Aloft Long Island City-Manhattan View

LaGuardia Airport Area
My daughter and I shared a room with double beds, the room was very spacious with everything you need (iron, ironing board, blow dryer, full bottles of shampoo - conditioner - body wash, etc.). Close to NYC, just across the bridge, Uber and taxis right outside the door. Front desk staff so helpful, friendly and professional. Very safe.

LaGuardia Airport Area
My husband travels for work often and the Aloft LaGuardia hotel is absolutely AMAZING for so many reasons. The proximity to LaGuardia with the shuttle to/from airport is awesome, convenient and so helpful. The rooms are always clean, quiet and well appointed for his stays. However, the best part of the Aloft LaGuardia is the STAFF and they should be recognized for how wonderful they all are. When I initially called the hotel to book a reservation, I had the pleasure of speaking with Melissa Pacheco who is the Assistant General Manager of the hotel. Melissa is absolutely one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with at any hotel. She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for customers and should be recognized by Marriott for what she does for customers. Also, my husband stays at Aloft often and the staff at the front desk are equally fantastic (Eddie and Quincy). Eddie Fuentes is the night desk manager and he is awesome too and has helped me very often with making sure my husband's stays there are perfect. This hotel is a GEM at the LaGuardia airport in NYC...however the staff there are truly the BEST part of the hotel and always strive to make customers happy! I hope that when reading this review if you select to stay at Aloft LGA you have the pleasure of meeting Melissa, Eddie and Quincy at the front desk....your experience will be amazing and you will have a terrific stay for certain!
Aloft Manhattan Downtown - Financial District
3.8/5102 Reviews
Wall Street/Financial District
The hotel is in a good environment, off the Wall Street, there is a subway station on the side. American hotels basically do not have a hot water bottle. Many people recommend multi-day travel with an electric kettle to boil water (of course, the conversion plug is necessary). The hotel does not have toothbrushes and slippers and needs to bring your own. Other hangers are available, the hotel is equipped with an iron, ironing is convenient
Aloft New York Brooklyn

Downtown Brooklyn
Where do I start... first, check in was at 3. We arrived at about 3:05 and they told us they didn't have a room. We had already paid. So they had us and some other people wait while they ”looked for rooms” and then had them cleaned. After about 45 minutes of waiting, they said 10 more minutes. 15 minutes after that, I went up to them to say it had now been an hour. They asked ”what's your name again?” and then gave me a room key and told me 805. I go up to 805 and the key doesn't open the door so I start trying other doors and the key opens 806. Then I have to go back down to make sure 806 is in fact my room. This whole time the three young Asian men working at the front desk were extremely standoffish, as if we were annoying them staying at their hotel. We had one small body wash for three people. The next day we went to ask for more body wash and had to wait while the front desk guy talked on his cell phone for a while. He asked when we needed it by and we said... like now? So he gave us another single small body wash. Turns out the ”rooftop bar” of the hotel is not affiliated with the hotel in any way, so you have to pay a cover just to get in. Oh, and although there are signs even in the elevator that you should go to the 24th floor to get there, that is not the case. You have to go outside the hotel and a few doors down, which you wouldn't know, because signs tell you otherwise. I have tried to call the front desk 7 times and each time no one answers. This place seriously sucks.

Clean, modern and comfortable no-frills hotel. Great Chelsea location with convenient access to Penn Station, subway (#1 train) at corner, and walking distance to so much. Reasonable rate for a room with a panoramic city view. Friendly staff. Perfect for a short stay. Even got daily maid service on a 2 night stay.
