I had an old acquaintance's wake in Nasu-Shiobara at short notice, and had been curious about the hot springs there, so I decided to go. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. There were lots of baths to enjoy.

Dinner, breakfast, hot springs - very satisfying

I was able to relax. The food was also satisfying... but the line for the seafood bowl at breakfast was terrible.

The food and facilities at the inn were good. However, I was not satisfied with the fact that if you make a reservation through this site, even a 2-year-old child will be charged an adult price. I will no longer use this site.

The entrance is on the high ground on the bypass side. If you arrive early, you can use the parking lot next door or across the road, but if you arrive late, you will have to drive quite far away and have a van pick you up. There are 3 hot springs: a large rock bath (indoor bath) in the basement of the main building, a semi-open-air bath in the basement of Yukyokan after crossing the rainbow bridge (connecting passage) over the Houki River, and an indoor bath on the first floor of the B&H building (this is reserved for private use, in the morning) (Open to the public). I took a bath in 3 places: before dinner, before going to bed, and in the morning, so I never get tired of it. The massages near the changing room are people from the peninsula. It feels good to be pushed so hard, but I don't understand what they're talking about, and I'm worried that they're saying something bad about me. Meals are buffet for both breakfast and dinner. Children are running around and if they bump into it, they will drop their food, which is dangerous. The menu has a wide variety, so I eat a small amount of each dish, but I ended up eating a lot of curry and ended up getting full sooner than I expected. It was a quick night.

The hotel had a lot of fun. Night stage, karaoke, table tennis, souvenir corner, game corner, night buffet, morning buffet, the price was very satisfying, and I enjoyed all three hot springs. The room was spacious, with a water server and refrigerator, the toilet had a washer, and the indoor bath was a bit old-fashioned. Anyway, the tatami room was spacious and I enjoyed relaxing. Highly recommended for family trips.

I often saw Hotel New Shiobara in commercials when I was little. I wanted to go, so I made a reservation for the weekend. It was quite crowded, probably because it was a Saturday and Sunday. It was very crowded at check-in and gave the impression of being very crowded, but no one was making a fuss and I think things went smoothly. I was thinking of making a reservation for a private bath, but the reception was around 3:20 pm and it was the last one. I thought it was quite a narrow gate. However, once I actually used it, I was satisfied. Is it okay for me to use it so extensively? ? and. I spent an hour relaxing with my family. I booked a corner room in Yusenkyo, but I regret not reading the reviews. It was very difficult to move around the building. There are three buildings standing next to each other, but each building is on a different floor, so where are you now? ? (For example, if you thought you were in B1, you moved to the 4th floor.) To get from the room to the private bath, we had to walk from one end of the building to the other, so we had to walk quite a bit. The room must have been renovated, and it looks very clean and well-cleaned. The wash basin is also spacious. It was a refrigerator with a freezer, so my husband loved being able to put ice cream in it! It said. As for the baths, there are large public baths in each building, and there are various types of baths, so it's fun. I took a standing bath with my child, and was surprised to find that it was deeper than I expected. It was a little dangerous because I couldn't see the last step, but someone who had entered earlier told me about it. It was my child's first experience in a standing bath, and he was surprised. But it looks like it was fun. Meals are buffet. It was crowded with many families. There were some people drinking alcohol, but I didn't get the impression that they were making too much noise. There is a cart, so families can carry a lot of trays on it, which seems convenient. However, since it was placed in the aisle, it sometimes got in the way of traffic. There was a long line for the sashimi, but personally, the simmered dishes were delicious. We also had an all-you-can-eat Haagen-Dazs meal, and even though the staff were busy, they served customers with smiles, which I thought was great. I think it was crowded, but there are days when it's even more crowded, and it's difficult to get a hard ice cream. I think it's a tough job. The store was spacious and nice. I was impressed by the way the staff at the store looked at a child in the middle grades of elementary school who was wearing a mask on his chin and urged him to put it on properly. The staff all greeted me with a smile and told me what I needed to be careful about, which may seem obvious, but I thought it was wonderful. The hotel was nice and I didn't get to do much sightseeing in the area, so I would like to visit again.

Since I was traveling alone for a three-day weekend, I couldn't make a reservation for an overnight stay, so I decided to take a day trip to the hot springs (adults pay 1,050 yen on weekends and holidays). There is a front desk on the second floor of the main building. Upon entering, you will have your body temperature taken and you will have to fill out a health check sheet. Day-trippers will need to purchase tickets from an automatic ticket vending machine (cash only) instead of at the check-in counter, and then hand them over to the nearby front desk staff. Hand it over. Even though I was a day-tripper, this staff member carefully gave me directions to the facility, so I didn't have to get lost even in the vast facility. Day trip bathers can use the large public bath on the first basement floor of the main building or the first basement floor of the annex building, and the building has a strange structure in which the first basement floor of the main building and the fourth floor of the annex are connected by a so-called ``Rainbow Bridge.'' There is only an indoor bath in the large public bath in the main building, which has a fairly large bathtub, a high-temperature sauna, and a cold bath.The hot spring was not too hot and the cold bath was not too cold, so I was able to exchange baths many times with the sauna. On the other hand, the large public bath in the annex has one indoor bathtub and three outdoor baths, and there is also a high-temperature sauna and cold bath at the back of the open-air bath. However, the sauna in the annex was quite hot and the cold bath was a bit cold, so instead of changing baths, I alternated between bathing in the three open-air baths overlooking the waterfall in the main building. There is a shop on the second floor of the main building, which sells not only local souvenirs, but also everyday drinks and sweets, and the prices are about the same as those at a convenience store (credit is accepted here), so there is no need to go to a convenience store far away. I was saved because there was no problem.
