Hot spring Hotels in Noboribetsu

Our stay in Daiichi Takimotokan was by far the best Onsen plus food experience in Japan this year. Dinner buffet was second to none in both quality, diversity and quantity. Onsen also was clean and very convenient to use. Open door onsen was well managed and with great atmosphere.

Amazing ryokan. Staff was attentive and most spoke English, which was appreciated. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the baths were relaxing. The food was all great. Both breakfast and dinner were among the best meals we had on our Japan trip.

Ryotei Hanayura has a good location and near to the famous spot by 5mins walk. We are provided free admission ticket to enter the Park for a night walk. The hotel room is half Japanese and half Western, big and clean. Dinner is served with buffet with various option of food.

The suite with private onsen was awesome.The hair shampoo was good also for my hair.Just can’t find any facial/skin care product (facial cleanser,face lotion) in the room.But the location is good,the 7-eleven just right in front of the hotel,u can always get something there.And walking distance to those tourist spots.The dinner and breakfast is so-so only, .

The room was great, just like a vacation. The food was great, too. The food was delicious. But the downside was that the whole city was filled with a sulfur smell (rotten eggs). I was woken up several times by the smell.

Love the location of the hotel. Near bus station. Walk distance to famous hell valley and many shop around it. The hot spring is good. The staff was nice and friendly.

Great location. Very clean hotel perhaps the cleanest we’ve so far for this trip. Staff are nice and helpful. The dinner and breakfast buffet are great. Downside is that one onsen pool is rotate between male and female so the date we stay it’s male pool and cannot be used.

Already the second time to stay at this hotel, although the room is old, but the ordinary room is very large, hotel buffet - long leg crab legs super fresh 👍🏻👍🏻 And shuttle Noboribetsu JR - bus to station 14, get off at the hotel door, very convenient 👍🏻👍🏻 The hot spring has five pools, my favorite open-air hot spring is the sulfur spring🤭

Overall, it is good. There are two hot springs. The open-air hot spring experience is great. The advantages are the common advantages of Japanese hotels. Let me talk about the disadvantages. 1. The Japanese style is very strict. No one will be checked in before three o'clock. I arrived half an hour early and there was nothing I could do. I had to wait nearby. Maybe most of the people I accept are tour groups. That's why. 2. The location is on a high slope, relatively far away from Hell Valley, Bear Ranch, and hot spring streets where you can eat. 3. I wrote that someone would contact me to make the bed, but the time for making the bed coincided with the time of the dinner card, so I couldn’t wait in the room. But the overall experience was pretty good. It was very comfortable to soak in the open-air bath at night, and the bathrobe was also very comfortable. What I didn't expect was that the mattress made by myself on the tatami was extremely comfortable, and the texture of the quilt was also very comfortable. In addition, regarding hygiene issues, it was indeed like nothing else. The customer said that there are some deep stains, but there is no smell. I can accept it. The best thing about this place are the absolutely amazing kaiseki ryori meals served to your room. This is an incredible authentic Japanese accommodation experience so make sure you get a Japanese room and meals included. The one downside was that they offered no practical solution at all to getting my clothes washed. The onsen baths are ok but there is no view.
