Niseko Goshiki Onsen Ryokan
4.2/59 Reviews
This hot spring hotel is nestled in the picturesque mountains, perfect for those traveling by car. With its traditional Japanese-style architecture. The hot springs offered here are excellent quality. However, please be aware that the hotel is located a bit far from convenience store. To make your stay more convenient, it is advisable to come prepared with any necessary items or food beforehand.
SnowDog Village
4.5/517 Reviews
SnowDog’s ethos is all about a personalised experience with the feeling of a family business. The friendly staff were mostly locals who spoke excellent English and were hugely helpful with tips on where to eat, onsen and ski. We stayed in a larger sized studio which was perfect for our preference for simple comforts but no frills. The kitchenette meant we could have breakfast at home, the thermostat was cozy and the shower had great water pressure and heat. The layout is sleek but warm, cleverly designed with plenty of storage so it always felt clear. Looking out the window onto fresh powder every morning was a dream. A drying room near the reception meant we didn’t need to store our skis in our room, and the staff kindly gave us lifts to the local bus stop (5 mins walk away) in the mornings and afternoons. The location isn’t quite ‘ski-in/ski-out’- it’s a 15 minute walk to the closest chairlift, 10 minutes by bus to the main resort chairlift (Niseko Village), and 20 minutes by bus to the busier shops and restaurants of Hirafu. The high simple and comfortable rooms and high quality amenities paired with a warm personal feel from the staff made SnowDog perfect for us as a young early professional couple. The smaller room size and travel times to the slopes might be obstacles for others with different budgets.
Hotel Resort Inn Niseko
4.7/50 Reviews
Dave and his wife make Hotel Resort Inn such a lovely place. We've stayed at many hotels around the world but this one is the most special one for us. Here are the reasons why you should choose Hotel Resort Inn: 1) Clean and comfortable room: the rooms are kept spotless clean. 2) Private onsen: you can book the private onsen on the 2nd floor in advance. It is such a treat after a day of skiing. 3) Access to ski resorts: Dave drive you to different ski resorts every morning at 9am. Dave will drop you at the most convenient places so that you can buy lift pass or get on the gondola quickly. Unless you stayed at a ski-in and ski-out hotel in Niseko, you will need to walk or take shuttle bus to the lifts anyway. We even managed to travel to Rusutsu for two days during our stay. The hotel is 3 minutes from a bus stop where you can take ~8:30 bus to Rusutsu (only 30 minutes ride). You can choose to take 15:15 bus or 17:15 bus to return and Dave can pick you up from the bus stop. 4) Ski rental: Dave will arrange ski rental at a nearby rental shop and the price is quite reasonable. 5) Meals: absolutely delicious buffet breakfast. If you want to eat dinner in Niseko Village, Dave will drive you to nearby restaurants. If you want to relax, you can order simple meals from Dave's wife and relax in the common area in the hotel. 6) Hospitality: this is like a home away from home. Dave and his wife worked so hard to make sure all guests have the best ski holiday. We cannot wait to come back for the next ski holiday.
Niseko Grand Hotel

I visited on a hot spring tour near Sapporo. It is an old hot spring inn. The bath is on the 1st floor, with an inside bath and an open-air bath. In the back of the women's open-air bath, there is a mixed bathing garden open-air bath. I borrowed and wore a free hot water suit and entered at night and in the morning. At night, it happened that no one was chartered! I feel like I've rejuvenated by occupying the stars and the moon alone. In the morning, I was healed while watching Yamabuki and Shirakaba while breathing in the fresh and refreshing air. Meals are Japanese sets at night. Buffet in the morning. The taste is decent. The room was a bed.
Niseko Annupuri Onsen Yugokorotei

I stayed in a plan with two meals, breakfast and dinner, in a larger room than usual. Originally the building of the hotel was quite old, but the room was well cleaned and I didn't feel uncomfortable. However, the bath and toilet in the room are a small unit bath, so it was a little difficult to use. For dinner, we didn't use high-end ingredients, but the adult meal was very delicious as it was properly prepared. However, it was disappointing that children's meals seemed to be ready-made frozen foods such as American dogs, hamburgers, and omelets. Since it's an affiliated inn of Bikkuri Donkey, I wanted something as delicious as a hamburger. The breakfast was extremely satisfying with a tremendous number of items and volume. I think it's worth staying just to eat this breakfast. Needless to say, the hot spring is a natural hot spring without any heating and water disinfection, and the open-air bath is also the best because it is managed at an appropriate temperature. This time, there were few visitors for a day trip, so I was able to enjoy it in a chartered state. From now on, I want you to continue to do business as it is now.
