One of the best hotels I have ever visited! It really captures the Japanese spirit

Like all Dormy Inn hotels, clean rooms, small but decent Onsen and Ramen at night. Will stay again when visiting Nara.

Private parking for 1500 yen until next day 11:00, Close to Nara park ,have free ramen at night , the matcha latte was creamy and smooth.

Best hotel I stopped in during my whole time in Japan. Everything about this Japanese hotel was excellent. The hotspring was incredible, the free snacks, post Onsen ice Lolly's and noodles went above and beyond. Absolutely loved it.

I stayed at this hotel recently and had a very unpleasant encounter with one of the front desk staff. Around 8 AM, the female staff member standing in the middle position was extremely rude and impatient. When I told her I would collect my suitcase between 12:00 and 14:00, she only wrote down “12:00” without confirming and gave me a very unfriendly look. Later, she asked me to lower my suitcase handle, but her English was unclear, and when I didn’t understand, she repeated it with even more frustration. Only after I looked upset did she reluctantly say “sorry.” As a foreign guest, I felt like I was treated differently—there seemed to be a clear lack of respect and possibly even discrimination. This hotel is not welcoming to international travelers, and the service was far below expectations for a hotel in Japan. I do not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again

Matsuyama san is great, with patience and kindness, he explained everything in detail, we had a good start in this wonderful hotel. The food was offered in traditional Japanese style, 怀石料理，The service was impeccable. There are three hot springs in the hotel and next door, we enjoyed all of them. A great stay. Highly recommended.

Hands down the best hotel in our travels from Kyoto, Nara and Osaka. They offered us amazing onsen baths, massage chairs, free ramen for supper and their staffs are absolutely polite. Highly recommended

Great location directly at the railway station and with just a short walk through the Main Street you can reach the Nara park. So perfect for a one day stay with the original Japanese experience! Also the breakfast is very good! 👍
