M Social Hotel Times Square New York

Times Square
Overall, I had a good experience in the hotel. The rooms are rather pricy but that’s normal in NY, especially if you have a room overlooking Times Square. The staff is (mostly) friendly and courteous. There is a 10$ voucher that you can use every day in the bar. They hotel has room service which is not a given in NY after the COVID related down scaling of services in hotels due to lack of guests and staff. The food is OK, though the quality and quantity varies from day to day. Be careful with your laundry service. I overlooked that the day I was handing in my laundry was a holiday and I was charged a hefty $140 for a few underwear, T Shirts and socks due to an additional holiday/Sunday fee. However, after raising the matter with the hotel manager - who handled the matter in a very friendly and professional manner unlike the operator I spoke to first - a discount was added to my bill that compensated for the additional holiday laundry fee. Since it was me that had overlooked the holiday, this was a nice and welcome gesture that I much appreciated. Overall, the hotel can be recommended though the rooms are a little too small for the price. They are, however, modern, clean and comfortable.

Midtown West
The hotel was amazing the location was also good. The only thing was I there was no room service with a 22month old rooms service is always a good shout. We required milk for the baby and the receptionist said we don’t do this service. The lifts were very tight and of course busy so with a stroller it was always a hit & miss when you can get into the lift. The cleaniness and staff were very pleasant and professional. I would recommend this hotel to other visitors and will stay here again.
Arthouse Hotel
4.2/5117 Reviews
Upper West Side
I was here on business and stayed at the Arthouse for four nights. Being born and raised in New York, I wanted to be in a hotel that felt more intimate, away from the hustle of New York. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was perfect. They have a great management team and staff, management consistently present in the lobby, greeting guests and making sure that things are running smoothly. There is a small, intimate bar that opens in the evening serving great cocktails. Service is genuine and on spot. Great location on the upper west side, on a side street - Sarafina's is off of the lobby serving delicious food, steps away from the lobby. Lobby is a great place to socialize or get some work done - beds are super comfortable and the room was very clean...really loved this property and will defnitely be back!
The Hotel at Times Square
3.8/544 Reviews
Times Square
Hotel location is good, near Times Square, not far from the Empire State Building. I charged another $ 87 for two days, and Ctrip reminded me of $ 40 a day, which is estimated to have risen again. That adds up to almost $ 200 a day.
The James New York - NoMad
4.1/5101 Reviews
Gramercy
Landed in JFK pretty late but check in around midnight was smooth. There was no doorman at the entrance so I had to carry a huge luggage up the stairs to the hotel lobby to check in. The hotel room was tiny and had barely the space to keep my luggage but the room itself was clean and had everything I needed for a short stay. Checking out was equally smooth and quick as checking in. Overall it was a pretty good short stay for a pretty jet lagged traveler.
Refinery Hotel
4.3/5103 Reviews
Times Square
Refinery is first of all a good location. It ’s convenient to go to Broadway to watch a show or to go to midtown. The nearby Bryant Park has my favorite breakfast shop. West 40th Street has good Spanish food. Michelin ’s chef ’s table is the highest in the world at West 39. Street ... you can understand so much. In fact, the room facilities are just like that. In contrast, I prefer their hotel public facilities and bathrooms. Their rooftop is a relatively popular restaurant with nice night views.
