Spacious and comfortable room. The onsen is quite large and well equipped, however the downside is that it has no view. The hotel also has locker room for ski equipment which is very convenient. It takes 10 minutes to travel from the hotel to the Akakura Onsen town and most other ski resorts in the area, driving is recommended but there are also shuttle services.

Property is set in a very quiet and peaceful environment. Very clean and modern. Well maintained after its renovation. There are plenty of free parking space. Room is big but unfortunately without shower/bath - a big negative for the property. There are two common showers for the whole hotel which must be busy during peak seasons. I recommend the hotel especially during off peak season when you can use the public showers. Otherwise you have to use the bathing facilities in the onsen.

I ski every year, so this is the second year in a row. The hotel is my favorite style. Japanese tatami, large rooms, bathing area, laundry, breakfast and dinner are all buffet style, the food is very exquisite, the taste is not that of ordinary buffet, very pleasantly surprised, highly recommended.

I stayed here with my family for a ski trip. We had a great time in one room with six people from three generations of parents and children, and we were very satisfied. We took baths both at night and in the morning, and because the steam from the baths didn't obscure the view, foreigners who are uncomfortable being naked probably wouldn't feel embarrassed. The food was well-balanced and delicious. There wasn't a large selection, but everything was delicious. I'd like to stay here again.

New and clean, but if you choose a small room, there is no private bathroom. It will be more comfortable if you choose a large room with a bathroom.

Huge and spacious hotel Huge rooms. Most rooms do not come with shower facilities though. Most guests would shower in the onsen. For those who dont use the onsen, there is a very decently sized common shower area on level 2 with 2 cubicles, amenities, towels and haor dryer etc. I also loved the very comfortable robes that are provided for guests and can be used within the hotel premises. Compliments to the front desk staff especially Yoko. Thank you! Breakfast was tasty. Free parking ( unsheltered) HUGE ski dry room with plenty of lockers and hangers and a heater in the centre Gym and well equipped gym and a table tennis table. We spent plenty of time in the library bar every evening, drinking wine, chatting and playing cards. There is also a coin operated laundry on level 3 The hotel generally feels very quiet and uncrowded despite being peak season The nearest ski slope is Ikenotaira which is a few min drive away. A car would be useful if staying at Myoko

The hotel was probably built by renovating an elementary school, but it doesn't look like it from the outside, and the inside has the kanji for a stylish Scandinavian hotel. To be honest, I was surprised at how different the first floor lobby looked like a fashionable hotel in New York from the outside. The overall image is unified, and the design is on par with the Hyatt Group (or even better...) and the balance of the design is wonderful. The use of materials, the selection of bulbs and lights, and the way the lighting is applied all make you wonder, "Is this really worth the price?" That's how wonderful it is. The room is not very large. But that's only when you look at the numbers. It's enough for the actual experience. Because there are no extra tables, sofas, trash cans, etc. The chair doesn't have a backrest, but it fits completely under the desk, so it doesn't get in the way or out of sight. So it feels big. I think this area is designed with a simple modern Scandinavian style in mind. wonderful. Enough amenities. I think women should bring a variety of things, but even pajamas are made of very comfortable material. The bath is the highlight of this hotel. Of course the hot springs are nice. However, what surprised me most was that it was compatible with babies. First of all, there is a chair in the changing room where the baby can sit, just for men! it's amazing! ! I used to have a hard time without this😆There's even a trash can to throw away diapers. The highlight is the children's bath installed on the bathroom side and the foam soap! I often have baths, but this is the first time that one is equipped with foam soap. . . I thought it was a really progressive and wonderful hotel to have this on the men's side! The food is a buffet, but the quality is quite high. The restaurant itself is not that big, so I was able to enjoy my meal without feeling too busy. All the staff are kind as well. It may not be as sophisticated as Hyatt, but as mentioned above, it is a service that is close to the customer, as evidenced by the fact that every detail has been designed and installed with the customer in mind. Even though it's such a small place, it's nice to have some room service. It was a wonderful hotel that I would like to come back to again.

I don't want to write anything too bad, but the look and reviews are super modern, but the inside is... For better or worse, it was a hotel full of old public facilities. Are you looking for something fashionable like a couple? ? ? becomes. Specifically, the employees are mostly elderly. In short, it's unprofessional. And as for the food, the buffet is small and has a small number of items, and many of them are frozen. As for the customer base, the elderly and families stand out. I wonder if the resort development company consults and manages it locally, but... The good thing is that the interior is stylish, and the sofas and desks are very easy to use. It's expensive, so you'll want to pay for it, but if you can stay cheaply, it's worth it. It's not bad at all, but I can't deny that I was disappointed because I expected too much.
