When we go there they said they were overbooked. We did not even stay there. The place was very dirty though.

Except the location, everything else is disappointing.

I was staying in the Central Park West Hostel for 3 nights. The room smelled like pee all the time. The street where the hostel was located on didn't even smell like that, so I was confused what happened in that room. The smell was teally bad... In the bathroom there were plenty of trash, it wasn't very tidy. The service and the location were fine.

Well located in Upper West Side, close to Central Park and to the 87th subway station of line 1.

This place is not what it seems, the pictures you see are just a cover up. They did a remodel of what it could look like on some app and posted those pictures like if that’s what it looks like , but it’s not. The room they gave me had two bunk beds that were already occupied and the sheets where yellow. To the owner of this hotel please be honest and don’t scam travelers by showing them something you don’t really have.

Over booked

Unless you want to live in a horrible homeless enclave, just go and live there. Apart from the location, there is no other place that I can say is good. You need hot water to take a shower but there is no hot water, and the corridor smells bad A bunch of roommates are just homeless people and are not here to travel. And extremely dirty pillows The disgusting bathroom has no hot water and no one cleans it. They only clear out the trash. Didn't clean the room either A bunch of cockroaches in public area The heater in the room keeps making the sound of water vapor I feel like I'm about to explode, and even though the weather is very cold But the heating couldn't be controlled and it was super hot. It was as hot as minus 4 degrees outside. Wearing short-sleeves in the room is so hot that I can't sleep. I suspect the heater is broken. Anyway, if you want to experience it, come and experience it. It’s an eye-opener.

Don't book it, you've made a mistake. There is a West Side Youth Hostel on 63rd Street, which is more professional and sanitary than this one. For the same price, you can live alone there, but here you can share a room. It's speechless. There are cockroaches everywhere, and the bathroom is not clean. There is only one sheet, not even a quilt. The one on 63rd Street is very large, and there are rooms available for you to move in in advance. Turn left and cross the street to reach Central Park, and turn right and walk 350 meters to reach Lincoln Center. The 1207 I stayed at before is better than the 856 this time.

The location was excellent, close to Central Park and the subway station! This time I only stayed one night, so I only stayed to sleep, so I chose this hostel for the first time. I was a bit worried about the smell outside the room, but I was very grateful that the other person in the double room was Japanese!!

It is near Central Park and is convenient for travel, but the hygiene is very poor. There is no quilt on the bed and I was almost freezing at night. However, the front desk staff was very enthusiastic to provide assistance, which exceeded my expectations.

This price is pretty good overall. It's very close to central.park, and it's convenient to go there. I pass by here every day and it feels very good. For this price, don't be too demanding on hygiene.
