Smile Hotel Hotels in Osaka

The main reason choosing this hotel is because near to Doton plaza ( bus to Kansai airport). Like their laundry room (vending machine) as they hv separated male and female , and there are total 5 washing machine and 5 dryer. The space is considered spacious compared to other hotel, but bed is small double bed, which is very uncomfortable. The amenities are very basic. We able to open two 28” luggage in the room at the same time and can keep under the bed frame. There is elevator (through carpark) from subway if you bringing luggages.

The biggest advantage is the high cost performance. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk from Tennoji Station, but it is very convenient to go directly to the airport. The room is quite large but the bathroom is small compared to other hotels. There is a bathing area but it is shared by men and women at different times. The women's bath is only available until 21:00 in the evening, so if you come back late, you can only take a bath in your room.

Smile Hotel truly put a great smile on my face :D!! Location was close to the Shin-Osaka metro and JR station, cleanliness was AWESOME (truly impeccable, super comfortable), facilities were on many floors and very functional (I was so happy to be on a floor with a laundry room), and my gosh the service from the front desk staff was 10/10. I interacted with a bespectacled Japanese/Chinese lady and an Indian lady mostly, and both of them were super professional, thoughtful, offered solutions proactively and were really pleasant to interact with. I recommend this hotel to anyone whole-heartedly and I hope to stay here again if I'm ever back in Osaka. Super excellent!!!!

I stayed here after reading reviews saying it was new and clean. It's a typical business hotel, with minimal amenities and facilities, but it's sufficient. The restaurants around are closed on weekends. It seems to be a good choice for business travelers and those who just want to sleep. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. I hope the number of inbound tourists doesn't increase.

A comfortable hotel to stay in whilst visiting Osaka. A highly rate its cleanliness and politeness from the staff members, as well as the amenities in the area. I will surely book this hotel again if I get the chance to visit Osaka in the future.

Although it was a smoking room, there was no particular smell and it was clean. It is only natural that it is a little old. To be more specific, the bottom of the shampoo cases was blackened and there was dust on the bathroom exhaust fan, which was visible when I was in the bath. The receptionist and staff were very polite. The hotel is close to the station and there are many family restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

Staying at Smile Hotel was a pleasant 7 night stay. McDonald’s was a stone throw away and it is near 2 subway lines that have plenty of shopping and food. Our room at the 13th also have ice machine and some floors have vending machines. Thanks for the great accommodations!
