Hotels with Parking in Multnomah County

The staff is very friendly. The parking lot is in the public parking lot at different entrances of the same building. It is a bit ”unfriendly” that the overnight charge for the public parking lot is $28, but it costs $35 to apply at the hotel. It may be that there is ”service” in it. Overall it is quite good.

I read up on this hotel prior to booking and some reviews were not very complimentary. My experience was exactly opposite! I enjoyed a very pleasant stay even though it was during the recent Portland snow/ice/high wind event. The staff was very pleasant and professional at check in and throughout my stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast while basic was tasty and there were enough options that if anyone went hungry it was by choice. All in all a very good stay, and cheaper and nicer facility than the price of the hotel across the parking lot where my meetings were held

Me and my wife spent 1 night at holiday inn express Portland east/ troutdale. It was our 6yr wedding anniversary and upon checking in we met CARLOS the receptionist there. CARLOS was very pleasant, friendly, and outgoing we mentioned to CARLOS that it was our 6yr wedding anniversary. CARLOS upgraded us to a bigger room with a king size bed and couch with a refrigerator and microwave, we were very pleased with the accommodations. CARLOS went above and beyond the call of his duty as a front desk receptionist, CARLOS deserves an increase in pay for his quick response in making us feeling at home. We will definitely come back to stay here again, kuddos to you CARLOS. The indoor pool and whirlpool was awesome as well as the complimentary breakfast in the morning. I love the quick online check out service as well. Again we will definitely be back thanks to the friendly staff at Holiday Inn Express Portland East/troutdale, Godbless you all🙏🏽😇🙌🏽

I don’t understand the glowing reviews & photos are definitely deceiving. I should have captured the armed security guards all over the place and the homeless drug addicts shooting up on the street. I have never been so relieved to leave Portland. What a gorgeous city overcome with homeless tent camps and sad addicts freebasing on every corner. Tried to walk a few blocks to dinner but had to Uber back in order to be safe. Thankfully we didn’t bring our children but it would have been such an education on why not to try drugs. Luckily our car was not broken in to (see past reviews) however a homeless person clearly made it onto our floor screaming at 5am since the elevator’s card reader to make it onto upper floors was not operational. We were mostly deceived by AmEx as this property was listed as a Fine Hotels property. It is not but I would say the others listed were not either (the Nines was much nicer but more addicts were down that way. Another old hotel but nice hotels in Portland are few & far between). Love this city but I will not be back until it is cleaned up and the Ritz Carlton opens. All of this said, the staff at the Duniway are doing their best with what they have to work with. We experienced great customer service, clean rooms, and comfortable rooms. The hotel desperately needs an update though. What made our stay a positive one is that we left unharmed, found some great restaurants (go to the Pearl District), and spent all day away from Portland at Hood River or the Oregon coast.

There are too many American tramps. When a smoking place is smoking outside the hotel lobby, a tramp is coming. It may be the reason of American culture. The hotel seems to be in a safe clean area. We took Uber to get to all our destinations because it is not near any of the tourist sites we visited. The staff was very nice. We called after getting our luggage and the hotel shuttle picked us up in about 10 minutes. Our preselected room was not ready, so we opted to take a room that was ready. The foyer had gravel and we found a tiny sock near the table. The bathroom faucet had stains which I cleaned. The bed was lumpy but clean. WiFi is not secure, nor does it offer you the upgrade (I called Hilton Honors and 2 representatives didn’t understand what is WiFi. They really didn’t know what WiFi is so they both turfed it the the front desk.) Unfortunately front desk said they couldn’t find anyone to fix it. It was fairly quiet as you can hear traffic in the distant background. Breakfast was very good.
