come to Golmud to travel, stay at the eLong Hotel to experience full marks! The location of the hotel is excellent, just in the city center, facing Kunlun Park, the scenery outside the window is superb, and it is especially convenient to eat and drink around.
The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the check-in is efficient and fast, there are questions and answers, and the local play guide is intimate. The room was a surprise, and the facilities were brand new and complete. The decoration is modern and elegant, the environment is clean and elegant, warm and comfortable, the bedding is soft, the sound insulation effect is good, there is a humidifier in the dry Golmud, and the details are full. 24-hour hot water, small refrigerator, disinfection cabinet, everything, and the living is particularly safe.
Whether it is hardware or service, it is impeccable, highly recommended! Stay here next time you come to Golmud!

Airport shuttle service: Punctual and convenient, excellent!
The lamb skewers downstairs were also delicious and reasonably priced.
A small suggestion: the oxygen device in the room makes a āpoppingā sound when it starts and stops at night, which slightly affects sleep. It would be helpful to turn it down a bit to prevent it from stopping.
Overall, an excellent experience, definitely worth checking out! š

Guest UserThe environment is great, and I really enjoyed the spacious RV. The camp's dining was also good, and they have an observation deck and a big slide. The bonfire at night created a wonderful atmosphere. Other room types also looked interesting; I'd love to come back and stay again if I get the chance.
A flock of silly gulls often shows up waiting for food, working diligently morning and night.

Guest UserI had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and well-designed, spotlessly clean, and completely odor-free. The bed was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and there was plenty of hot water, with all the essential amenities provided. The hotel staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and friendly. The location is super convenient for transportation, yet the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. Itās definitely an excellent choice for a trip.
The hygiene was top-notch; there wasn't a speck of dust or dirt anywhere, and the room was well-ventilated with a comfortable temperature. The soundproofing was fantastic, making for a truly quiet night's rest. The facilities were excellent, with soft, pleasant lighting. The staff were responsive and friendly. This hotel offers much better value for money than others in its price range, and I would genuinely recommend it and definitely return.

TianrongrongThe room was very clean, and it even had an electric fan. Usually, city hotels don't have air conditioning or fans, but this one did, which was a really thoughtful touch! The greenery outside my window was so soothing. ā¤ļøš©¹ The owner's service was also very friendly. The handsome guy at the front desk helped me carry my suitcases upstairs. The lobby had a dazzling array of local specialties, and the owner even opened them for me to try. Finally, before leaving, I bought some wild black goji berries (I buy a lot, and they ship to my house for free). It really saved me a lot of effort. If I ever revisit this place, I'd definitely stay there again... I wish the owner good health!

Great! The room was very clean with a fan, and the bed was very comfortableāa soft bed. There are restaurants downstairs and car washes nearby, just a short walk from the highway exit. Overall, it was very convenient and comfortable. The room was quite new, and the soundproofing was decent. The only drawback was the inconsistent water temperature in the bathroomāeither too hot or too cold. Overall, 9.9 out of 10. The host was also very welcoming. Highly recommended!

First of all, the most amazing thing is the overall environment of the hotel and the unique sailing tent design. From a distance, the white sailing tents are scattered, and the shape is chic and full of romance. Like the white sailing boat parked in nature, the face value is directly full. The twin room we stayed in was much more spacious than expected. There was no cramped feeling of traditional tents at all. The layout was reasonable and warm. The simple design style blended natural elements. It was stylish and comfortable. It was suitable for both friends and parent-child travel.
The facilities inside the room are very complete, and the waiter also prepared earplugs and mosquito repellent for us. The details are full of care. The bedding of the twin bed is soft and tidy, and the zero-pressure mattress is used. The hardness is moderate, and the fatigue when lying on it will dissipate instantly. The quality of sleep at night is particularly good. The room is equipped with smart air conditioning, convenient temperature adjustment, no matter the weather can maintain a comfortable room temperature. The separate bathroom is designed to separate dry and wet, clean and tidy without odor, the bathroom facilities are complete, the hot water supply is stable and the water output is large, and the washing experience is very comfortable. Guest UserIt's a half-hour drive from the Cerhan Salt Lake to Golmud City. This hotel is easy to find right on the national highway, with convenient parking and nearby food options.
The hotel is new and very clean, with no odors. The owner is incredibly kind!
We were given a free room upgrade.
The room was spacious and clean. Highly recommended!

Anonymous UserThe owner was very nice and provided excellent service. They even upgraded my room since there was a vacancy. The hotel is very close to Golmud Station, right across the street. There's a supermarket downstairs, and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. The room was large and comfortable for me, and it felt quite safe. I'd love to come back to Golmud again; it's a city I really like!
