We loved this hotel! Here are the reasons: 1. The service staff was so friendly and accommodating! They gave us extra beds for the kids and helped us with special requests. 2. We booked an island hopping tour from the hotel’s own tour agency and they have their own private boat and boatman who wear the resort’s shirts. The boatman are young, handsome, friendly and very accommodating. They took care of my little daughter while she was snorkeling, making sure she was ok and close to the boat. They were so responsible! 3. Design was super elegant, beautiful rooms, nice bathtub with good water pressure and temperature. Can use bath and shower at same time and not run out of hot water. 4. Perfect five star hotel in Panglao. Room, breakfast, different options, complimentary photo session (only one picture free though), beach, location, swimming and snorkeling (even saw some turtles in the water) - all that was spectacular. Some hotels in Panglao have better rating than Modala, but I definitely do recommend this one to stay at least for one night! In particular I liked this one beach more than some on the south of Panglao.

We stayed here for 3 nights. They helped us whenever we had problem. The swimming pool is great. You can even see airplanes flying while you are enjoying your day in swimming pool. Breakfast has only 3 options. This was the main problem maybe. It is close to Panglao airport. So we liked our experience here! 🌸 And price is good for sure

Staff were great. Hired a motorcycle from reception no hassles. Bit of a way to out but what’s 5-10 mins in a tuk tuk. Had to ask for room to be cleaned which seams to be common theme in Philippines. Had a bit of an ant problem in the room ..but that could have unwittingly been our own fault. Overall I would stay again good value for money.
