Good experience.. location, service.. everything is good

Everything was excellent and the staff were super attentive and friendly, however, there were very few staff in the hotel's bars/restaurants for so many guests. The service was slow.

During your stay get at least one massage from Rosa at the spa. She has THE best hands. She gives one of (if not the best) neck and back massages. You will do yourself a disservice if you miss out on the opportunity. I went twice and the second massage was even better than the first (and that’s saying something!). It’s that good!

Very nice and quite place. Swimming pool is great located in nice garden. Buffet option for dinner is excellent. Good variety of tasty products and drinks at a good price. Service is excellent.rooms are very well decorated and spacious. Breakfast is copious and very good. Parking facilities.

This is by far one of the best places to go and relax for a few days to get away from everything. Everyone is so thoughtful. Bars and pools everywhere. Rooms are big and comfortable. We went for all-inclusive which is definitely worth it! The Restaurant Bar Do Clube Náutico gave us the best meal we had ever had. 5 stars! Chef Cainâ Monteiro was superb. He was só considerate with everyone, came out and told us about each dish presented. When he learned about our anniversary, he provided a cake and champagne. All the waiters were so professional, too. If you go here, you will not regret having a meal at the Clube and be sure to ask for Chef Cainã!

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon, I would recommend this place every day of the week. We had booked a two bedroom villa with private pool. On arrival, we were upgraded to a three bed villa for no extra charge. We really appreciated this as we have three kids. The villas themselves are stunning both in terms of location and spec. The villas are situated across the road from the main hotel (behind secure gates) but there is an underground tunnel to walk from this area back to hotel which takes approximately five mins in total. The main hotel itself is is run by warm and efficient staff. Breakfast is excellent and we had the dinner buffet on one night which was also excellent. Pool and gym facilities are also faultless (yes there are some minor areas of the overall hotel which could do with maintenance but I do mean minor!). I do see some negative reviews on here. We got a great deal off- season which was certainly worth every penny. It is considerably more expensive in the summer (almost double) which might make me a harsher critic, but not today! I will be back again!

Big nice room, excellent shower.Stupid reception. We booked an upgraded room at a promotional price on booking. Reception tried to cheat and gave us a classical room without saying anything. When we mentioned the “error”, the started by saying that booking made a mistake and was not serious. We insisted and had to wait more than one hour to finally get a kind of upgraded room. It is a shame knowing that more than 10 rooms of the real upgrade were available. Breakfast was simply good no more. Nearly all plates meant to be hot were luke warm or in several cases (the eggs) cold. Even the eggs “sunny side up” coming freshly from the kitchen were cold! The evening buffet was OK; we had much better ones in 4 star hotels at the Algarve. The pool has a very dangerous drench around (1, 50 m deep and a width of 40 cm). So watch out for you children. The rooms and the different other places are not easy to find as different lifts have to be taken according to the building you are in and the level.

For a 5 star Hotel the service is very poor. How can a hotel, at peak time, have the restaurants closed for lunch???? Only available food is at the pool bar. For dinner the restaurant is also closed, the buffet is available on the breakfast site, expensive for what it is. Rooms are good size although from the reception we have to go up 1 floor, walk 5 minutes, go down a floor, walk 2 minutes to get to the room! Safe was broken, it was fixed later, the slider balcony door is broken/stuck and it takes 2 persons to open it only halfway. Breakfast was OK.

The hotel is located well next to the lake, and the pools are decent. However this is certainly not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are a good size and have good views. Not sure why anyone would pay extra for a lake view room though as all rooms have a view of the lake, just some over the pools. There is a rather disconcerting photo of a bunch of old farmers with pitchforks overlooking the bed which isn’t great. There is an espresso machine, but no milk or sugar anywhere to be seen. The service is the thing that really lets this hotel down. Staff are nice enough although not particularly warm. But the service takes forever. We ordered a beer and cocktail from the pool bar and they said they would bring it to our table. It took 45 minutes to arrive, with no one else in the queue. Each day our food orders would take a huge amount of time to arrive, and once our food arrived after 45 minutes, and our drinks came after an hour. It makes no sense as it wasn’t super busy and there were plenty of serving staff. It is really disappointing as there aren’t many close options around, but even so we felt compelled to drive 25 mins each evening to the nearest town to escape the poor service of the hotel. With a management change and better training, this hotel could be a place I could return to, but I can say here and now that I won’t ever be coming back
