A rather old hotel, the reception is friendly, pets are allowed in the hotel!!!! , and the parking fees are high, but what distinguishes it is its location.

Close to Universal Studios, but still need to take uber if you missed the shuttle bus or you did not reserve ahead. Close to outlets too, but not walking friendly as it’s kind of beside a freeway. The hotel is kind of old also.

Parking and check-in was difficult. Really no where to park and if you do park you have to pay $33 per night. There is a valet option for $41 per night. There is no where to stop to get checked in, but the valet was nice enough to allow me to park near a dumpster. The second time we stayed here we got dropped off and picked up. Starbucks on site was a little busy and expensive. Overall this was best nightly deal we could find, but the cost of parking would be a deterrent in the future.

Everything was great except the shower didn't work at all. They sent a guy up and he was able to get the water flowing. I got in the shower after he left and while the water did flow it was scalding hot at all temperature levels. I advised the front desk at checkout, they thanked me for letting them know. I think it would have been nice if they took some off the bill as the reasons for staying in a hotel are literally to sleep and clean-up.

They have a pool and can easily pick up uber eats. And they give us cookie for the welcome. Its really delicious

great hotel on the walking distance to Universal studios Orlando. clean rooms, fists kids with the parents. the worst thing is that they may charge you for parking even though you don’t have a car, but they said they will fix that mistake.. many resident complaining about the high parking charge 30$ considering that other Hotels offer free parking. but you save by parking on the hotel and walk to universal studios the theme park parking 🅿️ the electric ⚡️ cars charger was slow and only one charger working. it's going to cost you parking and higher charging cost on slow charger if you were lucky no one else was using it. but in general the hotel was nice, and the staff were very friendly helpful with smiles.

Loved the ability to store my luggage before check in, and use the complimentary shuttle to visit Universal Studios during the day. Received complimentary warm cookies and bottled water at check in! Made the start of my stay at Double Tree great!

Excellent Location

Double trees always a nice hotel to stay at and the free cookies and check in or whenever you ask are always a delightful treat. For this day we found that there was really nothing around the hotel itself as far as other restaurant choices although it’s very close to universal and they have a shuttle bus which was convenient, we ended up moving to a location nearby that had many more restaurants around, the rooms were clean the pool areas. Nice the restaurants food was good although a little pricey if you would like to use the pool areas, I think this could be an excellent choice.

It a great hotel with easy access to Universal it’s a nice walk. You don’t have to deal with the car traffic getting into or out of the parks. Starbucks is a plus for that morning Java!
