Romantic Hotels in New Taipei City

"Had a wonderful stay at this hotel for 10days and 9nights. Thank you for the complimentary room upgrade – it was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and the bed was incredibly soft and large, making for a very comfortable night's sleep. Appreciated the complimentary bottled water as well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist whenever needed. The front desk even had a luggage scale available, which was really convenient for travel preparations. The hotel's location is excellent, it's surrounded by convenience stores like Family Mart and small shopping malls, with easy access to both the metro and bus stops, making it perfect for getting around the city. Overall, it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be returning for another stay!"

"Outstanding! Seemed to be heavily discounted when I booked, as it was the 2nd cheapest hotel in the area, but it was fantastic. Practicality first - only a few minutes from an MRT station. The facilities are amazing. I didn't try the actual spa area, but discovered the room had a bath as well as a shower, the shower had multiple shower head options and also doubled as a steam room. Perfect after a long run to have a private steam room, then a hot bath and finally a cool shower. Love it. The bed was massive, there was also a couch and a writing desk. Definitely the best hotel I've found in Taipei, especially at this price! Room was pretty quiet too, although as with many places the fridge was a bit noisy so I unplugged it. Also, there was a 24 hour self-service restaurant area, with cereals, breads and croissants. During the day, the cereals were replaced with crisps and at night (maybe after 10pm) there was a choice of instant noodles and a fancy cooker. Also all day there was free tea/fresh ground coffee/water/hot chocolate and also sodas on tap, along with packaged sweets and nibbles. The area was very nice and I spent a while relaxing here with a hot chocolate on the way back every day. Definitely would stay here again."

"The catering content is very good, the children's activity equipment is also good, the room is clean and tidy, and there is a cafe with movie playback. It is also close to the mall for shopping, making it suitable for families to participate together."

"Let me start with the advantages. Guests can use the underground parking lot for free. The double room is large, the bed is very comfortable, there are many TV channels, and there are welcome snacks. The downside is that the air conditioning in the room had problems when we checked in. It was very cold, and the service staff couldn't handle it. They pushed the electric heater over, but it didn't work very well. And because we had children living with us, we were afraid they might get burned, so we returned it after using it once. We reported the situation to the service staff again and asked to change rooms. The service staff agreed to change rooms, but actually said that it might still be just as cold. I personally think that this way of expression is not appropriate, so we asked that the air conditioning in the changed room must be normal. Finally, after the service staff accompanied us to confirm that there was no problem with the changed room, we changed rooms. Everything returned to normal and we could relax and rest."

"Koreans, try the hot springs here! The water is slippery and magical. The water was really good. An Uber from Wulai to Xindian Station costs about 30,000 won, and the location is great for walking along the old road. Uber wasn't easy to find in the early mornings in Wulai, but I did have breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast was so-so. If you're not used to Chinese food, I recommend Western food! The public hot springs are separated into men's and women's baths, and the water and temperature are well-managed. I was very satisfied! On the other hand, the facilities are not cost-effective. It's hard to call it a double room with a river view, and the view is a bit stuffy... I think it's because the building itself is low. And the room didn't feel very clean. The hot spring bathroom only has a shower, no toilet. ㅠㅠ So if you need to go to the bathroom after soaking in the hot springs, you end up going back and forth while wet, which inevitably wets the carpet in your room. Even with a window facing the bathroom, the moisture doesn't escape very well. Considering that, it's okay."

"Not the easiest to locate. Check in is done such that you have to WhatsApp the owners/staff before they come by to meet you. There is no counter. However they respond promptly and quickly come to pick up your luggages and bring you to the room. They are very friendly too. Unit is two stories, beautiful view from the upstairs room. Can use downstairs area to store luggages and upstairs has limited space."

"The room is big and the layout is beautiful! The equipment is also very complete, with facial cleanser included. Due to environmental protection policies, disposable items are not provided. There is also a vending machine on the first floor of the museum for purchase, which is very considerate! The bathroom has a separate shower area and a bathtub. The bathtub is very beautiful ~ couples can take a bath together!"

"Had a wonderful experience staying at the Yun Hotel with my kids. This was probably one of my most relaxing staycations as we stayed in the Water Room with the hot spring and sizable living room. The front desk had an English speak gentlemen that took care of our check in, and described all the things we could do at the hotel. This place is very kid friendly with a dedicated play room on the second floor, and a mini race track with high end electric cars for the kids to drive. There's also a snacks, arts n crafts, and a movie theatre all on the ground floor. The people staffing all these venues were all very helpful and professional. Our morning breakfast was delivered on time and so delicious. There was so much food, 3 people could not finish the 2 sets. Can't wait to visit again during the next holiday!"

"The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly. It was a little disappointing that the breakfast buffet was closed while we were there and we were given vouchers to a nearby restaurant. But even that was still a good experience. The location is good, as you can walk to the night market in just a few minutes, and can walk to the river in just over 10 minutes."

"The view is beautiful, the room is clean, luckily the elementary school has free parking spaces during the New Year, otherwise there would be no parking spaces, it is very close to the old street, the housekeeper is very nice and polite, the lady boss responded quickly online, the free snack area downstairs is very popular with children, we ate it A lot, overall happy and happy, thank you."
