Guest UserI stayed in many Marriotts around the world and this is definitely the worst one. Receptionists are cold robots without any sign of hospitality.
If you ask about a bit later checkout they start long negotiations, are lying about the full hotel (it was half empty) and try to charge you more (in my case 112 USD for just two hours of later checkout).
In double rooms you shall strangely find only one (not two) chair both in the room and on the balcony.
In lobby there are too many safeguards, and you feel yourself rather being under KGB control and surely not in a luxurious hotel.
In general the hotel starts to be looking a bit outdated (compared to what it was 7-8 years ago) and definitely isn’t worth money they ask.

Good hotel but be careful when reading breakfast provision conditions for the kids. For free it's provided if under 6 years

Kevin_Yang_UKThe hotel is perfectly located right next to the train station, making transportation incredibly convenient. There's also a supermarket directly across the street where you can easily purchase all sorts of food and daily necessities. The hotel breakfast is excellent too, with a wide variety of options.

Guest UserExcellent location in the old city centre where there are many cafes, restaurants, pubs, attractions. Really clean and comfortable big room in a traditional monastery which has been converted into a hotel.
Room is big with comfortable bed, good view from the (top floor) traditional 16th century window. I like the long corridor with traditional circular ring shaped lights holder hung from ceiling.
Buffet Breakfast is reasonable but similar Belarus foods juices+ teas, coffee, water everyday during my stay.
Quick check in and check out at receptions with friendly staff who speak English., 24 hours service.
Reception helped organised paid airport transfer on my last morning.
Overall very satisfied experience. Will definitely stay again when I next visit Minsk.

Guest UserThis hotel is a mixed bag. On one hand, it boasts a great location in the heart of Minsk, friendly staff, and a decent business room on the 4th floor. However, the peace and comfort promised by the hotel turned out to be an illusion: there's a strip club on the 5th floor, which is quite peculiar for a hotel. But the biggest surprise came at night: around 2 AM, I woke up to loud music and karaoke on the 1st floor. Sleeping was impossible; I definitely wouldn't recommend it for noise-sensitive people staying over the weekend. I went to the front desk to complain, and it seemed like such complaints weren't new to them. I also went up to the 5th floor, and they told me the club operates until 6:00 AM. The soundproofing here is nonexistent, so behind the pretty facade and polite smiles lies a lively but very noisy establishment. This hotel is clearly not for those who value a peaceful night's rest. 🤷🏻♀️

It was a Tidy & Clean hotel. Well Decorated. The only problem was, it gave a feeling that the hotel was still working under the process of closing. The Casino was closed, Restaurant closed, no breakfast, no room service, I mean the hotel’s activities were minimized. A strange thing was, they charge extra money if you take an additional towel. A very small price, but makes feel why they do that. So, the hotel, personnel are very nice, but somethings give a strange feeling.

Belarus Hotel is a centrally located hotel. Ticks all the basics of a business traveller. A decent single room, all critical amenities, excellent breakfast.
Some facilities look dated, but it could just be called “Old World Charm”. Staff had decent knowledge of English, and was trying to be helpful. Overall, a good experience.
It is a 3 star hotel, and for a 3 star, it is very good. You essentially get a bit more than you pay for. The hotel was a bit strict about check out timing, but that was because it was full, so I don’t want to be unfair and deduct any marks there. Again, the check out was smooth and the staff was sweet.
Will stay again next time.

To be honest, I haven't actually stayed there myself. I booked it online for a company employee's business trip. Overseas hotels, unlike those in my home country, tend to have smaller beds, but the price is quite reasonable. Overall, it seems like a pretty good fit.

The room was very clean and spacious. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel doesn't provide slippers or toothbrushes, but they are available for purchase at the front desk for a very reasonable price. There's no hairdryer, so remember to bring your own. It might also be a good idea to bring your own pajamas. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the airport. While it's a bit further from the city center, this is understandable given the extremely affordable price. Overall, I was very satisfied, and it offers excellent value for money.
