Royal hotel Oudtshoorn   South Africa. Colonial style. Great location right in town. Comfortable rooms. Full English breakfast served in a wonderful large garden room. A short drive to Ostrich farms. Well worth visiting the museum  lots of history. Lovely shopping

During the first few days of the 2019 KKNK, we needed a family friendly place to stay at. WE came across this place via the internet and this looked like the most suitable place to reside at for those few days.   Upon our arrival in the middle of the night, we were convinced that we made a great choice. Not only is the staff friendly, they go above and beyond what you would expect. Sharonay is the lady that we were in contact with since we came and till the day we left. There are many places where people say that you can call them anytime and they will be of assistance. Here at Homestay that is not just talk - they really do deliver. I would definitely come back to this place when I'm back in Oudtshoorn again.

The property is quite big and rooms very comfortable. The bed was amazing, had a great nights sleep. The hosts were very friendly and really wanted our feedback so they could improve. They are in the process of building an extra bathroom, which will help with congestion when busy.  Overall very happy, would stay again
