Great hot spring hotel. There is a shuttle bus from Morioka Station at 15:00, 500 yen per person, directly to the hotel. The hotel to Morioka Station is at 9:50 in the morning, and the journey takes 20 minutes. The hotel is very quiet, and Iwate Mountain is outside the window. The hot spring is great and worth experiencing. There are also folk performances in the evening.

Big hotel, beautiful view, has onsen on the 2nd and 3rd floors. If you book a private onsen, there is an additional charge of 2,000 yen.

The hotel is quite big and has several hot springs. The dinner was very satisfying and I will come again next time.

This is a large hot spring hotel. Of course the baths are hot springs, but this hotel is recommended for those who want to enjoy hot springs in a clean and well-organized environment rather than the simple atmosphere of a hot spring inn. The rooms range from Japanese-style to Western-style, and there are two bathrooms with a variety of bath types to choose from. The hotel is also well-equipped with facilities (restaurants, pub, shops, etc.), making it suitable for families with children and groups. The open-air baths with natural hot spring water are recommended.

I stayed here on a 2-night, 3-day free tour run by a travel agency. It was a simple tour with a bullet train and accommodation. It also included a round-trip shuttle from Morioka Station to the hotel, which is currently 200 yen one way. However, on the second day, it cost 200 yen one way to take the shuttle bus to Morioka city. There is only one bus leaving Morioka Station at 3pm, so if you want to play a little more, you can take a local bus, which costs 630 yen from Morioka Station. This local bus takes about 35 minutes, passing through Aeon Mall and Morioka Handicraft Village. It is about a 15-minute walk from the end of the line, Tsunagi Onsen, to the hotel, but if you call after arriving, they will come to pick you up. This is free. The hotel entrance is on the second floor, but there is a large lobby with a view of Lake Gosho spread out in front of you. Here, depending on the season, Sansa Odori is held every night from 8:15 pm for 25 minutes. The preservation society changes every day, so the dances and drums are different, so it is fun to watch every night and it is very impressive. From 3pm, you can enjoy welcome drinks such as coffee, tea, orange juice, and popsicles in the lobby. There is also an ice vendor, so you can drink in your room. There is a large hot spring bath on the third floor, which is also good, but the Nanbu Magariya bath on the second floor was better. It is open from 5am to 10pm, and you can enjoy two types of baths on a daily basis. The architecture is also wonderful. Meals were included in the tour, and both nights were different and very delicious. Breakfast is a buffet, but there are many locally produced dishes (Hittsumi soup, Morioka soba, Jajamen, etc.). All rooms have a lake view, but the upper floors seem to be better. There is a 12-tatami Japanese-style room with a 3-tatami chair and table space by the window. There is a separate toilet and a large sink, and there is also a room bath, but I did not use it because there is a hot spring.
