New Taipei City Tamsui District Hotels

The hotel is a little far from the city center, but there is a shuttle bus from the hotel to Tamsui MRT Station. There is a bus every hour. Reservation is required. It is only a few minutes' drive. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to walk to the old street. The hotel service is very good. , so considerate. The room is so big and comfortable. The surrounding environment is also very good. Opposite is Tamsui River and on the other side is the golf course. My room is right opposite one of the holes, so the view is excellent. The restaurant is large and comfortable. The breakfast tastes good too, and the hotel is worth staying at.

It is about a 5-minute walk from the MRT station, with convenient transportation. The space is large and has a bathtub, and the TV can be rotated to suit the current position. There is breakfast included and it is delicious.

The room was really nice! big! It feels like I stayed in a room on Paradise Island at a low price. XD The hot spring bathtub in the room is also very good, which is enough for two people to soak at the same time. The mattress is indeed harder than that of an average hotel. It's not the kind that makes you feel soft and sink into the bed, but it's not so hard that you can't sleep on it. The sofa in the living room is really comfortable, and it's quite nice to watch TV in the living room. It's a pity that the air conditioning in the room cannot be adjusted, it can only be turned on and off. There is an option to select heating and air supply on the smart control panel, but when you press it, it feels like it just turns off the air conditioning. It was winter with the temperature over 10 degrees when we checked in. It was very cold when the air conditioner was on, and very stuffy when it was not on. The large balcony can be used for ventilation in the morning, but the air conditioning is inconvenient when you close the doors and windows at night. Overall it is very good and highly recommended.

Staying at Tamsui Chengyi Cultural Hotel is an unforgettable journey. When you come to Tamsui, how can you miss the fun of taking a ferry and visiting the old streets? Taking a ferry across the Tamsui River, with the gentle breeze and sparkling water, one feels like traveling through time. There are a dazzling array of snack stalls and handicraft shops on the old streets, showing strong local culture. Whether it’s freshwater aji, fish cakes or sweet taro balls, every bite is unforgettable. Strolling along the old streets, you can not only feel the living atmosphere of the local residents, but also gain an in-depth understanding of the history and culture of Tamsui. In addition, the visits to Hongmao City and the University of Truth were also very fruitful. As an important relic of Taiwan's history, Hongmao City has witnessed the cultural blending of different periods. Walking there, you feel like you can hear the echoes of history. Truth University attracts people with its beautiful architecture and quiet campus. Every corner of the campus is like a carefully arranged picture frame, suitable for taking photos. This trip is not limited to Tamsui. The MRT allows us to easily connect to downtown Taipei, extending the scope of our trip. The grandeur and solemnity of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall are deeply moved, while the prosperity of Ximending shows the modern side of Taipei. The Normal University Night Market is a paradise for gourmet food. From creative dishes to traditional snacks, every dish is mouth-watering and is the perfect end to the journey. Overall, this trip to Tamsui and Taipei was full of surprises and pleasures. From comfortable accommodation to rich attractions to diverse food culture, each part adds a different color to this journey. There is a room for 4 people, with a sea view, the bed is enough for sleeping, and the bathroom is also spacious, but there is not much space in the room to open the suitcase. You have to move the sofa to open the suitcase. Hygiene is OK, but the shower head is too old, and the height and angle of the shower stand cannot be adjusted, which is inconvenient. The waiters were attentive and the breakfast style was not enough.

Because I ordered it for a friend. So I haven’t experienced it personally yet. I will try it out next time I have a chance.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly. It was a little disappointing that the breakfast buffet was closed while we were there and we were given vouchers to a nearby restaurant. But even that was still a good experience. The location is good, as you can walk to the night market in just a few minutes, and can walk to the river in just over 10 minutes.

The view of the room is very beautiful, full sea view as we are staying at the top floor. The room is very spacious. The bedding is ok but a bit soft for me. The bathroom is good and the pressure of the water is very stable and the temperature of the hot water is good. The location of the hotel is a bit far away from the city but very close to the subway. If you want to visit Tamtsui, it is one of the good choice. The management should improve the cleanliness of the room, but compared with the price, it is okay for me to come again.

Great location and wonderful view. The room is clean but the only down side is that the Wi-Fi is too is a bit too slow.

Location is good, approximately 800m from Tamsui MRT station but a bit far from places of interest if mention as walking distance. Travellers who are able to walk will not mind it. However, other aspects were superb, spacious room, almost perfect cleanliness, comfortable bed. All basic amenities are provided. And the best thing was breakfast buffet provided. Although simple, but was tasty enough.
