Every time, the technician has to move a large ladder to manually close the curtains. Second, the shower head on the top of the bathroom has too little water and the temperature is too low. I dare not wash my hair for fear of catching a cold. Third, and the most important one! Don't stay in room 106! Less than one meter outside the window is the eaves on one side, blocking half of the view, and the eaves are wrapped in iron sheets. When it rains, the raindrops make a huge sound and it is impossible to fall asleep! I stayed for three nights and it rained for three nights... So when you come to Palermo during the rainy season at the end of the year and the beginning of the year, don't stay in room 106. When we placed the order, we asked for a high floor and a quiet room in advance, but the front desk guy gave us this room when we checked in. As a front desk, the professional requirement should be to know all kinds of rooms well; if we are allowed to stay in this room under the condition of understanding and the occupancy rate is not high, the motive can't help but make people suspicious.

PP_bThe hotel itself feels like a palace, with its decor, furniture, and décor reminiscent of a Norman palace. The front desk said it was built during the same period.
The hotel's location is fantastic, right near the Quattro Canto.
The room was spacious, with unique, antique windows. The bathroom had a shower in the tub, typical of a traditional four-star hotel.
The breakfast was hearty, and the hotel's own restaurant and bar were upscale and reasonably priced.
The staff was professional and attentive. Because my child had online classes, the front desk was especially kind and checked me in immediately after the room was cleaned, an hour earlier than the hotel's stated check-in time. This is quite rare in European hotels, which generally adhere to strict rules.

It was necessary to walk about 1 km to the beach. But the views and nature of the hotel are really beautiful! Waves breaking about stones, flowers, mountains. Water color 😍 It is necessary to say that the room was not cheap at all. We paid $224 a night. While, for example, in Finland or Poland, we lived in rooms for $100, which were much better than that. Also, because we lived on the 2nd floor and the roof of the restaurant blocked us the view of the sea, so every evening, When people came to the restaurant for dinner, we were forced to listen to this gallege, noise for 3 hours. The only thing that was good at this hotel was its staff. Always very kind and smiling. They brought us to the room the tug as soon as I asked. At the end of the stay we were ordered a taxi and printed tickets for the plane. However, at the beginning, before our arrival, there was a strange situation on the respiratory. Somehow at 11 a.m. the manager took our passports and said he would give them only at 8 p.m. Why does he have our passports for such a long time? Usually they are just copied and returned immediately. I wanted to rumor already. But when I offered him the copies I made in advance, he returned our passports.
Breakfasts were delicious, the Swedish table.
The water temperature in the shower changed on its own. It was never possible to be sure it would be constantly warm. It became cold, hot on its own. It is not convenient to wash.
Renovation, carpets, furniture - almost everything in this hotel is old.
Good were only staff and sea view. Thank you to staff for the warm reception! They are not guilty that the hotel needs renovation.
