After a long drive, we enjoyed our stay at the motel. The host was kind and friendly. Safe and secure parking on the premises, free wifi, the room was spacious, had comfy bed, pillows and clean bedsheets including a wee kitchenette with almost everything in it, milk, sugar, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, kettle, bar fridge, a stove, utensils to cook, toaster. You also have a heater in the room. You can certainly enjoy a hot shower. Hair dryer, soap and shampoo were provided. The only negative thing is you can hear the voice of the guests in the other room and each time they open the tap you can hear the waterflow.

It is clean and room is comfortable. Close to town. Good place for a stopover to see blue penguin.

Everything was good except when someone was showering, I can hear the pipe water sound when lying down on my bed.

Guest laundry open 08:30am and close early, but check out time 10am.. I need to rush the staff to open laudry door for me at 08:32

this was really a no frills motel, all amenities were there bur wldnt say was great, location not bad as city centre was a 5min drive away. we were there during winter but the heating was inadequate for a room as big as this... so that was not really satisfactory

Pros: location is good, near to a grocery store. Room is large, lovely toilet. a small microwave. Cons: Not satisfied with the breakfast. Juices and milk were served in glasses in the evening before the next day and they were just covered with a plastic. Dont think this is very hygienic. Cleanliness of the room is moderate, the linen is clean but we are not sure about the sheet covering it, looks not clean. A bit expensive to be served with opened milk and juices (covered with plastic) only. Other than that, its ok.

The Heritage Court Motor Lodge is in the centre of Oamaru. Its boss is a Chinese. Room and equipments are quite good and with breakfast. But sad, the light in my restroom works out.

The room is big enough. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils. Friendly to use.

This place is great. It is hosted by a Chinese tour group. The front desk in the hotel is also Chinese. There are Chinese reminders everywhere. The reminders in the room are also in Chinese. There is a bathtub, a kitchen, and a refrigerator in the room. The room is quite big. 

The hotel is a ten-minute drive from the Blue Penguin attraction. But the room is very dilapidated and shows signs of age. The hot water is sometimes hot and sometimes cold. There are also flies and mosquitoes. The wi-fi was complete rubbish and didn't work. The hotel seems to be hosting Chinese tour groups. Everyone, please don't fall into the trap.

The hotel is a little far from the attractions. The rooms are spacious, the facilities are complete, and there is free parking. The worst thing is that you have to check out at 10 o'clock. It is also convenient to eat around. Many attractions in Oamaru are very beautiful.

The hotel has a good environment and a large yard for parking, which is very convenient. The boss is really nice. We two girls rented a car to travel and went to see blue penguins at night. We forgot to turn off the car lights. The next day, the car ran out of power. The boss and the front desk lady were very active in helping us solve the problem, running around. With this layout, the hotel will not be bad. It is very convenient to see blue penguins. It is very close by driving for seven or eight minutes. It is very convenient to live here!

Facilities: Small town hotel, simple facilities. Service: Chinese front desk, we arrived at 9:10, the front desk said that we will close at 9 pm, because we are late, we have to pay a service fee of 30 New Zealand dollars. The female receptionist said that the booking page says that late arrivals require a fee, but on the Ctrip booking page, I only saw that the front desk is closed at 9 o'clock and did not find a reminder that late arrivals require a fee. I feel bad. If you are late and cannot pick up the key by yourself and need to pay a service fee, I hope it will be clearly marked.
