Beautiful hotel with excellent amenities for everyone! Hot spring in room was definitely an added bonus… Breakfast and Dinner buffets was one of the best I’ve had this trip with huge selection of quality produce.

The location just near the lake. Cleanliness was ok. Hotel very very small. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a family operated hotel. They cleaned the room immediately when requested. Hotel was old. Breakfast was simple with vegetarian options. But could not eat. The non- veg smell came from the wedges or hash browns. All were served in the same tray. They even cooked some rice dumpling and a planted based cracker like food. But pure vegetarian will not be able to eat. Bread and conger were ok. Same food both days. Water dispenser on 3rd floor. No air-conditioning. The window cannot close airtight. Only a thin perforated mobile door on 1 side. The outside temperature was too cold and the room air-conditioning was not able to on. Very disappointing.

It is really disappointing at this price. It is obvious that the whole hotel is only supported by its geographical location. The environmental sanitation in the room is not carefully maintained. It is far from the standard that a four-star hotel should have. Many basics Stains and mildew that can be removed with mildew removal or cleaning are in the room, which is very disgusting🤮

Spring Ground Hotel is in good Location and close about 5mins drive to CingJing Farm. If you take Nan Tou Bus, you can drop off at Shou Ting Bus Stop, it will be just 1min walk to the Hotel. It's very convenience. Hotel's scenery and hotel itself is very Beautiful. In early of Nov, The weather is so nice. Day time is ok around 25c and Night Time around 15-18c. There is no need for air conditioner. Hotel Breakfast is just ok. If you want to go to CingJing Farm or small market, you can inform the hotel staff, they are nice to help you. Hotel also have a good Mala Hot Pot restaurant. Restaurant need you to order at least 1set per person but the price is reasonable and very good tasty. We are all happy staying here.

While the resort doesn't entirely meet our preferences, considering the cost we paid the overall experience is still acceptable. It may appeal more to those who enjoy living close to nature. I must say they serve us a very healthy and generously portioned breakfast, and the staff are friendly too.

Minsu located near to hot spot town area - where u can get to 7-11 and others restaurants/fast foods, and Swiss Garden.
The room is great with splendid view from window and balcony.
My only issues - rare there is no toiletries provided other than body and hair shampoo, hair conditioner and body lotion. Fortunately there is 7-11 nearby. The last thing I need is to spend $ for such simple thing, which should be provided in the room.
Another issue I had is the path to building is covered with feeble stones and lots of staircase. Obviously, this minsu is for lite travellers. If you carry heavy luggage, well, good luck carry it till you reach your room floor 😓
Owner need to think about travellers with heavy luggage as the path is not user friendly 😉

This time I traveled with my family and arranged to stay at the Hi-Lai Sun Moon Resort for two days and one night. The experience was really pleasant. Both the service and the hotel's hardware and software facilities were great! The only thing is that the main course of dinner is a little insufficient! But you really get what you pay for, the service is perfect💯 I recommend you to stay here if you have the chance👍

This time we were given a four-person room on the fifth floor. The room was spacious, comfortable and bright. The balcony had a view of Sun Moon Lake. The most important thing was that there was a parking space for parking. It was very convenient for travelers arriving by car, so they didn’t have to worry about parking. , the parking lot service staff and front desk service staff want to be friendly. Tea and biscuits are provided on the first floor. The biscuits are very popular with children.
Although the breakfast location is nearby, it is only a three-minute walk away. It is very close and has a variety of meal options. The line for picking up food is not crowded. There are many guests staying in the hotel. The hotel has batch meals. Passengers can choose their own dining tiers. It is quite flexible and the seats are If you are near the window area, you can enjoy the lake view while dining, which is really great.
I am very grateful for this housing arrangement and look forward to visiting again on my next family trip.

Xitou Xiati Hotel has a large house, good breakfast with diverse choices. I hope the dishes can be changed on odd and even days. The dinner price is OK, all ingredients are authentic. The room is also very considerate - Foot message, I went to Xitou Education Park for a walk and came back. I could massage my feet immediately. I could also take a bath on the balcony. It was really enjoyable. If time permits, I can take pictures and make key chains. It is a good hotel for vacation in Xitou. It’s just that I didn’t see fireflies due to the weather. I will stay here next time!

GGuest UserLocation is super convenient, barely 50m from the 7-eleven and SML's Nantou Bus Ticketing counter where Nantou Bus 6670 from Taichung drop passengers. The ground floor of the B&B is a elegantly decorated tea-shop and had a pleasant whiff of red-dates chinese tea, very welcoming on a hot day. Our room was nicely renovated, very cosy and clean, well laid out, with Taiwan cable channels and Youtube smart TV box. It has modern toilet fittings and very refreshing lightly scented shampoo and body wash in dispensers. The lady at the counter (小芸) was absolutely helpful. She sold us discounted ferry tickets compared to buying from the counters at the pier, explained activities to do and places to visit and boat/bus routes around SML when we arrived and gave us a WhatsApp to contact her for any queries. She also advised us to visit Itashao to taste the street foods for lunch and recommend places for dinner through WhatsApp after returning to Shiushe without pushing us to visit the restaurants nor buy tea from the shop. Truly warm ********* hospitality and the best part of staying in this B&B.

PPEASHOOTSThe hotel was beautiful, about 50 meters from the pier as you get off the boat. The hotel staff were very welcoming and spoke good English. Our room was available before our check-in time which was really handy and the room was incredibly clean and spacious.
The staff do go above and beyond to ensure your stay with them meets your needs and will aid in organising transport that fits in with your itinerary.
We’ve never stayed in a hotel where it felt the staff genuinely cared about our time spent in their area. After worrying over how to get from Sun Moon Lake to our next destination, the hotel staff helped plan our bus routes, arrange a taxi service and called us in the morning to ensure we were up for the very early bus we needed to catch.
Ita Thao in our opinion is the best side of the lake to stay, everyone is very friendly and the street food is much better. In addition the cable car service is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which takes you to the beautiful Aboriginal Village and theme park. Boat rides, paddle boats, kayaks, bikes, electric scooters are all a stones throw from the hotel and a 15 minute cycle from Wenwu Temple.
We did in-depth research into all the accommodation around the whole of Sun Moon Lake and we can say for certain, this hotel is perfect.

JJasmineWe really enjoyed staying here to the point we extended 2 more nights here. A total of 5 days was a full of blast experience! Kudos to the butler he's so friendly indeed! Sadly, I didn't see him on the day of our checked out to give some token of appreciation. As far as I remember he was dutied during the days 3/24-26 and we checked out 3/27.

TTravel_with_soo_yanI travelled with a group of friends and stayed at a 6ppl family room at Euro Country Villa. The view from the room balcony was stunning! I feel very relaxed seeing such a pretty view in the early morning when I wake up and the room was as spacious as expected. Although there is no air conditioning (but I saw heating available) available, I don't think it's needed anyway given it's quite windy and cool at night even in summer.
During check-in, we were told they served both afternoon tea and breakfast. Breakfast is good with simple food, I didn't have a chance to enjoy their afternoon tea but I heard they served tea and cookies.
Just one reminder - If you do not drive like me, it will take you ~10 mins walk (＜15mins if you have luggage on this sloped unpaved road) from the nearest bus station/convenience store. Might not be the most ideal if you carry very bulky heavy luggage. That said, you might still find it worthy seeing this stunning view when you get up.

PPgzdA hotel with great views and facilities. The room is spacious, but the price we paid per night draws disappointment when we noticed the state of cleanliness of the room. The curtains were dusty, window corners has webs and the most disappointing was the bathtub that has mould and dirt in it. Otherwise, it would have been a perfect location to stay in Sun Moon Lake area !

CCYY1111I booked Lake View Quad 1 Room 2 Nights. Inside the room two large double beds were placed side by side on one side of the room, leaving a small passage to place your luggages and to move within the room. The two beds were sufficient for 4 pax. But the beds were so close, there was no walking space between them. One can only get out of the bed via the foot of the bed. This is not ideal for senior people who may need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. So if you are travelling with seniors, take the twin / double room instead. The savings is not worth it. Plus the room has really limited space for 4 adults to be moving around.
The plus point for this hotel is that it has an amazing view of the lake and there are many shops along the street. Do note that the walls are thin, you can hear your neighbours next door, especially if they sat at the balcony. There was no shower curtain so the whole toilet was wet after our shower. We didn't use the tub as it was not easy for the seniors to sit inside. No amenities except Shampoo and Body Soap.

Room was as per advertised. Spacious enough for a family of 4.
Toothbrush, comb, shavers and towels are available too.
Staff was good and clear of information. Just be mindful that after 8pm onwards, there would be no staff around - so you would require to remember the password of the main entrance.
NOTE: There's no English T&Cs, so be prepared to have your Google translator on your phone if you can't read Chinese.
Constant hot water for shower would be from 5PM to 12PM daily. If you would to shower earlier in the morning, you would require let the water run for awhile before the hot water is available otherwise you may have to shower with icy cold water.
Generally, you would require a transport within Cingjing else it's not accessible for you to grab food or your necessities from the 7-11.
Breakfast is available at NT$200/pax from 7:30AM - 9AM. Brunch is available at ala carte prices ranging from NT$150 onwards from 9AM - 2PM. Restaurants are available within Cingjing if you have your own transportation. Otherwise, you may wish to call the cafe located at the Swiss Garden, they do offer food delivery but be sure to check on their operating hours. 😀

魂魂魂The hotel is inside the old street, and is in the first row of Sun Moon Lake, directly in front of the pier square!
There are special parking lots or you can park directly in the public parking lot in front of the pier. Most of the breakfast is vegetarian, and you have to walk to the second restaurant to eat (I also saw the boss using a golf cart to take other guests). The downside is that there is no refrigerator in the room, but it is still clean and tidy.
