We went to this lovely hotel in the ‘Cloud Forest’ directly after National Holiday with our family of 4 (2 toddlers) and my parents. We had two Songyuan rooms which were totally amazing. Stunning view of the trees and river and extremely spacious and thought out. In fact the entire resort is beautiful and our kids LOVED the golf cart rides to dinner. We got very unlucky with weather as it poured the two days we were there but we still managed the walk to Chiang Kai-sheks villa and water feature - which was beautiful and interesting. On a slightly different note, with a western perspective there were a couple areas for improvement. Ideally the restaurant menus could be translated to English and left in the rooms (it’s a nightmare trying to translate a menu, pick what to order with 2 hungry kids at a restaurant). Also, the playroom wasn’t a playroom while we were there which was a big disappointment since it was raining. Not as advertised - just carpet in a room (which the kids did still have fun running around on). Finally, a good hiking map of the area in the room would have been appreciated too.

I recently stayed at Nanyuan Hotel during my visit to Ningbo, and I must say, I was impressed. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a lovely bathtub to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a complementary bowl of fruits on arrival, which was a nice touch. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, even offering complementary yogurt during my stay. The breakfast spread was good, although I would have preferred more western food options. Unfortunately, when I visited, they had run out of fried bacon. However, this did not detract from the overall experience. I also appreciated the option of a late check-out, which allowed me to leave after 1 PM. Overall, I would recommend Nanyuan Hotel to anyone visiting Ningbo. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, and the complementary extras were a nice touch. I would definitely consider staying here again, provided the price is right. Apologies about my photos, I remembered to take them only when I was a bout to check out.

I took my children to Cixi to play. After arriving at the hotel, the whole hotel environment is not bad, and the children also like it very much. The waiter named Chen Hong at the front desk of the registration room upgraded our room for free. The buffet service in the morning is also very thoughtful. Overall, the experience of checking in is not bad

The restaurant on the fourth floor is convenient, but it is not as good as the previous guests said. There are snacks around the hotel, but not many, there are fruit shops, and there is a Pizza Hut. The waiter's attitude is average, unlike the waiters in other hotels who lived before, they will usually say hello when they meet. The guests next door could hear the words last night, the sound insulation was not very good, the hotel was very provincial, the TV light was turned off at night, the network was disconnected, even together, the first day did not understand, why suddenly can not find the room wife.

This is the third time I have been there, and the hotel is as good as ever. The service is very good, the room is very comfortable, and the 168 set meal in the evening is also delicious. This time we went, apart from a group, we were the only two who enjoyed it. If you buy the package, you will get two tickets to Wulongtan. I will come again next time.
