Scandic Hotels in Oslo

Amazing location, just right beside oslo central station, about 30 mins to the airport! Room was small but clean. Breakfast was really good, but should go early otherwise there will be a queue even with reservation. Room cleaning was quite basic, clearing of trash and change of towels. No amenities except for shower essentials. Worth it for the price, Will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in oslo!

The Scandic Helsfyr is easily accessible from the airport (Flybussen) and from the city center (route bus and/or metro), just a few minutes away. The Helsfyr T station is less than 10 minutes away on foot, as are the two route bus stations. We got a very nice, quiet, and renovated room on the 8th floor. The room was well-equipped (including a safe, refrigerator, etc.), and the bathroom was a decent size. The gym in the basement was well-equipped. The breakfast buffet was incredible with a huge selection. The hotel staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the hotel and would book it again anytime!

The hotel is in a good location for tourism, transportation: there is a fast train for planes, the train is at the central train station, and the cruise ship is 1 km away. Tourism: Basically, you can walk to the main attractions within a 1.5 km radius, including the Munch Museum, Akershus Castle, Oslo City Hall, Oslo Cathedral, etc. As for food, there is nothing to talk about, as it can be found in the city center. The hotel lobby looks like a bar. There are many breakfast items, such as bread, pickled salmon, cheese, butter, coffee, tea, etc. The breakfast is good. The service staff is warm and welcoming, and the service languages ​​are basically Norwegian and English. It would be more convenient if they could speak Chinese! The room is not very big but well equipped and clean. The hotel does not provide toothbrushes and slippers.

Very old hotel. It was a weekend when I checked in. It was very lively. I really liked the bar downstairs. The environment was great! You can go there for a cocktail.

The facilities are very good and the service is very good. Our plane was very early and the hotel staff prepared breakfast for us. The transportation is convenient and fast, and there are many, many, many, many delicious foods around.

The location is on the top of the mountain, the transportation is inconvenient, the bus stop to the city center is about 13 minutes away, the train station needs taxi, Oslo nobles, in addition, a large part of the hotel is newly renovated, facilities and daily necessities are not yet available, the room does not even have a phone. The room is not small, the bedside table and table are small, not commensurate with the room area, the bathroom is large, but unfortunately the glass door of the shower room is not well designed, the water will still be immersed. The advantage is that the landscape is good, the breakfast is good, and the breakfast area is cute. The overall service is ordinary, not professional and procrastinating.

Helt ok hotell. Hadde det mest nødvendige, seng, dusj, toalett, tv. Veldig lite rom. Ikke kjøleskap. Noe jeg savnet. Frokost med veldig sparsomt utvalg og trangt om plassene. Som sagt, det dekker hva man må ha, men ikke noe mer en det heller. Til den prisen man må betale for et rom pr. natt, burde det vært en høyere standar.

The breakfast buffet is very complete with phenomenal quality. The employees are super friendly. If you need anything you can ask him without problem. Totally recommended. The hotel is actually well communicated, within by tram or walking. The staff is really helpful and kind, if you have any doubts or questions, they are always able to help you. A bit old but rooms are clean and have all the amenities you need. The breakfast is simply perfect, well service and you cold choose among several options. No doubt, absolutely advisable.

The hotel is generally good, there is a parking place at the entrance for loading and unloading luggage, the parking lot is underground, and a small door not far to the right of the hotel's main entrance enters. Note that the door and driveway are particularly narrow, you must drive in carefully. The parking fee is expensive, 250 crowns per night, but cheaper than outside. But there were few parking spaces. When we arrived at the hotel later in the afternoon, a waitress said there was no parking space underground, so I went outside to the nearby public parking lot to park. After I unloaded my luggage and checked in, I took a chance to go to the basement level and found that there was still a vacant seat. I immediately went to the front desk to handle the parking procedures. In the next few days, I walked around the city on foot. Without moving a car, I walked to the Sculpture Park, the Royal Palace, the National Opera House, and the Munch Museum. Hotel rooms are more comfortable, breakfast is great, there are salmon, two ways. Hardly ever seen salmon in hotels in Sweden and Denmark. In short, everything was satisfactory.

Truly one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well accommodated and comfortable throughout. When we arrived at the hotel it was 11AM, so I mentioned to the front desk staff that I know it was far too early for us to receive our room (check in is typically at 3PM) and that we would like to simply drop off our bags. Without any special requests, the front desk staff immediately prepared our room keys of us to check in right away, which was hugely appreciated since we had caught a very early morning flight in. We loved the room. It was very comfortable for the 3 of us, although a bit tight but that's what we expected for hotel rooms in Europe. The bathroom was well fitted and had all the basic toiletries required (shampoo, body wash, hand soap), however we hoped to have body lotion as well, so we asked housekeeping whether any was available and they immediately brought 3 LARGE bottles for each of us to use. I have never seen such massive toiletries and in such generous quantities supplied at any hotel before, which again made us feel very well taken care of. Finally on our check out day our flight was not until 6PM and since checkout is typically at 11AM I requested for just a 1 hr extension. Although they were very busy for it being the beginning of summer holidays, without any hesitation the front desk staff extended our checkout time to 3PM. I was once again very pleasantly surprised and appreciative. My last note is to touch on the complimentary tea and coffee always available in the lobby, as well as the fabulous buffet breakfast they served. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!
