Minsk Hotels with Wifi

"Belarus Hotel is a centrally located hotel. Ticks all the basics of a business traveller. A decent single room, all critical amenities, excellent breakfast. Some facilities look dated, but it could just be called “Old World Charm”. Staff had decent knowledge of English, and was trying to be helpful. Overall, a good experience. It is a 3 star hotel, and for a 3 star, it is very good. You essentially get a bit more than you pay for. The hotel was a bit strict about check out timing, but that was because it was full, so I don’t want to be unfair and deduct any marks there. Again, the check out was smooth and the staff was sweet. Will stay again next time."

"The hotel is in a good location with nice views outside. There is a shopping mall on the left. The hygiene is OK. But the facilities are old, the kettle is too old, and slippers are not provided."

"To be honest, I haven't actually stayed there myself. I booked it online for a company employee's business trip. Overseas hotels, unlike those in my home country, tend to have smaller beds, but the price is quite reasonable. Overall, it seems like a pretty good fit."

"Simply a fantastic hotel. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment. The beds were incredibly soft and comfortable. The location is excellent, just one bus stop from the city center. The price was unbeatable. The breakfasts every morning were superb, offering a wide array of local and Russian dishes to suit all tastes. If we return to Minsk, we will definitely stay here again."

"Great location, it's a pleasant 10-12 minute walk to the Upper Town. There's a shopping mall, a Kommunarka brand store, cafes, and a cinema nearby. The hotel itself is perfectly adequate for a 3-star property. The room is clean, but for some reason, there's no fridge or kettle, even though there's a cup and saucer on the table. The fridge is in the hallway, which feels a bit like being in a hospital. I would definitely stay here again. (The photo shows the view from the window.)"

"I stayed at this hotel (formerly a monastery and later a guardhouse) and had mixed feelings. Overall, I liked it, but it wasn't without its drawbacks. I think it's better here in summer than in fall and winter. The first thing I really miss is a trash can in the room. The only small one is in the bathroom, and it's clearly not enough. There's nowhere to throw trash in the room itself. The second drawback is the cold. The air conditioner is controlled remotely, and it's impossible to set the room temperature yourself. While in regular hotels you can turn up the heat or cool down, here you have to go to reception every time and ask for the temperature to be changed. They promise to do so, but in the end, the room remains chilly. It feels like they're saving on their customers. The third drawback is the blanket. It fits the mattress perfectly and doesn't hang down the sides at all. It's fine for one person, but if you're sleeping with two people, the blanket is definitely not enough—someone will be left without shelter. And the fourth point is the echo. Yes, the walls here are indeed thick, as befits an old monastery, but the sound inside reverberates so strongly that every word reverberates. It makes you feel like you're in an empty room—you don't even want to speak. The fifth drawback is breakfast. While the hours are convenient—from 7 to 11 a.m.—it's very meager. I arrived around 10 a.m., and there were no desserts at all; fruit—a couple of meager orange slices, and that was it. Overall, the fruit and sweet options were poor. The main course included an omelet, an egg with a yolk, a sausage (which tasted distinctly chemical), and fried potatoes—and that's about it. Overall, I liked the hotel itself: atmospheric, unusual, and steeped in history. But the price is clearly overpriced. For the amenities offered here, the price should be at least a third lower. Right now it's just not worth the money they're asking for it."

"It's not close to anything but it's actually fine because taxis are very cheap and easy to call in Minsk. The room is normal but the Wi-Fi was quite slow and there was no hot water. Check-in staff told me about the lack of hot water at check-in and said Trip.com should've notified me beforehand."

"Good hotel, clean, and housekeeping was excellent. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. The location is pretty good; there's a river nearby for walks, and it's about a 20-25 minute walk to the city center. Behind the hotel, there's a street with cafes and bars. It's also about a 5-minute walk to the Komunarka brand store (factory outlet). We asked for a quieter room and got one facing the inner courtyard, which was very quiet, great for sleeping. The soundproofing isn't the best though; you can definitely hear doors slamming in neighboring rooms and so on. The service was fast and efficient. We asked for the air conditioning to be adjusted and the water cooler on our floor to be refilled, and both were taken care of immediately."

"This was my second time staying at this hotel. The hotel environment was nice, and the service was acceptable. However, it seemed the heating in the room wasn't very good in winter, and the hotel blankets were very thin. I used the hotel blanket, but it had dust mites, which caused many red bumps on my skin. There's a subway station and two large supermarkets near the hotel. The hotel has an elevator, a 24-hour front desk, and good security with strict management."
