If you are thinking about booking this hotel, just do it. It is really charming (in the best sense), in a beautiful location just outside the town with stunning views. Staff could not have been more helpful, with a lovely welcome on arrival. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on two occasions, the service and food was amazing. The view when we stepped outside the room (along the road) was breathtaking. Breakfast was amazing, with a really broad selection of gorgeous foods, especially pastries, as well as an omelette station. The pool area is really sheltered with comfortable beds. Palau itself is a lovely spot to visit, although very difficult to find somewhere to have lunch if you are not on the early side of lunch / do not have a reservation (and restaurant staff are quite rude in turning you away). The hotel was helpful in making dinner reservations for us which can be difficult to get at peak times. Highly recommended this hotel.

Comfortable kids & pets friendly village .The staff were all very friendly and helpful The hotel is well situated ,where everything is within walking distance . Room was just for our needs and comfortable( nothing of luxury).food was delicious (amazing pizzas).kids club was great, special mention to Alessandra with the beautiful smile on her face receiving our daughter daily , very good animation team . (Aurelia was very funny ). All the stuff in the restaurant are really working hard (Davide was always nice and helpful). My only complaint is about the lack of time for cleaning team and some dog's owner didn't pick up and dispose of their dog's waste, maybe because there is no dustbin around . Overall it was a lovely stay for us and our dogs as they enjoyed the dog's beach very much . we will surely go back to this village again .

This is quite a nice hotel centrally located and very close to the harbour. We had the standard room and it was a good size, small balcony from Which we could see the harbour and water. The staff are lovely and very helpful. As we had been traveling around sardenia for almost 3 weeks, we did some handwashing and I used my travel line on the balcony for it to dry but was asked by the hotel to remove it. ( nothing was draped over the edges). Fair enough. Our only issue here was the breakfast. Perhaps we have been spoilt with previous hotel breakfasts - this was packet cakes and rolls. Average runny eggs and undercooked bacon. Other than that very small issue, we enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed coffee in the cafe attached to the hotel as well as late afternoon drinks in the sun. Special mention to our fabulous waiter Fabio (?) There was a lot of noise late at night from the adjoining park so if you are a light sleeper perhaps ask for a room at the back of the hotel. A must while you are here is to get on a boat and tour around the islands. It’s a wonderful day but book early. It’s very popular. Also go on a day trip to La Maddalena. It’s gorgeous. The hotel can advise on the best way to do this.
