Hotel Route-Inn Shinano Omachi Ekimae Reviews

Lovely stay to top off my solo exploration of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine route, Hakuba and Matsumoto. It had the most comfortable room with every amenities and service thought of for travellers, like free coffee at the lobby, restaurant dinner service, luggage storage and forwarding from Toyama Dentetsu Station, coin vending machines and laundry facilities, a public bath after a full day outdoors. The breakfast was also plentiful, extensive and delicious. Location is just opposite Shinano Omachi JR Station and Ogizawa bus stop. After three days of hikes and mountain huts, I was grateful for all the creature comforts. Will stay here again when I return in other seasons.

Excellent hotel. The location is superb, just 1 min from the bus stop to the Alpine route Oguzawa station n 2mins to the Train station of Shinano-Omachi. Supermarket is a few minutes walk while eateries are not far off. Beware that shops closed early in the town. Room is clean. There is a hot bath on the ground floor. Breakfast is buffet. Not bad. There are budget BnB nearby but worth to have a good night stay in a nice hotel.

Very good location just opposite the train station. Room was clean. Enjoyed the public bath.

The hotel was near the rail station. There is a supermarket, drug store, and Daiso nearby. The hotel provides baggage forwarding service to those who are doing the alpine route. The breakfast spread was good, and the food items were replenished.

It was a very valuable experience for the price paid. Convenient, free parking near the building, clean room, great onsen, near delicious restaurants, reasonable prices.

Located right near the train station, this is a quiet clean hotel with an onsen and a restaurant. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast was quite a good buffet. We ate dinner there and the food was also good. 

I was very happy to stay in Route Inn Shinano-Omachi. It is only 2 minutes to train station and bus stop which provides great and easy access to traveller and saves time rushing around to  access public transport! The rooms are spacious compared other hotels I stayed in Japan. Staff were very nice and helpful and hotel offers complimentary breakfast which is great Japanese breakfast!

Awesome hotel, really good amenities, absolutely everything was provided and for such a reasonable price. Great location and super helpful staff.

Everything is good if you consider this hotel; location (the best), breakfast (varieties, full buffet setup), English speaking staff (all of them speak good English), public bath (great option that is available for guest) & baggage forwarding (is handling right at the hotel). I would recommend friends or anyone. Thank you for being accommodated.

Convenient location right next to station . New modern facility. Rooms small but functional. On site bath house was excellent.

Convenient good staff

If you plan to travel the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, this hotel is your best choice. The bus stop to Ogizawa and Shinano-Omachi station are right in front of the hotel. They also provide luggage forwarding service to Toyama station for those who do the one-way trip on the tateyama kurobe alpine route, which allow you to travel super early as you don't have to wait until the luggage forwarding service (at shinano omachi station) open at 7.50am. The room is clean. The price is reasonable+ come with complimentary breakfast. 10/10 would recommend.

Location is literally right infront of Shinano-Omachi station, extremely convenient. Walking distance to Delicia supermarket, Daiso etc. Food quality provided for breakfast was top notch. Onsen was clean and hot enough to enjoy! Extremely value for money and great experience!
