APA Hotels in Nara

Exceeded expections on all grounds! I am so happy with the hotel I wanted to spread the word. This hotel has great old world charm and more. I was a little worried about the condition of the hotel (more than 100 years old!) but everything was fine. I stayed at the Main Wing / basic room with park view. The bathroom was basic (business hotel like) but very clean, but the room / bedding and the view at our window was wonderful. Given the low price point, we were very happy with the room. Definitely recommend the Main Wing, and if you can, a room with higher price point. All staff, from shuttle bus / concierge / front desk / bar, are excellent. We really enjoyed the check in process - you can sit at the lounge admiring Einstein's piano while the front staff comes calling your name. Also try the tea lounge both during the day and night (turns to a bar). I would also like to extend special thanks to Korean speaking front manager Lee Su Jin who helped us in so many ways. She really made our stay comfortable. One thing to note about Nara city itself is that most venues close at 4pm and have unpredictable operating hours. You can't just walk around hoping to sit down at a cafe or restaurant. Highly recommend making reservations in advance of your trip and I'm sure Nara hotel concierge can help with this. I really enjoyed Nara Hotel and look really forward to returning.

The hotel is next to JR Nara Station, and there are buses to Nara Park and Todaiji Temple. The transportation is very convenient. There are 2 hot spring pools, one of which can be ventilated outdoors, and the feeling is also good. The most important thing is that the price is affordable. If you come to Nara, it is worth staying. The triple room has upper and lower bunks, and there is enough space. There are also many izakayas near the train station hotel. In addition, you can drink for free in the hotel bar before 21:00, and you can even buy octopus balls downstairs and bring them up to eat. (The hotel welcomes food)

The location of the hotel is located in the opposite side of the downtown in the direction. You can leave the station to the hotel and go along the track to shortcut. The lobby was wide 々. 10 seconds walk from JR Nara Station. It's okay even if it rains. Hotel check-in is on the 3rd floor. The bathhouse on the 6th floor is free. Free drinks on the 3rd floor. Breakfast shows the pride of the hotel. Very delicious.

Fantastic Hotel with a perfectly convenient location. The only thing is the bad attitude of a female manager at the front desk. We asked for more bottled water, but she refused. Refusing is OK, but she thought we didn't understand Japanese and said some bad words to us. Unfortunately, we are just not fluent in Japanese, but we can totally understand what she was saying. A pathetic woman manager ruined other staff's good service and hard work.

I was more interested in a nice hotel with a nice atmosphere in a good location every time I went sightseeing in Nara, so I stayed for the first time. Everywhere is very well maintained and although it is an old hotel, it was very comfortable. The room I booked is a renewed Japanese modern non-smoking twin. After all the air conditioner is new. It was a very hot day, but I was able to spend comfortably in the room. There is also a foot massage machine, so you can heal your tired legs from sightseeing. As for the lighting, I have something to tell the hotel a little. The large communal bath is not a hot spring, but it is well managed, comfortable and relaxing. The lobby has a drink server as a service for guests, which was really helpful in the hot season. I booked with breakfast and dinner, but the taste of Nara was very delicious and I enjoyed Nara sake. The location is close to Kintetsu Nara Station and close to tourist spots, so it is a place where you can return to the hotel and rest as soon as you get tired of sightseeing. Convenience stores, shopping streets and souvenir shops are also nearby, making it the best location. If I have a chance to go to Nara again, I definitely want to stay here. At that time, I would be happy if other rooms were renewed. I'm sure the rooms that have not been renewed are clean, but new equipment such as air conditioning and lighting is a condition for me to spend comfortably. I look forward to it.

The location is quite far from JR Nara Station and Todaiji, the core of Nara travel, but Kintetsu Railway Shin-Omiya Station is a 10-minute walk away and Heijogu Historical Park is close. Mr Okubo Ren and Ms Miyamae also delivered great service during my lunch dining on the second day. Overall, the dining experience at Azekura was the highlight of my stay and till now, I couldn’t help but marvel due to the great service that was initiated by Mr Wang Yu Wen. Additionally, I would like to commend the impeccable service I received during the check-in process. I I was impressed at Mr Kim’s patience and service throughout the check-in experience, and I was really glad to get a warm welcoming experience from both Mr Arjun and Ms Pitcha at the lobby. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate specific requests made a significant difference, setting the tone for an enjoyable and happy stay. It is evident that the team takes pride in delivering top-notch service, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Furthermore, the hospitality at the lounge was exemplary. Despite the huge crowd during the festive season, the lounge staff did create a comfortable and enjoyable one.
