I took the bus from the airport to Politeama and walked to the hotel. Palermo has a convenient bus service so I bought an unlimited bus ticket for the duration of my stay. Lovely hotel overlooking a piazza. We booked a room with a balcony which was lovely to sit and watch the world go by. It is centrally located with bakeries, restaurants, shops and history right on your doorstep. Although it is a busy road, as is all the center you cannot hear the traffic in the room.
