Canopy by Hilton Osaka Umeda Reviews

Hilton’s Canopy is their offering, similar to Marriott’s W hotel chain. Newly built, it is located next to the Grand Front in Osaka. Can be difficult to find upon arrival at Osaka Station, but with a little patience, you will be rewarded as it can be a sanctuary away from the crowds.

Very new hotel, location, service, and hotel breakfast was excellent. Need to wait for map to improve uber and taxi don’t know where to drop off

Very good and new hotel but difficult to find the entrance from the road if coming by taxi or car. otherwise excellent in other aspects!

Good location, though a bit off from the main Umeda shopping / dining area, but it is a brand new hotel, so you cannot expected it be in the prime location in the developed Umeda area. Very big and spacious room, in terms of hotel room size in Japan in general. Heating is a bit too strong in the room, so you may feel quite dry in the room. The stairs connecting the main entrance to the roadside and the mall of the hotel is a problem to those travellers with big suitcase, it is not easy to locate the elevators. Minor errors here or there but still a great choice if you would like to stay at Umeda area.

One of the best hotels in Osaka. Definitely recommend this hotel. Excellent staffs.

Excellent staff service, but location a little far from the shops and biggest issue is the shower is not covered. I shared the room with family member, I don't want them seeing me naked!!! This room design is crazy, that was the most disappointing part for the price I paid (400 USD for one night)

I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Canopy Osaka, and everything exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect - just a few minutes walk to Umeda shopping district and Osaka Station. There are convenience stores, small restaurants, and coffee shops downstairs. The room was a good size for a family of three. I saw some reviews saying that the shower had no screen, but the wooden sliding door in the room can be pulled all the way down to completely screen off the shower area 😂. The staff was very friendly and helpful during my stay. The customer service was excellent and the whole team made me feel right at home. A special thank you to Victoria at the front desk, who went out of her way to make sure my family and I had a perfect stay. She even carefully drew a detailed map for my son to help us find a nearby tempura restaurant. The whole experience was great, and I will definitely choose this hotel again in the future!

Very nice hotel, I stayed in a suite with a good view, good facilities, and it was very new. The service was also very good. The breakfast was of high quality. I will stay here again in the future. It is only 200 to 300 meters away from JR. There is a supermarket and restaurant on the second floor.

The hotel is in an excellent location, connected to the Grand Front Osaka shopping mall and 10 minutes to JR Osaka Station, so you don't have to worry about rain. The staff are attentive, especially during breakfast every day. There are many food choices and the taste is good. The hotel is newly renovated, the style is very fresh and fashionable.

The room is comfortable, the hotel staff is kind and friendly, and the location is quite convenient. There are different types of restaurants nearby. After the nearby buildings are completed, the whole area will be a good place~

The hotel is in a good location, just a few hundred meters away from Osaka Station. However, because the lobby is on the 11th floor and there are some shops downstairs, the signs are not obvious, so we walked around the building for a long time to find the hotel elevator. The hotel is very new, very designed, artistic and beautiful. The room is not big, but the layout is reasonable, the facilities are complete, the towels are of good quality, and the equipment is new. I like it very much. The breakfast food is rich and of good quality. The service staff is very considerate. When the guests take the apples, they will peel and core them. This stay has changed my past impression of Hilton. I will choose this hotel next time I go to Osaka.

I was extremely satisfied with this hotel, with its wonderful space and hospitality! It was easily accessible and, of course, the interior was beautiful! And above all, the service and hospitality were wonderful! I'll definitely come back next time I stay in Osaka!
