Surpassed my expectations.  Excellent location but ask staff for directions if walking to airport rather than relying on google maps.  Very close to the airport.  Trip also were great screened an incorrect booking I made that was supposed to be non refundable.  Would def use again.  Clean, friendly, safe and convenient.  Amazing late checkout if 2pm!!! Perfect for jet lag.  My mum could rest a few hours after her flight and I could be there early enough to meet her.

Service charge for Wi-Fi I thought was absurd. £ 8 for a soda

It was further from the airport than I thought, but that was my fault. The late check-out was great as could relax before on-going flight. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were friendly and helped with left luggage for my return from Outer Hebrides.

Can’t go wrong with a travelodge. Clean, easy and only around a 10 mins walk from the airport.

I have lived here in the passed, 6 min, walk from the airport terminal, Staff friendly and efficient. room size good. Had problems getting on to the internet outside provider.

Staff very kind and helpful. Although I agree with energy saving, a small room with a window that does not open and the air conditioning that does not cool off at the desired temperature is not acceptable (a completely ineffective gradation is set). That the room was small was already evident from the booking, but the information on the restriction of opening the window for safety (a few cm) was completely hidden. Not exactly in the city center.

The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to the airport and close to the airport car rental location. The first room I checked in had leftover tea in both cups, trash in the trash can, the bed had been slept in, and used towels were thrown on the floor of the toilet. I went to the front desk to report it, said sorry, and they immediately changed the room. Everything seemed to be normal. The door locks of the two rooms, the anti-intrusion door locks, were broken. I put a chair in front of the door at night to sleep peacefully.

The hotel doesn’t clean the rooms if you are staying for more than 1 night. I booked 2 rooms and they provided rooms on different floors. The hotel is very rigid, we request to change the room so the family can be together which was denied even though there was a vacant room available.

The Travelodge was reasonable value for the money. Nevertheless, you got what you paid for and therefore truly a value option. The breakfast was self serve with a reasonable selection. The dining area felt a bit like a school dinner hall with wooden chairs and tables. Only two sofas or soft seating areas for a drink in the evening, the alternative was the same wooden seating used for breakfast. The rooms were fine. The bathroom was reasonable for the money, the shower was ok but far from powerful or invigorating. There was no hand soap so we used the shower gel to wash our hands. We did mention this to the lady coming in to clean the room but the hand wash container was not filled (presume they had run out or not part of the service?). As stated in the opening sentence, reasonable service for the cheaper option. I would use again.

Good spot for an overnight. Affordable and clean. Well maintained and an easy to access bar for drinks, snacks and breakfast.
